I very highly recommend this place. There are 2 reasons for it mainly. 1. Mike (the owner) is very super good high quality mechanic that are as good as they come 2. he is one of the most honest businssmen/mechanics/people you will ever find anywyere. 3. he charges very fair prices unlike many places that one can go to that overcharge you. 4. never upsells you on anything you don't need.
So some additional background. my father was mechanically inclinded and started working on cars when he was only 12 years old, as well as getting a mechanical engineering degree and then worked as an engineer at Ford for almost 30 years. my father was a person that knew more about cars than anyone i ever met or knew except maybe 1 or 2 other people. and always always worked on every single one of our own cars in the family. in fact growing up we had always kept cars for 10-15 years all the time never having any issues ever. didn't realize he would be doing this on a lot of weekends early in the morning. but anyway, there nothing he didn't nkow about cars and what to look for. also, my father never trusted anyone ever on cars , nor did he ever hardly trust people in general for the other facotrs.
after seeing mike's work and seeing his honesty. (which he only needed to find someone becasue getting past 50 years old he was getting to tired to do as much of it himeself.
my mother, my father, and myself have always had mike do our cars, and all of us have recommended him over and over again. he always meets and greets you for the most part. and especially if it is just one or 2 parts on the car he usually knows very close to the target on what to expecct. he has even taken time to test drive my car and listen for noises just to see if I need something done.
he has always only did the work necessary and lamost never has he thought more than the part I thougth i needed owrk on needed work. and his prices are also very very fair. has worked on our family's (me, mother/fathers) cars at least 30 times since we met him many years ago. and still is doing the same great work. i just recently mentioned him to a girl who i recently knew in the past 2 years to her dad and he also said he has had work done by mike and feels the exact same way. read more
