There's no corporate polish or image created by a marketing team, it is just a reflection of the owners. It's small but fun, simple but clean, they have great bartender and fair prices, and they have live music surprisingly often. If you are looking for a fun place to hang out and have a beer with old friends or to meet some new ones, stop in at Iron Mikes!

Gary went to jail and by Hideouts end Corey's crack smoking/ and money sterling drove Corey to health issues and selling the bar for 8 grand to Eric a Coke headed bar tender from Southbound which pissed me off one night as I'd met my fiancé from work after a packer game to enjoy some of the free food still there and because I hadn't had a drink yet they kicked me out though my fiancé was still sitting there and I'd caused no real issue. Then it was bought out by Mike who's been a bar tender at Scuttlebut Lounge he was into music and was the first owner since Scoobies I think I liked after a fashion Bill another bar tender from Scuttlebutt Lounge as far as I know I like the man and respect him enough I've had good times met good times Bill has A decent Karaoke night even during the pandemic... it's more about the people and the atmosphere And I think and feel the crowd is better. You can't really be snooty while bar tending I enjoy the company the bar keeps and recommend it.

Many regulars but they are very friendly and don't shun strangers. The owner Mario is a hoot because he loves to play bar dice for shots. He's an old Italian guy who had some interesting ties to the Balistreri family if you catch my drift There is a cute outside seating area during the summers. Prices are very reasonable for a good pour. Every second Saturday of the month they have a raffle drawing plus meat raffles which is so Wisconsin. Don't come here looking for a craft cocktail because this isn't your place Grab a stiff drink, play some games of chance and meet some very friendly people. It's worth the little drive out of your way to find this hidden gem

It's a local dive bar and clearly a regulars place but they were friendly and said hi as I walked in. No food from what I could tell but one regular offered popcorn from the self serv machine which she says was a good batch this time. I live no near this place but as a local bar and I can see it's charm. I ordered a Gin Rickey and it looked dark after explaining twice to the bartender how to make it and it was absolutely awful because he made it with JB whisky and not Gin, whiskey, seltzer and lime juice with a fresh lime doesn't mix very well at all. My bartender miss heard me and corrected my drink with no problem. If I lived in the neighborhood I would probably be a regular.

There is a small portion for outdoor seating, but it's the interior that makes this place unique. A panoply of saloon memorabilia covers the walls and ceiling in its entirety. It is an impressive site to behold. It was neat spotting some of the items that are also in my personal collection, and I could write all day about the décor, but this is a food review. My family and I dined there on 8/5 for my brother's birthday. I'll begin by saying our waitress Cindy did an excellent job as she was friendly and attentive. For my entrée, I went with the Monterey Steak Bites, which is listed as an appetizer on the menu. I'm not the largest guy, so the 6oz of grilled black angus steak was plenty for me. The bites are sauteed with white wine, mushrooms, garlic butter, and topped with a layer of melty Monterey Jack Cheese. Everything about this dish was perfect. My steak was tender and juicy, the mushrooms were abundant, large, and fresh, the garlic flavoring was noticeable but not overpowering, and the plethora of cheese was more than enough to satisfy this cheesehead. If there was any negative to it, it would be that it was so rich, I had a bit of a stomachache after, but that's why I don't eat this way all the time. Almost forgot to mention, it comes with a tiny cocktail fork that was ideal for spearing the steak and mushrooms. Phenomenal job, Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews *The plethora of drinks on the menu was also impressive

The food itself is okay. Although the menu itself is pretty big, I have a hard time finding flavorful healthier options when I go in. I've had the salads and bowls but was still underwhelmed in the flavor department, especially if I'm skipping on the dressing. Others I know think the food is good so give it a whirl, everyone has different tastes!
