I think one of my favourite things about coming to Cora's is the friendly environment and above and beyond staff! Many of the staff have specialized in this field for years so they know what they are doing and are speedy in their job. Located in the middle of a large plaza that hosts big box retailers such as Canadian tire or Winners, this Cora's location also hosts a large seating area. The decor is on par with all other franchise locations. Service is attentive and never had to ask for coffee refills as they visited our table and took good care of us. The food per usual had large helpings that left us stuff by the end of our meal. Sunny side up eggs were perfectly made and temperature well controlled. Juice size a bit small for the price they charged. Coffee was bland. Overall found this location like any average Cora's. Not my favorite diner as it's abundant in quantity but not the best for quality and nothing special or tells itself apart from what you can make at home. But for the standard western breakfast this place does the job with each person averaging $18 pp before tax for food and a drink. read more

I have now tried four different Cora's in eastern Canada... Overall I have to say it's a pretty solid breakfast spot. I tried the oatmeal, the spinach and cheese crêpe omelette, the mushroom and caramelized onion eggs Benedict, and the Theos skillet... All vegetarian with plenty of food to feed at least two people. If you're looking for consistency this is a good spot to stop. I will say their coffee is a little weaker than what I am used to... I was able to have a giant bowl of fruit for breakfast for roughly $20. When traveling, I find it a real struggle to eat enough fruits and veggies, so I was quite happy with this place. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Cora offers the best tasting breakfast in Windsor. They seem to specialize in French influenced breakfast, which in this case means crepes and fresh fruit. You can also get your typical north american style breakfast of eggs and meat. Most of the breakfast options are platter style with many sides ranging in price from $10-$15. The menu is huge, and there are some inventive dishes on their you will not find anywhere else. One bonus, they actually offer pure maple syrup, although you do have to pay extra for it. You will spend more here than you typical diner, but I feel that it is worth it. Coffee is pretty ok. Service when we have come here has been good, even though both times it was very busy. This is a national chain, and it definitely 'feels' like a chain when you are in there, but the food and service are top notch for a breakfast place. read more

I'm surprised people are leaving such good reviews of Cora's but aren't mentioning the prices. Breakfast food is very very cheap to make and should not cost what it does at Cora's. When I go out for breakfast with someone our bill should not be close to the price of dinner for a bunch of fruit and toast and a crepe based meal or egg based meal these things are super cheap. They must be making a huge profit off of their menu items. It's a nice place, I do like the atmosphere but overall it is a rip off and I hope people realize that fruit, bread and eggs potatoes or flour to make crepes are incredibly cheap to buy. I also am not impressed at their offer of onions mushrooms and peppers or cheese in your home fries as if it's free but it actual is like an extra 5 dollars! Onions don't cost restaurants anything people why are you paying big money for that it should be a free offer! So far, Cora's hasn't disappointed me, in Windsor and Toronto. It's a cheery and bustling place for weekend breakfast or brunch, and I've always had attentive, friendly service. In addition to standard breakfast fare, there are some interesting items, including the evil version of french toast made with a chocolate brioche (served with fresh strawberries, bananas, and cream) which I had recently at this Cora's. Save up your calories if you are interested in this, the waffles or the blueberry pancakes (also served with cream)! I like the variety of offerings, including plenty of fruit, and also recently had a very good omelette. Prices aren't exactly inexpensive - you can get a much cheaper breakfast at a Big Boy across the Detroit River - but the food quality seems high, and the service was great. A visit to Cora's in Windsor is going to be a common weekend indulgence for me, I think! read more

I absolutely adore crepes, but don't have the patience to try and make them at home, so I was thrilled to find a crepe panini sandwich on the menu - egg, ham & cheddar wrapped in a crepe, then pressed in a panini press. While I am normally a fan of Cora, this location doesn't quite seem to have it together. Toast and bacon were burnt, eggs were undercooked. Our server did not check on us or ask how our meals were.
