I went to firestone in richmond IN . They put a liquid on my gasket & it poured into my engine. I had to replace it cost me $6,000 and even more issues . I called corporate & spoke with the Insurance claim specialist & told they denied it bc of " pre existing " conditions . Contacted the attorney general & was able to get ahold of the senior customer support specialist from corporate , Danny Tovar. Now, bc of " good measure" they are talking a settlement . Now , it's been a week & no phone call or email nothing. I called corporate & was given the run around every single time . If you're a single mom or women like me , stay away from firestone , they do not like to accept responsibility & not very cooperative . read more

Extremely expensive. I had issues with my car, they "fixed" it, 2 weeks later I had another issue, they "fixed" and now my f***ing whole engine is falling out of the chassis. How the f*** they didn't see it has damaged when they did all the previous repairs????? I spent already $2,200 in oil change, fuel injection service, spark plug replacement, fuel system cleaning and O2 sensor replacement, and I'll probably spend more than $700 to fix it this time. I had new tires put on the 5th of December 2020 - which I realize is a long time from now. I went to this location because it was recommended by my grandfather. Fast forward to July 2021 when I go in for an oil change at a different location elsewhere. I'm told they can't rotate my tires because someone stripped the locking lug nuts on my tires and they can't get one off. The last time I had any work done was when my tires were replaced at this location. Beating lugnuts with an impact isn't the way to go, and I trusted them with their expertise. The earlier repair was not done correctly. I was scheduled then told to wait an hour. Sloppy checks on the work and poor scheduling with little customer relations concern. Sloppy work in one area means sloppy work in others. I'll pay another shop to do the work correctly. I had the front end of my pickup completely rebuilt; consequently, I needed an alignment. My work schedule did not allow for an alignment at several facilities I normally use but I needed my truck for a small job at the beginning of my work week and I needed the alignment ASAP. Firestone auto care on US 40 East was the only facility who would schedule an appt in time for my job. The cost was about $25 higher than elsewhere but I needed the alignment done. I drove home an noticed a small catch as I turned the steering wheel that was not there before. When I parked the truck I noticed the steering wheel was not aligned. It should be straight with the steering column when in the neutral position. It is not. It's about 5 degrees off center to the left. Returned to the facility the next day. They looked at their printout that indicated the steering wheel was perfectly centered. All you had to do was look at it and see that was not so. ALWAYS visually check your work, regardless of what a machine report tells you.The attendant scheduled me for a 1`PM appt on that same day, which meant a 2 hour wait. When I arrived they were pulling another car into the spot and I was told I would have to wait a few minutes. After 15 minutes it was obvious the car was undergoing a full alignment, meaning my wait was to be over an hour. Why make an appt to check what a prior job had not fixed and then put another full job in at that time and lie about 'a few minutes?' The job was done incorrectly, required attention, an appt was scheduled and then I must wait over an hour as another customer who may or may not have had an earlier scheduled appt? read more

The employees here were outstanding! I was traveling west on 70 headed to Colorado from Pennsylvania when my car started to act up. I pulled over at a rest area and called them up. They fit me in immediately and replaced both of my oxygen sensors. I was off the road for maybe an hour and a half, which is absolutely amazing!
