These people are soulless. I brought a car to them that belonged to a friend I was trying to help out while he was down on his luck & it needed a battery repair. Long story short, work wasn't able to be done & I acknowledge that the car was left there far too long and received only one phone call telling me to pick it up after no repair was done. I live in Canada and was trying to get a local friend to pick it up who failed me, so I came over several weeks later and they advised me it was towed and impounded. No follow up phone call to me advising this was going to take place, although they claimed to have done so which is a lie. I checked my entire phone one by one of any missed calls or messages and absolutely nothing was left advising me they were going to do this. My poor friend is struggling and now he lost his only asset he had and worked for a year (the car) plus all his personal belongings that were inside the back. The worst display of humanity I've ever encountered. These people have no heart. I cried all the way home to Canada because this car was everything to my friend had to his name and now, I feel responsible for him losing it. Awful & dishonest people. read more

Just not the same since Michael sold the business. They had my vehicle for 3 days to fix an engine problem, told me they thought they fixed it but to let them know if there's still an issue. It still acted up over the weekend so I called on Monday and they told me to bring it back Tuesday morning and they'll take a look at it. They had it all day Tuesday but was told that they "were swamped" but was told to leave it with them and they would look at it on Wednesday. After not getting an update call from them (seems to be their M.O.) I called at 2pm and was told that Ken was on jury duty and not sure when they could look at it. No apology, no "I'm sorry for the inconvenience " - nothing! Just not the same customer focus that Michael Cox had. Looking for a new repair shop. read more

Find anyone else than Affordable Automotive. He quoted me a price for fixing my exhaust leak. Took him many weeks to fix because he did not know how hard it would be to remove the bolts to get to the gasket. I paid for his time to learn how to do this. Ultimately it cost 3 times as much as the quote. Guess what, the leak was still there, nothing changed, out over $1200.00 for nothing. Said he would fix it, but did not honor his word. I have talked to several other people that had the same experience. Hard to find honest people these days. read more

I can't say enough good things about Ken, his wife, and all the staff here. They were amazing to me and my friend on multiple occasions. If they know what the problem is they will not try to sell you something that you don't need. Unlike other shops, they are willing to tell you exactly how you should go about fixing the problem. They were always courteous, honest, and up front. The only thing that I wish was different was that they were open on the weekends, other than that I can't say enough good things about the shop. read more

Very family-friendly business. Clean waiting area. Husband and wife team. Only problem is they are expensive. $40 for an oil change. And, they don't give free estimates. I walked out of the shop with a $95 bill for an oil change and a snoop under the hood. Said it might be the alternator, but no work was done. Ouch! read more
