No I don't wear a mask, my choice and civil right. Server denied service until I put on the single ply mask that has been proven to provide no protection, provided by her. Corelife is the ONLY place of business that has made such a demand upon its customers. Perhaps they should look at the years of filth that has accumulated on the lights, doors and trash area. Lets just say that CoreLife Eatery is the quick service restaurant of my dreams! I've always said "why can't there be a "fast food place" with authentic ingredients and food that is actually healthy for my body!?!" Well what do you know now we have CoreLife eatery!! My boyfriend and I shared and there was plenty to fill us up. We had the create your own green bowl and chicken and bone broth bowl. Both were exceptional! I had not problem switching out some meat and other options for avacado in the past for no charge. Now they want to charge for the substitutions. Which is a bummer. I love this place! I usually get the steak and blue cheese salad. I also love the spicy broccoli. There are so many choices! Every thing I've had here has been excellent. They have fresh, good quality food. The staff is always friendly. I wish I had discovered this place sooner! The service was terrible. They forgot to warm my soup. They where out of lots of ingredients and didn't tell us until we where done ordering and it was time to pay. We came back up when the soup was cold and they were rude and mosaic "there is nothing we can do" So we had to come up a second time. This is my favorite core life location. The management is very kind and makes sure that you have a clean, yummy experience. My dad and I like to eat lots of greens and low carb so this is usually our go to dinner spot. Its like a chipotle for salads and broth bowls. They happily adjust any menu item to your liking, just watch out for cheeses and some of the other menu items they charge extra for. The only issues I've ever had here are undercooked quinoa and tough steak. The manager came out to ask us how our meals were and my Dad let him know that the steak was tough and he right away offered to bring out a fresh order. read more

I would get a lesser score than one star if I could. I decided to go into Corelife on a Saturday afternoon because every other restaurant in the Plaza was packed and I could see from the front windows tgere were only two tables full and no one standing in tge order line. I walked in and tgere was a young girl cleaning the food dispenser area and very acknowledged me for at least 5 mins. She then turned and walked in tge back kitchen area and I still stood there for a couple of minutes until I walked over by the cash register and said hello into the kitchen. At that time a girl came out and said to me "what would you like" I advised her I have been waiting out here for a while, instead of apologizing she looked at me and said I've only been in the back for less than five minutes. At that point I looked at her and said, I've decided to go to Chipotle next door where they are busy...she said ok bye. I asked if there was a manager on and she said I'm the manager Corey. Tried out this place today. Was hopeful for "more" but it is average. It is nice having a healthy option though. They have salads, chicken/veggie bowls with grain choices, bone broth bowls (think pho) and soups. I got the Thai chicken bowl with rice noodles for $9. It essentially was a bowl of cabbage with some chicken. To improve quality, they will have to increase vegetables and protein. It just isn't worth it for the price. You can add vegetables and other proteins for a "premium." I was going to ask to add other vegetables but I wanted to see how they made it The flavor was nothing special. It missed that something extra that makes a good meal "really good," even though I added siracha, salt and pepper. My mom got the broccoli cheese bowl which is soup. It tasted ok. They give you bread and look to have nice assortment of beverages. It was clean, tons of staff and line moves fast. Staff a little gruff, one very dark-haired girl really, who was second in the food line. She made some snarky comment about another server and not being able to read her writing which I found to be a little rude. But they have to change what's in the bowls or I think the crowds will run out. read more

I've been to this eatery twice now and I really like it. Ambiance: It's got plenty of seating and good light. The booths and tables are clean and there was room for the group of 5 I was with. Service: Polite and efficient, no complaints. Food: Excellent! I had this flavored lemonade that was bright pink - can't remember the name now but was there a bit of cayenne in it? It was amazing and I wanted to buy a whole gallon. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, which is what initially attracted me to come out here, but then the meat looked good. Because they focus on knowing what their dishes contain and they choose good ones, I was able to pick a meat dish and make sure there was no dairy - they were great about telling me how the meat had been cooked, changing gloves, etc. I got a spicy ginger steak & rice noodle bowl with the beef broth and wow, it was fantastic! I would go more but it's a pain to try to get out there by transit from the downtown area (I hear a Henrietta one is opening and I'm excited - I hope it's as good as this one). read more

Awesome lunch. I have a lot of trouble finding fast gluten free dining spots for my GF daughter. Everything (except the slice of bread on the side) is GF! This is a huge deal for us! We arrived after a busy day at a soccer tournament and had little time between games. We were able to sit comfortably and eat a delicious meal for a fabulous price and make it to the next game easily. The menu is huge with almost 20 GF menu items. I had the Thai Chicken Salad. Fresh and filling (couldn'teat it all!). Tons of veggies and a sweet/tangy cashew sauce tossed with rice noodles. I washed it down with a couple of glasses of their fabulous lemonades. This place is AMAZING. The food is fantastic and I love the decor. I had the ancient grains bowl and cucumber basil lemonade. Both were delicious! Usually I am super picky about veggies but I could not stop eating this. Everything is so fresh and the staff is excellent and super friendly. I love how they make their own juices (highly recommend the cucumber lemonade and tropical green tea). Even if you are not super into vegetables, there is definitely something for everyone here. I'm into clean & healthy eating, but this place doesn't overly do it for me. I thought I ordered the wrong thing the first time, so I tried again before writing a review. I just don't love it. First I got a broth bowl, then I got a rice bowl. It's okay, nothing to complain about really. It's just that people are obsessed, and so far I don't get it. It's like, sure I like Beyoncé's songs, but I'm not in the Beyhive... that kind of thing! Oh, but, I do like the juices a lot!! I would go there just for those. My biggest complaint though... they need an upholstery steamer or something in there. This is my first time going to core life. I ordered the Korean BBQ pork but substituted the pork with tofu because I'm vegetarian. The dish was outstanding but the only downside was I thought the sauce was to hot which isn't their fault. The staff were welcoming and polite, I like how the food is right behind them. I've loved CoreLife for a while but they just added tacos and they are AMAZING. I got the steak fajita and the spicy Thai chicken tacos and they were filling and delicious. The staff are always very engaging and sweet and I love the healthy, green environment. I hope this business continues to grow and prosper because they make food that is both healthy and delicious. Really wanted to like this place, just can't. 2 bowls, one greens and one grains with 2 waters @$20.00. Too loud!! Couldn't hear the people asking question about what I wanted in my bowl....couldn't hear my dining partner trying to have a conversation with me. The food was meh....he had the Thai chicken noodle something....flat, blah, why bother eating. He added salt, pepper and hot sauce and it was slightly better. I had the beef, blue and bacon. Again...flat, blah even the blue cheese was almost without flavor. I get it now...push you along in line, make it so loud that you can't talk and the food so bland that there is no reason to linger. I am so happy this arrived in Webster. Finally a take-out (eat-in) restaurant that is healthy! We went for lunch this past weekend. My husband got the thai rice noodle dish and I got the steak/blue cheese/bacon salad with cranberry vinaigrette. The food was fresh and amazing. Everything tasted great - I literally cannot wait to go back and build a bowl or try their bone broth soup options. Their lemonade was what really sold me - I am all about my beverages and the cucumber basil lemonade was amazing - I am craving it now. We can't wait to go back. I have been there over a dozen times since they have opened and it is nice to have a healthier choice option to dine. I have tried almost every combination and have never had a negative experience with dine in or take out. I have even gotten to know many of the staff members by name. I have been there during peak times and the lines are sometime long but they go real quick. The food is fresh, it does have flavor and their portion sizes are well suited based on value vs. price. I have found Core to be just what I am looking for in having an awesome dining experience. This establishment actually saves me money, I find that buying tons of various produce from the local supermarket cannot all be all consumed and thus spoils faster. For example, I enjoy cooking with fresh cilantro but there are only so many uses and such little time to consume this fresh herb. I wish Core Eatery many more successes in their local expansions. Disappointed in this place. Lots of rules and regulations and up charges, like they are doing you a favor by taking your money and letting you eat there. Only 2 kinds of lettuce in a large salad..... Oh I was hoping to get alittle of 4 kinds... Nope not gonna happen. Requested Dressing on the side so the young girl filled the plastic dressing cup halfway. When asked if I could get more dressing? She quickly snapped...yeah you can get another one for .45. Really!? I said why don't you just fill that one up, why would you waste another cup?? (Let alone charge me .45!?) Reply from young girl... "In case something happens to it". In a tone like what she was saying made any kind of sense.....Uuuumm oookaay if something happens to it, it's going to happen regardless of the cup being 1/2 filled vs 3/4 filled. They measure out the vegetables like they are gold in TINY cups. If you want more then 4 veggies (which you going to want because you get such a SMALL amount) you have to guess what??? Pay more!! Yup you got it. Get to the register there is a loaf of bread there. So I ask... Do I get bread? Oh yes the girl at register says, it's free, and gives me one tiny 1/2 slice of bead. So I say oh just one half. No response from girl at register besides asking me for 11 dollars for the salad. 11 dollars for a salad and the sas that came with it. No thank you. All kinds of people standing around just watching others deny variety, micro measure vegetables and be rude to customers. I won't be back. The pictures on the wall look nothing like amount of veggies you are actually given. Overpriced I can deal with but Tiny portions and snotty nope. read more

First time going to Core Life (I tried during the windstorm only to find it closed due to no power- should have known!) My sisters both had soup - one the creamy cauliflower soup the other broth with noodles. My one sister said the creamy soup could have been hotter for her taste. I had the greens with ancient grains. Now I'm not a big fan of quinoa but I know it's good for you so I thought mixed with the greens, j might enjoy it better. I really enjoyed this item. The added corn, tomatoes, chi chi beans and cheese were a nice addition. I had planned on taking leftovers home but we were talking and enjoying the atmosphere- needless to say I ate it all. Very filling and reasonable. I will definitely try another salad next time- probably the steak one. I did not try the juices but the beet lemonade might be worth a try next time! I do agree with the one post- the upholstery needs a good clean ( how are people so messy?!) that won't stop me coming back! read more
