It was KISMET we ended up here! This was hands down one of the best Taiwanese restaurants I have…read moreever been to! My family was in the area to shop over at Crafts Way and I found Fooki on Yelp as a nearby food option. It had something for everyone in our group of seven: 2 vegetarians, 1 vegan and 4 meat eaters. The restaurant had a divy vibe, cozy and welcoming. The service was very friendly and the server was incredibly knowledgable about their menu and how what made some of their dishes stand out from what's expected. The Li Hing Mui Sweet Potato Fries are a must! They totally reminded me of my childhood and the kind of fries I'd get at the amusement park back in Taiwan. Here's everything we ordered. Every single item was a hit! -stewed egg -stewed tofu -Majiang noodles -Lu Rou Fan -Grandpa Rolling Beef -Scallion Pancake -Fooki Bao -Tofu Bao -Li Hing Mui Sweet Potato Fries -Veggie Scallion Noodles -Fooki Bowl -BoomBoom Chicken If we ever find ourselves back in Aiea again, we will be stopping in!

First, the price was pretty high compared to the amount of food they served and the flavor of their menu. The pork rice bowl had way too much rice compared to the pork, and I think I only had half of the rice to eat with the pork on top. All the foods we ordered wasn't very flavorful either and they charged 3% for credit cards. The economy is tough right now so that may explain the card charge and the portion size but I don't think I'll be going to this place again. It was good to try but wasn't impressionable!

Tuesday April 14, 2026 I haven't been here in a very long time. I used to come here a lot in the…read morepast. Plenty parking. Come early or they run out of food. I was surprised that I came here at 1:30pm and no line outside. Service is fast. I ordered a Roast Pork with Cake Noodle Plate which came out to $19.37. The plate was ready in a few minutes. I decided to sit on 1 of the gray tables outside. It looks the same and it tastes good like in the past. The Roast Pork was big pieces, soft and juicy too! The cake noodle was like eating crunchy noodle like chips. It was good! It costs more than in the past. So, is every place else too. Support local businesses. I will be back again.

Been to Mei Mei BBQ and Char Siu House in Chinatown but I like Roast Duck Kitchen the best…read more Their roast duck and pork belly in particular (my two favorite meats) are very juicy with crispy skin, and the portion of duck is not all bones like other spots. Their lunch plate is $17.50 without upgrades and comes with your choice of meat, two scoops rice, cabbage, and a gaugee. You can upgrade for $1 to fried rice or cake noodle or combo meat. The lunch plate is more expensive than the one at Mei Mei but it's twice the size and can feed two not starving people. I came around after 1230p and they had already run out of fried rice which was sad, I think the guy in front of me may have gotten the last order! So definitely go on the earlier side of lunch if you want to make sure they have everything you want. This is located on the second floor of the shopping center above Times (same level as McDonald's), just at the top of the escalators. Take out only. Place your order with the nice lady at the front, then wait until she calls your order out to pick up and pay. At peak lunch hour this can take 5 to 7 minutes. Credit card surcharge. There are a few shady tables on the second floor patio you can sit at to eat.
