Called at 6pm tonight (Monday), they put me on hold for a few minutes. Took my order and when I arrived 15 minutes later it was just coming out of the kitchen. To the reviewer who gave the 1 star review because they weren't open or weren't answering the phone or open when they said they would be... wow really?! This is a family owned business trying to go through Covid - when I was there there was only one person handling the register and packaging the to go orders. Please be more compassionate of these businesses trying to get through difficult times, especially when their food is amazing!!! Now - the honest truth.... I haven't been here since March. And the food was even BETTER than I remembered. Everything was delicious, fresh and cooked to order. We had the Korean BBQ beef, Spicy Korean BBQ pork and Chicken teriyaki. After trying to call and no answer for a few days just to put in my order ahead of time I decide to go in. Well that proved to be a mistake. That attitude from the cashier who was obviously in a rush to get my order and get us out was sooo rude!! A friend went in with me and we literally were rushing to our wallets to beat each other to pay and I told the cashier not to take money from my friend. I got a nasty eye role and more of a rushed ..... ok here sign and she walked away. If you don't want the business, close ur doors. First off, let me start by saying Food here is delicious! But Ownership, on the other hand, is lacking for sure(the reason for the two stars ). I feel like the owner is probably a good chef but lacks basic customer service and treats customers very Rude !! Definitely has an attitude problem for what ever reason and never smiles.She gets very uneasy when you want to customize your orders and charges 5$ dollars for extra vegetables and all you get is a bunch of bell peppers and cabbage No broccoli or actual vegetables (only the cheap stuff). Been here a few times and the staff, on the other hand, are accommodating I can tell they dislike there Boss. I really like this place! One of the best places to eat in Tujunga. Friendly staff, great food. I also like that they play jazz on the speakers. I recommend the KBBQ Beef Fries and the KBBQ Salad. WOW. How have I never been here before?! This place is a cute lil lunch spot hidden in the corners of tujunga!! My boyfriend and I had lunch here. I got the kbbq beef bowl and he got the bacon cheese fries. The beef bowl was SOOO TASTY. Like sweet but not too much. It was soooo delicious! I've never had anything like it before. The bacon cheese fries were just that. Bacon with cheese and ranch on top of thick cut fries. They have a lot of other items on the menu that all sounded very good. I definitely will be back to try the rest of their food! The only reason I took off a star is because of the customer service. When we walked in, the cashier welcomed us and asked if we were ready and when we said "no" she just walked straight back to the kitchen without a word. It was a bit odd. My boyfriend and I looked at each other like "what just happened?" It seemed as if she was in a bad mood. She barely made eye contact nor smiled and seemed like she was rushing us to order. I come to this place only for the grilled chicken salad, the salad is great, but I can't understand why they can't provide some olive oil and vinegar. Actually, the owner's explanation was like this "it is costly, and I never saw in restaurantes olive oil and vinegar outside(seriously, what planet does she live in?), and people take advantage if we do that" Ok, I was not fine with the owner's explanation and her attitude, almost annoyed with me. I am so happy I discovered this joint. The Korean BBQ teriyaki bowl is amazing, and is only one of MANY options. They have a good variety of plates and even have sandwiches, which also look bomb.com. I also ordered the pastrami fries which were pretty good, but personally I was not a huge fan of the pastrami itself. I definitely want to try the Korean BBQ fries next time. I'd come all time if it weren't so pricy. That's my only critique of this place, but it's worth it because it's so delicious. I had just got off work and was really tired so I didn't feel like cooking. I really didn't want fast food and decided to drive around and BOOM! I come across this beautiful gem! As soon as I walked in I got a home fee to it. The restaurant was very clean and was treated right away. Everything on the menu sounded good. Update. I've been here a half dozen times. It takes forever to get your food. And the folks In the kitchen just look miserable. They are either way understaffed in the kitchen or need to six sigma their process. Food is good but don't come hungry. If you order more than one thing, it comes out one dish at a time. So while your guest is enjoying their food, you're left waiting. Deeeeelish! Took my husband and son here this past weekend. I got the Korean BBQ plate (no rice, extra salad), they got the Teriyaki Bowls. So yum! The guy behind the counter was also very knowledgeable about the menu. Well today was the last time I set foot in this establishment. I called 7 F*Cking times and no answer starting at 8:39pm on today Friday June 14 2019. I finally gave up and drove to the restaurant and asked why no one was answering the phone because I wanted to place an order, the worker told me the kitchen was closed at 8:45, I arrived at 8:50, he went and got the owner, Younger Korean lady, I told her I've been calling since 8:39pm. After much contemplating, I decided to rate this place based on food only. After waiting over 20-25 minutes for our take out order, I kept saying to myself, the food better be worth it! To start, I tried calling ahead, like I do most take out orders, but no one answered the phone. Upon arrival, there were a couple people ahead ordering, and one cashier. It all reminded me of Diner Dash. Ordered the combo chicken and steak over rice that was served with fruit and salad. The teriyaki sauce was astounding! I can taste a hint of ginger in it. Anything with ginger is good eats. It had just the right amount of sweetness that was light, and sauce was not overwhelmingly thick. Also ordered their Korean BBQ bowl that was tender and decent size for a bowl. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. They're somewhat new needing a lot more help. The background Korean music at the counter was insane. I'd die listening to that if I sat and ate here. There's also a good amount of seating with booths, chairs and high table top table & chairs. Corner Grill is an amazing choice for fusion food regardless of what you are craving. The service is amazing, the food is exactly what you expect, and the price is reasonable. I am usually not one to praise service staff for being friendly because I think that it should be standard. However, I must say that the lady working the cashier was incredibly charming and made me feel very comfortable. Great job to you! Both times I have come here I have ordered the Seoul Burger. As a fan of spicy pork and burgers of all shapes and sizes, I must say that this is totally worth the money. There are many upscale burgers of similar or greater price that do not have nearly as much flavor or richness as the Seoul Burger. It's messy, spicy, sweet, fatty, and salty. It's literally everything you could ask for in a cheat meal and the pickles compliment the fatty nature of the burger so well.
