    Kao Soi Curry Noodle Soup

Glad I decided to give this restaurant a second chance. First experience wasn't great, but the times after were. I usually order green or red curry but was in the mood for something else. The server recommended this soup instead and I'm glad that I gave it a try. It was filled with so many different flavors. It's incredible how they get all those combinations of flavors in one bowl!

I've come here a few times now and it's consistently great. The food is a bit on the sweeter side but they offer spice levels too. The appetizers are easy to share and the entrees are always tasty. I like the curry, pad Thai, fried rice, and their Thai tea is soo yummy! They even have a healthcare discount if it applies to you. I dine in or take out often and the service is always friendly and reliable. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Not fast enough with the photo! My partner was eating as soon as her food hit the table.

We met here for lunch and left with enough for a second meal! This place is a little hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for. There is a private parking lot but we live close enough to walk. Upon entering we were greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. The place was nice and clean but not crowded. And after being there for a bit I figured out why - the number of food deliver people was a constant stream. We order and the food came out quickly. The dumplings didn't last long as they were very good. Both of us got more food than we could enjoy in one sitting so we got to-go containers. We were keep with full waters and enough checking without it seeming overwhelming. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. I'd recommend this place but make sure you are either at home or can take a to-go for later. We will be back.

Quick and friendly service. Food arrived in less than ten minutes. Chicken satay was well seasoned and grilled perfectly, and accompanying peanut sauce was delicious - order extra. Cucumber salad was also very good. Portion sizes seemed generous and prices lower than most Thai menus. Free parking available provides convenient in and out.

I have never been in person, but have ordered from Uber eats a few times. The food has always been really good and is still warm when we get it. The kao soi it's probably my favorite thing, followed by the pad woon sen.

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis! If I lived a little closer, I'd probably go here every week. I've had the pad Thai and the pad see yu with chicken and tofu and both are so good. Sometimes in pad Thai dishes the meat gets dried out but I've never had that issue here. The service is friendly and inside is a cute cozy environment. The food does well for takeout and I love that they are open late!

Bangkok Cafe, a Thai restaurant, just opened up recently in the CWE. I was excited to try this restaurant hoping that there were more yummy Thai restaurants located in the CWE. I was pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is on the corner of forest park and Taylor and has decent parking. I ordered food for pickup and it was ready fairly quickly. I got the Pad Thai with tofu as my protein, and the Bangkok chicken. The food was still super duper hot when I picked it up! Overall the flavors on both dishes were well balanced. In particular, I was impressed with the Bangkok chicken. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was neither too sweet or too salty. The staff were polite and I would definitely come back to try more of their menu. Overall, I'm very excited that there are more Thai options in the CWE!

Decided to check out the place since it was new. The restaurant has a simple, but very cute interior and the staff was professional. Looking at the menu there wasn't anything unique that really stuck out to me that I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants. I tried the Sriracha chicken stir fry and it was good.

Exterior very confusing and a little dingy. Paint your door, you're a new restaurant! It looks dirty

I enjoyed the crispy spring rolls and the Massaman curry at this new Thai restaurant in a strip mall on Forest Park in the Central West End. They did a nice job, painting the interior walls and adding new lighting. Unfortunately, the exterior is confusing and dingy. They need to paint the front door. It's gross and it's a new restaurant! It's very confusing walking up to this restaurant. There's a banner out front that doesn't match. Also, I understand they're trying to let people know that they offer discounts for medical professionals and students, but the big sign in the window makes it look like it's not a restaurant. It's huge and the way it was written is confusing and almost like it's a medical office. There is a small parking lot so that's nice.

In terms of takeout food, I thought this place was excellent. Flavors came through and I thought everything was prepared very well. It's a brand new spot with a cozy dine-in interior as well, so definitely worth checking out and picking up food from. Favorite dishes: Duck fried rice, Khao soi

This is a very nice new Thai restaurant. Super friendly staff, very personable owners, delicious and fresh curries and noodle dishes. Reasonable prices. One of the best Thai places in central west end / St. Louis. We'll be back again!

When we pulled up, there was a line but it moved quicker than we thought. Once we got inside, we were both surprised at how small it was. While I've yet to go to Japan, it def gives off the vibe strictly from ambiance and the decor. It's small but intimate and offers seats at the "bar", as well as communal seating. We didn't get a choice and were sat at the bar. Ordering is done through the QR code and water is offered self-serve. We split an order of the appetizers: house cucumbers and karaage. I'm not a huge cucumber fan but I tried it. I preferred the one with miso as I found it to be more subtle in taste. The chicken was average and didn't wow me. We each got the chicken shoyu with no pork, no scallions and an extra egg. It felt like it took a long time to get our food. We were both surprised once we got it as we were expecting actual chicken pieces but after rereading the menu description, it was chicken oil. He was a bit disappointed as both our dishes were covered in scallions. I suggested we not send it back since it took quite a while to get our food and they were close to closing. Nevertheless, I found the broth to be tasty and full of flavor despite there being no meat. Overall, it was a solid first visit.

I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The sign is a little hard to see but when you enter you're greeted with a clean and simple interior with friendly faces and a focused menu. They do pan fried or steamed dumplings (pork, chicken, beef, or shrimp filling), with cucumber salad or broccoli as a side option. I think they might also have boba and fruit tea but given I'd already made a boba trip that day I didn't order any. My husband and I ordered steamed beef and pan fried chicken dumplings to share, plus cucumber salad. The employee gave good recommendations on which meat went best with each cooking style. Our food came out quickly. I enjoyed everything we ordered. The cucumber salad needed a little bit more oomph but it was nothing some of the chili oil on the table couldn't fix. My favorite was the steamed beef dumplings. They were super rich and savory. The chicken dumpling wasn't quite as crispy as I'd expected and the broth almost had a slightly sweet quality to it. It was good, just a little different than what I expected. I'm very glad I got to try these dumplings! This wasn't a super gigantic or hugely filling meal so I'd probably order one extra side (the broccoli looked great and I kinda wish my husband had sided with me on ordering it, lol) just to round things out if I returned.
