This place is great but only when the owner isn't there. Watching a drunk owner (Roger) demean or literally scream at an employee/bartender in front of you (the customer) is uncomfortable for customers and humiliating for the bartender. News flash, your customers LIKE your bartenders or they wouldn't be coming to your bar. I can assure you, the customers are not coming for the reasonably priced cocktails! Your cocktails are priced like you think you're located in downtown New York...WAY overpriced. But we pay for them because you are blessed with an amazing staff. A staff that deserves respect and decent tips and of course, not to cry. If a bartender gets a good tip, Roger, loudly and while slurring, screams that they must be giving away his bar! If you have a problem with an employee, it should be discussed in a calm manner when you (the owner, Roger) are not visibly and obviously drunk. Plus the random closing is so weird. Roger comes in on Father's day when there are many regulars there and kicks everyone out and yells at the bartender that she should have shut down hours ago. What could you be thinking??? If you don't want to be open on Father's day, then be closed. Roger, you handle things so strangely. When a customer tries to reason with you, you scream at them too and threaten them and tell them that they can give you advice when they own their own successful business. Well here is my advice as a person that runs his own business, change your ways Roger. Learn humility, try to rely on your managers to make judgement calls. If you hired them to manage, you should trust them to do so. You need an anger management class or AA or at least stop drinking in excess in your own place of business. Even when you're not violent, it's not a good look. Your bar used to be packed with regulars that really liked your staff and location. Not so much anymore. If I could give you zero stars, I would, shame on you Roger. You have already lost MANY regulars due to your outrageous behavior and today, you lost one more. To those of you who still keep going back to the Red Zone MKE for whatever reason, enjoy all of those empty stools. read more
