    Chicken Carbonara and Chicken Pomodori
    Anna H.

Came here because a friend told me about this choose two of any pasta, salad, sandwich or soup for $6.99! Since my mom hates waiting long for her food at restaurants, and we both love a great deal, I decided to celebrate my birthday here. The four of us each got the choose two and highlights include the chicken pompadour sandwich, tomato basil soup, the broccoli cheddar soup, shrimp linguine, and chicken carbonara. Clarence took our order and he was friendly, funny and fantastic! I liked how he told us how much it was first then after he applied the discount! He even asked me to fill out a survey and you get a free cookie! Because we had an early dinner, we were the only ones there which was nice! We all enjoyed ourselves and thank you for such a great deal! Mention this deal when ordering as it ends on 1/31/26!

I came here for the first time and got their $6.99 dinner special to go. The special comes with two half-portion entrées and a side. I ordered the carbonara pasta and the Chicken Rosa pasta, with garlic bread as the side. I really liked the carbonara pasta; it's my favorite pasta to get at Corner Bakery. It's very creamy, and the spaghetti is so soft. The Chicken Rosa pasta was good too, but it didn't pair well with the chicken. If I order this again, I'll ask for no chicken. The garlic bread was a bit burnt on the edges but still tasty. I also got a free cookie for completing an online survey. I chose the oatmeal raisin cookie, and it was delicious. It tasted homemade and was chewy, though it was sweeter than other oatmeal cookies I've had. Customer service was good. The staff who took my order was really friendly.

This Corner Bakery is the closest to my home -- but I don't visit often. Curious why? Keep reading. They were running a promo: choose any two items for $6.99 after 4pm. Such a good deal--I couldn't resist. Usually I just order online and pick up, but since I was already heading to Trader Joe's, I decided to go in person. I was planning to get two orders of the deal. When I got there, a staff member was finishing with a customer, then just left the register. I was standing there waiting, and after about a minute another staff member finally came over to take my order. I asked if I could use the deal for two orders, since the coupon didn't mention any restrictions other than "after 4pm" and "no third-party delivery." She said it was only once per person per phone per day. I wasn't sure if that was an actual rule, so I just ordered one. In the end, I asked if my friend could order online and have me pick up. She said, "Okay, I'll let you do it this time, but next time the other person has to come in themselves." The whole conversation had no smiles and wasn't friendly -- but at least I got the deal I wanted. I usually don't like interacting with the staff here. There's an older staff member, maybe a manager, who always looks unhappy or angry. Honestly, I don't think anyone working here ever seems happy. Lastly, when I picked up my order, the floor was wet. I'm not sure why they don't clean it up -- it's not so busy that they wouldn't have time. If you plan to come here, I recommend ordering online and just picking up to minimize contact with the staff. By comparison, the Corner Bakery in Burbank has much better service -- they even give out cake samples. It's night and day between this location and the one in Burbank.

Grossest sandwich every. Came super cold like out of the freezer. Paid 3.7 for bacon 1 strip of bacon and 1 ham on the " ham on the pretzel sandwich. Wtf is this trash. Food literally feels like it was frozen a night before and they put it in the bag and sent it. Even bacon was freaking cold and my office was only 0.5 miles away driver picked up and brought to me instantly. Oh and salad had bunch of old lettuce. I tried to eat but it's just gross

So far, my favorite Corner Bakery location. The service was helpful overall, the food was great, and the place is in a pretty area of Pasadena. My wife and I have been loving this two for $6.99 deal they've been running at Corner Bakery (in fact, it's been our favorite deal of the year so far). We have really enjoyed getting to know the menu, and in particular trying the pastas and the great sandwiches with the made-in-house breads. This location is no different. The place is surrounded by large windows, which makes it feel nice and open, and there's plenty of seating inside, no matter how busy it gets (and it can get busy). I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and the green chile chicken sandwich and a caesar salad. The pasta was flavorful and the sauce is generously portioned, which I appreciated. The sandwich was solid - the bread is fantastic, and the green chile and chicken worked well together. I still think I prefer the pomodori sandwich, but I'll get it next time. For $6.99, this deal feels like a steal, and we'll be back at least one more time this month. I hope they keep the deal going :) One small note - it seemed like they had a little confusion going on in the kitchen, and our cashier seemed to keep getting dragged away, or called to by other staff members. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did make the ordering process a little challenging. Other than that, loved it, and we'll be back.

Old lettuce on top of very dirty tables that are not cleaned, full of old food and filthy carpets
    Cynthia D.

This is the dirtiest corner bakery Café that I have ever been to, the floor is filthy and full of old food; they do not clean the old scraps of food off the table nor wipe them down with a clean cloth. The green salad is full of old lettuce. Was a very disappointing experience.

    Hazelnut latte
    Vendy _.

I ordered a hazelnut latte and a muffin. The staff were very friendly, everything was prepared quickly, the latte was delicious, and there's a cozy outdoor area where you can enjoy your coffee and procrastinate a bit.

With the $7.99 PICK TWO menu, it's a great meal and a great value!!! Will definitely return before the deal expires!

Breakfast for Dinner. Anaheim Scrambler with potatoes, bacon and Bacon & Egg Croissant, and Buttermilk Pancakes! Amazing!

Great food and portions! Amazing and friendly service! Thank you to the Chef for making incredible portions on the sandwich and scrambler!

    Bad avocado in our sandwich
    Jessica S.

Was SO disappointed in our meal. Hate wasting $40 on terrible food. We got the "choose two" from the menu. One of us got a club sandwich and half of the avocado was bad. We also had to send our soup back because it was room temp. It seemed like they re-plated our soups and microwaved them. We also had Cesar salad with our combos and some of the lettuce was bad... dressing had a weird fishy taste. We used to like Corner Bakery, but hadn't been there in years. Definitely won't be returning.

This place is hopping for Friday afternoon. Ordered the half and half option. Due to the lunch hour it's best to be patient. It was a little bit of wait before picking up my lunch at the counter today. Everything was made fresh, I love the harvest salad that includes all my favorites , apple bites, walnuts and cranberries. Loved it ! The pink lemonade was refreshing and tasty as well. Park in the back for optimal choices. The front parking is always taken. They take all payment options

I've been wanting to try this place, and I'm so glad I finally did!…read more I ordered the Egg Heaven and the Iced Honeycomb Latte. The Egg Heaven was honestly one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The flavors were light but still incredibly satisfying. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the egg salad was seasoned so well that every bite was delicious. It was also definitely worth the price, it came with three pieces, which was more than enough to share between two people. The Iced Honeycomb Latte was just as good. It doesn't come sweetened at first, but as the dalgona slowly melts into the coffee, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness. If you prefer your coffee less sweet, you can always ask for less dalgona. On top of the great food and drinks, the staff was incredibly friendly. Since it was my first visit, she gave us great recommendations and helpful feedback on what to order, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The Musubiyaki was okay. The Spam was cut pretty thick, which made it a bit too salty for my taste, and I think my order may have been missing the mayo on top since it felt like it was lacking something to balance the flavors. The service was friendly and the cafe has a nice atmosphere. While these menu items weren't my favorite, I'd still be open to coming back and trying something else.
