I ordered the turkey BLT and loved that it came on a buttery, flaky croissant--such a great touch that took the sandwich to the next level. That said, I tried the chicken katsu sandwich and it was seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had--perfectly cooked chicken, the flavors were on point, and the mayo? Everything. I came across a "new menu" on Google & was a little bummed to see it's no longer on the updated menu. I really hope they bring it back or I looked at an "old" or outdated new menu The ambiance was great--I sat in the front near the hotel, but the outdoor lounge area looked super cozy and inviting. I'd love to come back at night, when the string lights and fire towers are lit up I feel like the area would be even cozier and cuter The service was okay; I'm not sure if it's because we were sitting outside but it felt like we didn't get much service at all. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the vibe, and I'll definitely be returning.

Ran into a bartender I knew from a Milwaukee east side bar. Great drinks, an excellent bartender (Lissa), and a friendly and engaging group of other patrons at the bar. Very much give a recommend for this very local and energetic bar!

My friend got there before I did and was able to hold a seat for me and ordered a a double vodka lemonade right away. Our bartender Raphael was super laid back and overall a good egg. They hold your cards to if you're running a tab which is nothing out of the norm when it comes to a bar, but because I didn't have cash on me at the time I had to ask for my card back because I was informed that I would need it to place an order at the kitchen for food. This was a first for me to go a kitchen window to do an order but it was not a big deal for us. Now if you do pay with your card, there's like a $2 or $3 fee so just a heads up. I went with the 2 piece fried cod with french fries and my friend did the same but with the potato pancakes. We didn't wait long before we received our order and I was ready to dig in. The fries were nicely reasoned and received a nice amount with the order. The fish was flaky, crispy and with a squeeze of lemon and dash of salt it was pretty good. I did see there other specials they had for other food items and would love to try in the future. But overall not a bad place and wished I would've stopped here sooner.

The sandwich's are all under $10 with choice of side being onion rings, steak frys or tots. I ordered the half pound bacon cheeseburger and battered onion rings. The bacon cheeseburger looked great on a toasted Kiser roll with fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, pickles and raw onion. The battered onion rings were perfectly crispy with tender onion on the inside. WOW my bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfect rare with a delicious deep char broiled flavor. With the fresh toppings this is a really tasty burger to my surprise from an unassuming coroner bar. This is the perfect cheeseburger for my tastes and what I seek out in a cheeseburger so this will become my known good cheeseburger bookmark in my head. I will definitely be back when I'm craving a char broiled flavored cheeseburger and try some more of the menu. This is probably the last place in town where you can get a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger with fresh toppings and a side for under $10 so value vs delicious is outstanding.
