This place rocks! Yummy meals, free wifi, limitless fountain bevvies (including tasty flavored iced tea). Today I brought my kid for lunch and discovered they offer one of the most generous kids' meals I've ever seen for $3. He got a decent sized ham sandwich, fresh fruit (actually fresh), a pickle, chips and a Capri Sun. $3! I ordered the caprese grilled sandwich, a chopped salad and chips and I was full! Great lunch. If you go after the lunch rush you won't have a problem finding seats. This location has super clean bathrooms (just something I like to check out). I love catching up on work here, too ... I used to love Corner Bakery. Last year I was informed by their staff that they were closing at 3:00pm due to renovation. The renovation has been done long time ago and they are still closing at 3! Last week I was so excited to go because since the early closing it's been difficult for me to eat there. I ordered one of my favorites which is "Chicken Rosa Pasta" and what a disappointment. There was no chicken whatsoever and the sauce was terrible and the bread burned. My husband had "Chicken Carbonara" and his had a couple of pieces of chicken but the sauce was soooo watery. We arrived at 9:48 it is now 10:40 and the only thing I have received my coffee have yet to receive my food. While looking for a table I could only find a high chair bar and 1 clean table while all others are dirty. Meaning food all over the floor and crumbs on tables. They need to clean more often and hurry the kitchen up. What was suppose to be a quick breakfast has turned into an all morning affair. No to impressed the gal that took my order was clearly sick, she should have been sent home sick employees should not be allowed to work especially in the food industry where they could spread their germs and make customers sick. By the way our food finally got here almost 1 hour later, I tried calling manager on the no name card I was given when asked for managers info but no answer... Oh well I tried to help. I witnessed 3 customers leave because their order was taking way too long one customer didnt even get a refund, when the employee finally brought the food out she was angry they left really?! Who should be be really angry one her or the customers that left without their food?! I had breakfast with my daughter at this location. I ordered the avocado wrap. One half of the wrap had no avocado at all on it, the other half had 2 very thin pieces on it. I got a wrap with ALOT of unseasoned scrambled eggs and spinach. That is why since thus location opened I continue to come back and give them an opportunity every other month or so to redeem themselves. I have been about six times now. I've been impressed by the quality of food for my limited budget. Service has been friendly and attentive. The breakfast menu is superb, and the pancakes happen to be the best in town. Additional options for toppings include sugar free syrup, berries, bananas, etc. I can't have sugar so that is a huge plus for me. Seating is always nice and comfortable. I like to arrange breakfast or lunch meetings here. Had I only experienced their lunch sandwiches and salads, I'd give a 4 star rating. Good for the price but not great. The place seems to stay busy and I'm afraid the dining area might get overlooked at times. During my last visit, my chair might have had a trace of pancake syrup on it or something, so I swapped it for another. This didn't bother me. Thus, I didn't inform the staff. However, I certainly will keep an eye on this and inform the helpful staff if I see a pattern. A dining area not perfectly maintained would definitely hurt the ratings of this otherwise wonderful little place. read more

From the beginning my experience was great. Clean establishment, courteous staff and good prices! The food quality is somewhere between panera and jasons deli, and is quite affordable! I recommend the broccoli cheddar soup, and the turkey sandwich with avocado, yum!! Kid friendly, and the more even threw in a free drink because it was my first visit. For this type of restaurant I would have given it a 3 1/2 or 4 stars for the food. But, the restaurant was filthy. I was there about a week ago and had breakfast during early lunch time, about 11am. It was not very busy. There was no indication that a crowd had just cleared out (unless 30 people had run out the back door as we were coming in the front). Our breakfast sandwiches were pretty tasty. But, there was debris all over the floor and all over most of the tables. We had a hard time finding an empty table that was clean. Manager and one or two employees were chatting in dining area for an extended period. One person was working to put area to rights. By the time we left most of the tables had been cleared but the floor still had significant food droppings on it. I may give this location one more try (I've been here a handful of times) but will not again if they don't take cleanliness more seriously. I cannot fault the person necessarily that was doing the cleaning. He should've had more help. read more

We tried this place for the first time today. We will definitely be back. The food was very tasty. Not overly healthy or unhealthy. I used to be a big fan of Corner Bakery but this specific restaurant in Round Rock killed my passion. The food is not fresh. I got for my son an Italian panini and a cup of potato soup. He is so sick from the food. He keeps throwing up. And while I was waiting to pick up the food I noticed the roll of transparent wrap ( cellophane wrap)that they use to wrap the bakery goods in was on the floor and the servers were just stepping over it. Later on somebody came and pick it up. We buy those goodies wrapped on that cellophane that was just lying on the floor. So gross. I am not going to buy food from this place until they trained their employees! Just be aware, cleanness is a major issue! read more

We went on a Sunday lunch and it was pretty crowded, so waiting bout 20 mins for our food was understandable. My wife and son also had ordered 2 cookies and since they tired of waiting, they ate their cookies before our food came out. They both thought the cookies were really good and moist. My wife and I decided to go with the paninis , turkey and bacon and I got the California, which is vegetarian. My son got the Uptown sandwich that looked like a blt to me. We all liked our food, we thought the bread had good flavor. I just wished my panini had more vegetables on it. The desserts looked really good, but i don't eat sweets anymore. We had a decent meal today. The kids grill cheese was great. The cookie was good. My salad was as usual. With that all being said the girl that was in the front was pretty rude. The person dealing with customers should be more sociable. She was more concerned with her phone than telling us what cookie types they had for my daughter.
