Awesome service!! These guys work really quick and make sure to fix your issues in the quickest, cheapest, effective way possible. When I came to pickup my car I asked Tim if he could remove my gun rack from my car (former police car), and he did for free! He made sure my car was back running top shape, and answered all my questions and gave me advice about future maintenance about my car. Alex and the rest of the team at the Mobile Auto Repair Shop located at the corner of Warren Rd. and Sheldon Rd. in Canton are extreamly helpful! They will offer expert advise reguarding repairs to your vehicle and they won't jocky you around suggesting repairs that aren't absolutely necessary. Alex helped me replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma when I was having trouble with the clutch. He also helped replace my brakes, rotors and front calipers after I had worn them down beyond repair. He stayed late after the shop's scheduled hours to help get the job done in a timely fashion and get me back on the road. The bottom line is all the work was completed for about one quarter of the cost that LaFontaine Toyota in Dearbron quoted me and the quality of the service preformed is unrivaled; It has been over a year since the service was completed and I have not had any addtional problems since! Hands down the best mechanic I have EVER been to! Tim and Alex have always taken great care of my cars. I am a person with very little auto knowledge and have had many other mechanics try to take advantage of that and overcharge me or tell me that I need repairs that aren't even necessary. Tim on the other hand has always been honest and straightforward with me. He offers quick service at a very fair price, and never tries to talk me into unnecessary repairs. Alex even test drove several cars for me when I was in the market to buy a used vehicle. All of the guys at the shop are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I filled up my tank at the mobile gas station and when I went to get in my car discovered I had locked my phone and keys inside. I was planning on calling AAA for help, but thought it would be much quicker if I could get help from next door. They said they could help and that the service fee would be $20. I analyzed the situation. If I were to call AAA, it would be a free service but who knew how long I would be waiting for them to come. I decided to bite the bullet, pay the $20, and be on my way. The mechanics stopped what they were doing and helped me right away. The process took about 5 minutes and I was happy to be on my way. What I was not happy about however, was that I had to pay $20 for literally 5 minutes of labor. My car was already at the location, it's not like a mechanic had to drive somewhere to get to my car, I feel the $20 fee was ridiculous. This was my first experience with this repair shop. If they had helped me out for no charge I would have been grateful, spoke highly of the place and potentially would have came back as a paying customer. After this experience I feel your shop is a rip off and would not recommend it. read more

I am in my mid-50's and I have never done business with a mechanic and business owner as honest and thorough, that takes the time to discuss your car maintenance issues as Tim Chan has. His mechanics are well chosen and educated to fix your car right the first time. Tim has gone the extra mile, bent over backwards for me a time or two...or three...or four... Took my wifes car up there because it would not start. He was super short fused when calling to check on the car. He replaced the starter then said it needed a new battery. When questioning him how he knew the starter was bad without a working battery he tried to throw numbers out about how many cars he's worked on and how long he's been in business compared to my age. Well the argument was settled and then he seemed like a good dude. However, the next day her car still would not start. Took it to a different guy and he found the problem right away and told us we never needed a starter or a battery. It was a wire from the radio shorting out the car. uh! People make mistakes and maybe thats what this was but we feel we got completely ripped off and spoken to like we were morons.....It is what it is but we will never go back. I would call to let him know but as I said he wasn't nice at first at all so we figure it will solve nothing. read more
