    Old fashioned and Guinness

This is a great local bar that transports you to a bar somewhere up north with the decor and style of the bar. The music is always great and if a big game is on then the speakers play the game. They have a wide variety of beverages on their drink menu plus supply a full bar. I love the daily deal of $5 old fashioned! They offer pizza as well if you're hungry and free popcorn is available. The service is typically quick but some Saturday nights can get pretty packed!

The image shows a group of people seated at a bar, watching a football game on a large screen. The bar is decorated with multicolored Christmas lights and holiday-themed ornaments, including a chandelier with antlers and ornaments hanging from the ceiling. The setting appears festive, with various decorations and a cozy atmosphere suitable for social gatherings during the holiday season.

Fun place to hang out and watch the game, play trivia or just meet up with friends for a drink! This place is filled with decor galore! From the taxidermy to festive lights, doesn't disappoint. Don't miss the bear when you enter!

A true Milwaukee staple. When you step inside it's like you've traveled to the northwoods of Wisconsin. Deer on the wall, cabin like interior, and wood all around. Come around Christmas time and you'll be blinded by the amount of lights they put in the area to really get you in the Christmas spirit. They have good pizzas if you get hungry while watching a game, and if you aren't looking for a full meal - guess what? Free popcorn! A great spot to hang out with friends, play darts, and watch games. A must if you are leaving the bustling crowds of MKE Pride or Summerfest. They set up outside in the street for Packer games - bring a chair and enjoy the sunshine!

Manhattan - A pink cocktail in a martini glass is positioned on a polished wooden table inside a bar. The background features colorful string lights and decorative figurines hanging from the ceiling, creating a festive atmosphere. The bar has chairs and patrons visible in the background, with the focus on the drink and the vibrant lighting.

I love Camp Bar for the cozy comfortable atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. I came here recently for an after-dinner nightcap and a game of cribbage. I love how they have it decked out for the holidays. It's their annual Santa Camp, which includes festive decorations, Christmas lights galore, and a holiday inspired cocktail menu. We were here on a Sunday evening and we easily able to find a table to sit, enjoy our cocktails, and play some cribbage. After we were done playing our game, we were also able to find a comfy spot by the fire to enjoy the remainder of our cocktails. The cocktails themselves were just ok. I think if you like vodka drinks or cocktails on the sweeter side---this would be a great spot. Also, if you tend toward beer at bars, they have a decent draft list. I tend toward classic whiskey cocktails and interesting mixology--which Camp Bar isn't really all about. That said, I'll keep on coming here for the comfort and casual coziness. And, of course--the holiday vibes in November and December. Get to it!

Bar - A mounted bear head with an open mouth is displayed behind a bar area, adorned with Christmas garlands and multicolored string lights. The bar features various bottles of alcohol, beer taps, and glassware, with festive decorations including small figurines and holiday-themed items. A clock is visible on the wall above the display, and the overall setting suggests a rustic, holiday-themed bar environment.

We came here last night and the decor is so cute! Perfect place for a holiday bar crawl. They have a ton of fun drinks on their menu, however, I didn't try any since the place was swamped and it definitely seemed like the bartenders were very busy. I didn't want to make them go through the ice cream drinks, but if I go back I'd like to try those. I got the old fashioned and it definitely was one of the better old fashioneds I have had! They also have the great lakes Christmas ale which is one of our favorites, a pro tip would be to do a sugar rim with it though, that's how they do it at the brewery! Overall a fun place to go, great decorations, fun drinks, but be careful it gets super busy and crowded!

Right side of the bar area after walking in the front door, with the fireplace the main highlight. TVs along the wall to the right as well. - The image shows a bar interior with warm, low lighting. A large moose head is mounted above a stone fireplace, which is lit with a small fire. The walls are made of wood logs, decorated with a mounted fish and vintage signs. There are several tables and chairs, creating a rustic, cabin-like atmosphere suitable for social gatherings.

This is a solid little bar in the heart of the Third Ward, and I'd been wanting to try it for a while when my girlfriend and friend and I decided to go here after catching a show at ComedySportz a few blocks southwest of the place. After taking a second to find some parking (parking in the Third Ward is one of the biggest headaches in Milwaukee, I swear), we entered the bar and were all carded on entrance by a bouncer before looking around and getting a feel for the place--there's two ways you can enter the bar from the entrance, with a longer, more 'open' area to the left and a smaller, more compact space to the right. We ended up choosing the spot to the right, as there were more tables open along the wall, and the décor was cozy and warm. There's a large fireplace along the far wall, and there are comfy leather sofa chairs situated around it, something we would've taken advantage of if they weren't already occupied. We took a high table instead, and two of us ordered at the bar while the third stayed with the table. The bartender was nice but seemed a little frazzled--the place was packed that night, and they seemed understaffed, with only one bartender behind the bar and one guy bar-backing. Our side of the bar was completely full, and it took a few minutes to get our drinks, but the mixed drinks the bartender made were extremely strong (in a good way) and worth the money, and I just got a Spotted Cow, a boring but steady Wisconsin classic. We spent another hour in the place, and most of it was passed just talking amongst ourselves or people watching--there was a wedding party that came in soon after midnight, and they definitely livened the place up, starting a chant at one point and bouncing around the entire left-side section. The crowd definitely skewed younger and more 'young professional,' and I wonder if it's like that every night of the week (we went on a Saturday night). The décor is what makes this place though--there are a lot of cool taxidermied animals (I know that can be polarizing for some people, so if you're not into being in places with that kind of stuff, this isn't the place for you honestly, as there's a LOT of stuffed animals; I'm not a hunter and generally tend to be one of those people normally, but if it's done in a tasteful way and not just some 'Look! Here's a bear I shot and now I'm going to make it into a rug and waste the rest of it!' kind of thing, I can appreciate it), and the walls are made to look like a log cabin. The whole place felt cozy, and the large fireplace added to the ambiance and made it more chill than the other side of the bar, something us non-college-age folks appreciated. We'll be back to check out what this place is like during the day for a Packers or Bucks game, and, based on the amount of TVs they have lining the walls and the reasonable prices of the drinks, that doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Screen shot stating they are pet friendly. - A screenshot of Camp Bar's Yelp profile features two interior photos of the rustic-themed bar, along with ratings and reviews. The profile highlights amenities such as wheelchair accessibility, pet-friendly policy, outdoor dining, street parking, happy hour, group seating, casual ambiance, and contactless payments. The review section shows a 4.0-star rating based on 102 reviews, with a recent five-star review praising the atmosphere and waitstaff.

Recently visited Camp for about the millionth time with my husband. It's always been a fun spot. However this time didn't go so well. I enjoy taking my dog out with to places that are pet friendly. I always do my research before taking him just to be sure the places I visit are pet friendly. If they aren't then he doesn't go. Simple. Online it states Camp was pet friendly. So we walked in with our pet and are immediately greeted by a not so friendly bartender and with the immediate question of is your pet a service animal. I found that to be confusing since it states they are pet friendly. However she rolled her eyes at us and we promptly left. I highly recommend not going on a Sunday with your pet unless you want to be greeted by a rude bartender.

Bloody Mary from camp bar - Two individuals sit at a weathered wooden outdoor table, each with a drink garnished with lime and a hot dog. They are smiling and looking at the camera. The background shows a partly cloudy sky, trees, and a building, indicating an outdoor dining setting.

Free popcorn gives this bar five stars!! And the great atmosphere. One of my favorite casual bars to go to downtown mke. They also have multiple locations!

The image shows the interior of a bar with a dark ceiling decorated with multicolored string lights and holiday-themed animal figures, including a dog and a cat, on a wooden beam. Several patrons are seated at the bar, watching screens and engaging in activities. The bar area features multiple monitors, shelves with decorations, and a cozy, festive atmosphere.

This bar feels like being at home for a little redneck like me. Quirky decor but I think it's fun! The bartender who helped me was so nice. I went on a Saturday and it was packed but they were so quick to get me a drink.

Short Bloody Mary $8 deserved a generous tip for the hardworking professionals behind the bar. Nice urban sunset too! - A Bloody Mary cocktail with garnishes, including a pickle spear and possibly other vegetables, is in a tall glass with a straw. The drink is set on a wooden surface outdoors, with a city street, parked cars, trees, and a sunset sky with clouds in the background. The scene suggests an outdoor dining or drinking setting during the evening.

    Is Camp decorated for Halloween?

    Are they dog friendly inside!?

Yes! There were madd dogs up in this piece!

Are they good for group events?
