Buyer beware , they charge a $500 Troubleshooting fee if they can't find the problem in 15 minutes. This is something that they will not tell you when you call and schedule an appointment. I told Craig my water heater conversion problem from gas to electric he told me to text him if I had any questions during my install and that was on a Sunday. SDG&E cut my power line after a tree branch fell on the line that runs from the pole to my house. They instructed me that it couldn't be reconnected until I had an electrician out to repair what was damaged. Mind you it was about 1pm so I was stressed about finding someone who was available. The owner, Craig, explained in detail what was probably the issue with an electrical problem going on at my folks house when I called him in search of a good and honest electrician. Turns out he is both! He also was totally clear about his rates, so I scheduled him for the next day. Great service and availability are key when your electrical system is having issues, and you are an older couple. Craig arrived at 10 am the next day and fixed a breaker in no time. He also took the time to listen to my Mom tell the entire story about their microwave,....the switch flipping...their fridge losing power [and I am sure where the bought the GE microwave; the warranty] I wasn't there for the appt., but following it, my Mother called me and was super happy with Core Electric. Also! just like the other Yelpers have said, his rate was very reasonable! ***on a side note for those of you looking through the reviews and making a choice on electrician; beware of the one negative review for this contractor by an, "N G". This person has complained in most all of his reviews - and he even gave only 1 star to the American Museum of Natural History!! he is a big complainer and has no friends on Yelp..ok he has two.
