When we arrived, we had cocktails at the bar first before we decided to sit for dinner. I have to laugh because one man went to pull out a barstool for his date and the backrest came off and he was so embarrassed! I did notice some of the barstools were wobbly and uneven. Other than that, the bar experience was fine. When the hostess brought us to our table, she seated us at a large booth away from the window. When I mentioned my reservation request, which I made weeks in advance, she was able to switch it. The view we had was amazing, we could see the water and the art museum. The service was top-notch at dinner and the food was 5-stars!!! I was greeted with a beautiful, handwritten birthday card, which I truly appreciated. We ordered the tomato salad for an appetizer to share (it was fresh and light), clam chowder (which was amazing and creamy), and we both had the Filet Mignon & Crab Oscar. The entree was FABULOUS! The steak was cooked to my liking and the crab Oscar was soooo delicious! We both loved it! To end the evening, we shared a birthday dessert thanks to Harbor House and it was delicious! The Lobster Pot Pie is offered at market price ($55 when I went). They give you generous chunks of butter-poached lobster tails, seasonal vegetables, lobster cream in their truffle puff pastry.
