I've known Bryan for 25 years or more. I worked with him 25 years ago at a local Ford dealer were he was the Transmission Mechanic. He has been a friend of the family and has been repairing all kinds of equipment for my family. Anything from backhoes, to snow blowers, to an old 1970 jeep that hasn't ran in years, he got running. I was ecstatic to hear had opened his own shop in Saline.
First of all I had a foreign car (Nissan Altima) which many shops try to do imports but don't really know how do them correctly (besides simple maintenance). I know enough about cars to know my car was losing trans fluid. Two other shops looked into it and couldn't figure out why my trans fluid level was so low. So what I knew from formally working in the car business, and doing some research, I was fearing an expensive repair.
First of all, when I called it was Bryan that answered. I told him the issue and also asked if he could let me know of anything else he found. I had a busy schedule and couldn't come when the shop was open, so he made it very easy for me to leave my car after hours. He called and gave me estimate. I was thrilled to find out my trans problem was going to be relatively inexpensive to fix. He also found I needed front and rear brakes. The price was very reasonable I decided to have him do a tune up as well. I was able to pay for the repair over the phone and pick up the car after hours as well.
The car has been running great. Interestingly enough, I had an issue where my temperature gauge needle would bounce around all over that place while driving. It was more of an annoyance than anything, so I didn't see a big deal in even mentioning it. But when I got the car back I had noticed that the gauge is now working normally! He had not even mentioned it to me and surely didn't charge me for it, but it was fixed too! This is just the type of person Bryan is. He takes good care of his good customers. I know my family and I will continue to use him, and I will refer anyone else I know to him. read more
