Good fast service by nice people. But just a word of advice, they don't accept the check-in deal or any of the deals yelp is advertising.

I needed one page printed last minute as I ran out of ink for my home printer. They printed it, then smiled and told me the charge was $3 for the one black-and-white page because $3 is their minimum. I asked them if they were joking, and they said no. I refused to pay and left without my document. I would rather walk 10 blocks to buy myself a brand new ink cartridge than pay $3 for one black-and-white copy to these thieves. Truly awful. read more

We went in for a passport photo which they advertise on their window. But after waiting in a line for about 15 minutes the person behind the counter was abusive and told us to come another time if we could not wait. When we asked how long it might be she again said to leave if we were impatient. We asked politely whether it might be 10 minutes or 30 minutes, she gruffly responded "perhaps a half hour." Since we were catching a train later, that would not work. When we acknowledged that she must have had a bad day, she said "put up with it." Having received such rude treatment we left. read more

DO NOT get your passport photos here. The first set of photos they took were rejected by the passport agency for overexposure. I went back to the store to have them retaken and the manager insisted that I pay another $5.00 (after charging $15.00 for the first, overexposed set). Terrible customer service. read more

Granted I've only been there once, but Magot was so helpful on a day when I was losing my mind and forgot my shipping label. He kindly printed it out for me and taped the package together, all with an upbeat attitude. Finally, after I left and he realized the new label was UPS not FedEx, he chased me down to make sure I got my package back. Incredible service! read more

NEVER come here! I needed to print some color documents, which were in my e-mail. I asked the guy (with a white beard) if I should send him the e-mail using my phone, and he said that I could use one of the computers to open the files. I wanted to print two pictures side by side, on the same page, so I asked for help. He said I could use the Photoshop (and didn't even bother asking me if I knew how to - which luckily, I do). I opened the images, set them like I wanted, and printed. The colors were a bit different from the screen, and as it was an assignment about colors, they had to be as true as possible. I told the careless guy, and he said they just couldn't make color matching. As I was in a rush, I just printed the way it was. When I went paying - surprise! He wanted to charge me 3 dollars for using the computer. I said it wasn't fair, because he didn't tell me beforehand I was being charged, and I could have easily sent him the e-mail using my phone. Then a lady came (I'm assuming it was the manager), starts screaming and calling me dishonest, tells me to pay the copies and go away. She even took back the envelope they gave me so my copies wouldn't get wet (it was raining). I said they had just lost a customer, and she replied "Good, we don't need dishonest people coming here!". If your need to make a copy or print a document in this area, just walk a little more towards downtown and around 92 or 93rd st there's another copy place, where people are nice, let you use the computer with no charges and even help you with color management. read more

Was on my way to FedEx when I found this place. So much closer to my place, and far more personal! I think the $3 computer fee is totally avoidable if you just send in your stuff to him ahead of time! Easy enough, and at a nice accessible neighborhood location! :) read more

Looked great, at first, but online tools are primitive (you have to go through the whole procedure including contact information for every document). They don't offer "finishing" like stapling. They don't collate multiple documents (just hand them to you in a pile). Plus, the staff was rude, and they only printed one copy rather than four copies of one of my documents. I'll be looking for another store when i next need to print and make copies. And, isn't it suspicious that after every 1 - 2 star review here, there's a 5 star one? read more

I just left from this place on the UWS. The young person at the front had an issue with me as soon as I walked in I guess because he was rude from beginning to end of the experience. The only nice person was the lady that spoke after him when I had questions. I used the computer and printed out two papers from the computer I used. There was another older gentleman sitting next to me that was printing a few things at the same time and we were leaving at the same time. Thank God we did. When I told the guy at the front that I printed two pages he said they didn't come out - I mean how can two pages (that I heard printing) did not show up. The man in front of me was so kind and I asked if I could look through his papers to see if they printed in there. Thank god they did - since this was sensitive information that I needed printed immediately. The guy working there didn't care at all and he certainly didn't know how to be gracious, helpful or considerate at the time. I live on 92nd & West End. Up until today, I had been going to FedEx Kinko's on Broadway & 79th to print documents while I wait for my massively corporate employer to send me replacement ink cartridges for my printer. That seems like a long walk for something that I should be able to do closer. So I popped into Copy Experts. I told one of the two employees what I was looking to do. He told me how much it would cost, and then told me to sit at computer #2. When I walked over to computer #2, it had a log-in screen. Before I could say anything, he said "The screen is black, right?" I said "It has a black background, but it's asking for a time code, and a user ID and password." He said "I'll be right with you." He then proceeded to talk on the phone for however long it takes me to try the same board in Angry Birds and fail six times. There was another employee there, who seemed to do whatever he could to keep himself busy so that he wouldn't have to make eye contact with me. I was one of only three customers in the establishment, and they had two employees. That's one employee per 1.5 customers. You're telling me you can't come over and punch in a few numbers so that I can print my documents? After my sixth game of Angry Birds, I got up and walked out. Then I walked to 79th and Broadway to print my documents at FedEx Kinkos. read more

SHADY practices! They quoted me $75 for 2 day FedEx for a 1lb package, which sounded insane. It looked like their screen said 7lbs and when I questioned it they said it was the rate for 1lb and that I could try USPS for a better rate. I went to an actual FedEx location and paid $22. I'm an artist, so need high quality prints, enlargements, collage layouts, etc. and Lee is the only person I trust to always "get it right". He's also friendly and really helpful. I have gone to Copy Experts many times for business-related printing and shipping, and they do do a very good job making things look neat and professional. However, in my experience the woman who seems to be in charge is extremely rude, gruff, and unhelpful if you're having a problem or dare to ask a question. I will not be using their services again because I need to make copies and ship things by Fedex frequently and do not enjoy being scowled at every couple of days. However if you only need a quick print job or a fax once in a while, this place gets the job done. read more

Every time I go into the store on 90th the people are rude, no one smiles, and recently I had an order that was a bit complicated (double-sided copies, oh my) and it took almost 3 hours - they kept reminding what it was going to cost - they lost my binder and when I went to pick it up I wasn't acknowledged until I started yelling - THE WORST! read more

Copy Experts at 90th Street and Broadway told me the job was ready to pick up. It wasn't. They were unable to do the job and didn't tell me. I wanted six copies, coil bound, with red covers. On the phone they said my job was ready and quoted the price. Only after I got there they told me they didn't have red covers and "weren't going to bind the copies" no explanation why not.
