I reminded him they did exactly that a month ago for me, and he says they made an "exception". I was never told they were making an exception. I took the wheels/tires to Best One and they will mount/balance them - no problem. Next time I have an automotive need, I'll go anywhere except RNR. You should too. Avoid any business with arbitrary policies.

As a single mom with a full time job, I have limited time and heavily rely on my vehicle, and I trust Elstro to diagnose issues honestly without pushing unnecessary repairs. Matt quickly found the problem, ordered the part to be delivered asap by his supply truck, and reminded me I was due for an oil change and asked if I wanted to get it taken care of while I was there because he knows its hard for me to find time to get the van to them! During the multi-point inspection, he showed me that my drive belt--which had been cracked since I bought the van--was now in much worse shape. He always explains what can wait and what can't, but this time it clearly couldn't wait any longer. Thanks to the inspection and photo, I felt confident getting it replaced. He ordered the belt immediately and fixed it as soon as the part arrived. They also noticed my taillight and license plate lights were out, so they replaced those too--saving me from a ticket and keeping my van safe and reliable. I cannot express how grateful I am for their services and also appreciate them squeezing in my oil change and repairs when I was just there for a diagnosis. They have a quiet, clean waiting room. They are friendly and explain things well. No one wants to pay for auto repairs but if you have to, I highly recommend Elstro Auto!

My most recent visit was for a diagnostic test, and they told me the issue was with the ECM -- which turned out to be completely wrong. I ended up paying for two diagnoses, one from them and another from a different shop that correctly identified the real problem. After years of loyalty, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will no longer be using their services and would advise others to verify any diagnostic findings before committing to repairs.

We thought it would be best to have it shipped at that point so he found County Tire and asked if he could leave the car until it was picked up. They said yes and he left the keys with Julie at the front and he hitch hiked back to the Interstate and got an Uber to the airport. He made it home safely and now the car is on it's way home after a failed attempt by a car shipper the first time. The car didn't end up getting picked up for a few weeks, but they took good care of it while I was nervous as heck. I wish I lived locally to give these guys my business as they came through big time for me.
