This place is popping! My son and I went for dinner on Tuesday and there was an hour wait. We put our names in, and walked around while we waited. They have full visibility into our place in line, which we appreciated. It only took about 40 minutes to get our table The place is not large, but there are some.larger tables that look to seat maybe 8-10 people. The service was super friendly, and the kitchen is fully visible, so we were able to watch the noodles being made, which was really fun to watch. The menu is very extensive and a bit overwhelming, because everything looked so good! My son got a bubble tea, and a spicy fish dish with rice. His was very spicy but good. We tried the Beef and potatoes which were quite savory but there was a bit too much fat in the meat for our taste. I ordered the Mala stir fry with chicken, veggies and ramen noodles. This is my second time going to corner 17 and I really enjoy it every time! I always start my meal off with a nice Boba drink the popping. Boba is a! Definitely join the waitlist before you come because it can be a long wait. I love the space in the restaurant. If you have a larger party, they do have bigger circular tables to accommodate you. The waiting area is a little tight, especially when it's busy so keep that in mind as well. The bao is very delicious. I always try the taro bao. No wonder this place is always crowded, it's delicious! You can watch them make their house made noodles through the glass and choose a dish from their extensive menu. Met former coworkers here for a quick lunch mid week. Was happy to finally have a chance to dine here. Luckily we beat most of lunch crowd and got a table immediately. The nice thing is that you can join the wait list online once they have all tables filled. We started with sweet and sour cucumbers which were tasty. Large bowl, easily enough for 4 people. I was not feeling adventurous and the lemon chicken dish looked highly appealing to me so I ordered that. It was very good and plenty large! However I do wish I would have looked a little harder at menu before ordering. I had a bit of order envy spotting bowls of noodles etc at other tables. Ha. I absolutely LOVED this place! My friend called me wanting to have a quick lunch and asked if I had ever been to this place. I said, "Not yet..." and away we went! Hands down some of, if not THE BEST, crab rangoon I've ever had! And their sweet and sour dipping sauce was ON POINT! We also had some egg rolls, she got some sort of beef dish, and I had some fried dumplings and your basic girl orange chicken....BUT IT WAS SO GOOD!! The chicken had a nice crispy crunch to go with the absolutely wonderful orange flavor! The egg rolls were STUFFED and incredible. The dumplings? Scrumptious! The beef dish was OK. Great flavor, just a little dry. The 4 stars aren't for that though. We had also ordered some boba tea drinks, and they were just OK. The flavor was not super prominent, but outside of that, the drinks just weren't very cold. I had a strawberry matcha concoction and it just didn't slap. With those crab rangoons, I will 100% be back so I'll have to try the boba drinks again and see if it's the same. Otherwise, I cannot WAIT to have more crab rangoons! read more

We have ordered from Corner 17 several times, always excellent. Except for this last time. The Beets Dyed Dumplings were great. However the two entrees were pretty much inedible. The General Tso's Chicken was soggy and drenched in a huge amount of syrupy sweet sauce. There was only one sad piece of limp broccoli, also drenched. The Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce was also totally drenched in sauce, that's all you could taste. The pork was just part of the sauce. Makes the whole experience fun and you can appreciate the labor into making all the delicious food. They also serve boba and wow I really enjoyed their boba. If a restaurant can win an award for how they do their takeout, Corner 17 easily takes the win. This has quickly become my favorite takeout place for any type of food. They are always running deals for free entrees through the food delivery apps, though the prices on these apps are slightly more than if you go in person. So make sure you're getting a good deal. I recently had a delivery for the Sichuan Spicy Beef Stew and Fish Filet with Spicy Sauce. They threw in a free Black Pepper Chicken since I hit a minimum. The beef stew was absolutely amazing and tasted exactly how I expected, as my family makes this dish quite often. The fish was also good, but felt the portion was slightly lacking. The chicken isn't something I normally would get, but you can never complain with the taste of free. If you have to get takeout or delivery, you can't beat Corner 17. The way they bag everything in their own temp controlled bags is fantastic. You can even get a free boba drink if you collect 10.
