Pains me to give such a low review but this experience was not it. I went right at opening bc Simple Simon didn't have specialty coffee. I was maybe the 3rd order and my drink took over 20 mins. I got the bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte and it was a weak espresso, a little on the sweet side and not even full to the top for the "large" size which is standard 16 oz. $7 They also have a 12 oz for $6.50

Salted Vanilla Latte

I tried the iced salted vanilla latte. Coffee was flavorful, but a little too milky for my liking. I would try it again, but next time with an extra shot of espresso. The cafe was clean and had plenty of seating options. They had one worker who was very nice, but felt like she needed someone else with her for safety reasons.

This coffee shop is located a block away from Riverside's Mission Inn, on Main Street, within a cove of several shops known as the Emporium. The interior has several tables along the front window and a couple of cushy chairs near the entrance. There are additional tables located just outside the entrance, within the covered area of the Emporium. It's a quiet and comfortable space. I ordered a coffee from their house specialities - a hot maple bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte. I also chose a slice of carrot cake from their small pastry case. The woman taking my order seemed rather glum while the barista was quite pleasant and kind, bringing my order to the comfy chair I was snuggled into (normally they just call your name to pick up at the counter). The carrot cake was very good; moist with an icing that wasn't overly sweet. The espresso was sweetened by the maple and a slight taste of vanilla was discernible. I couldn't detect any bourbon flavor though. I think it got lost amidst all the other flavors; I wondered if perhaps they used bourbon-maple syrup? The light taste of cinnamon was within the foam. It may sound like I had issues with the latte, but on the contrary, I really enjoyed it as it was quite unique.

Great local coffee shop. The ladies working were friendly and worked quickly to make all the orders as they came in. I had the sweet shaken espresso and a chocolate chip croissant. The espresso hit the spot and gave me the pick me up I needed. The croissant was warm flaky and delicious. There is a large seating area inside and a few spots outside. Would come back again.

When you're in the mood for Not just another coffee. Coffee ingredients and recipe have that balance are unique to those who are naturally gifted with their taste buds. Foodies know what I mean;-) Owner takes care in choosing such delicious pastries to pair with the liquids. Today, I tried the pistachio latte and muffin. Having an elevated experience. ONT overnights just became my favorite.

I absolutely loved coming here. I saw the name was immediately intrigued and getting to read the meaning behind it was great. The coffee was delicious. I mean DELICIOUS. And I had the ube cheesecake which was also amazing. From the staff, to the music, to the vibes, I love this place. Can't wait to come back.

Finally had the chance to check out copper Goat coffee and i really enjoyed it. It's a really cozy coffee shop located middle of downtown. My friend and i were able to find really close parking and they offer an hour free. The have an extensive menu and it was hard to choose what to order. Luckily the employee was able to offer lots of insight and advice on what was best to get. I went with the Tiramisu latte since i wanted something sweeter and my friend ordered the maple bourbon vanilla latte. I really enjoyed mine i thought the coffee had a great taste an the foam added a perfect sweetness. My friend said hers was more coffee forward and would have preferred slightly sweeter. Another thing i appreciated is that we weren't charged extra for oatmilk and they also have a point system where you get 5 dollars for every 50 spent. Overall i really enjoyed it and i look forward to going back when i get the chance.

stayed in the area for the weekend and tried a lot of different coffee shops within that time and this was def my favorite spot! coffee was not too sweet, not too creamy and not watered down at all! so so so good and the drinks came out quickly:)

First time trying, will def be back to try again. However I did order my daughter a kids temp hot coco. It was extremely hot good thing I checked before giving it to her so I asked for a cup of ice. It just tasted like regular milk not really worth the price. I had gotten a maple bourbon cinnamon iced latte. That was so good! I love that they don't charge for oat milk. Only down sound to this is that our drinks took a while to get and mine could have been filled up more, that's just my opinion (took pics before I drank it)

Amazing coffee! I've been looking for a spot that has maple lattes and this was it! Staff was very friendly as well. The ambiance is nice, very spacious and few tables to

Great coffee shop in the heart of downtown Riverside! I was able to walk from my hotel which was very convenient. Service was friendly and quick, I got a caramel latte (half sweet which was plenty sweet), and a pistachio muffin that has pistachio filling inside. The cafe is very spacious with some tables inside!

I didn't want to enter any cafe very small/ with petite tables or judgement if I sat down for 1.5 hr to work on my computer. I bought a sausage croissant which was just ok, but still a nice quick breakfast item. I was able to sit in a comfy chair with an outlet source & table to conference in my meeting. I was left unbothered & comfortable the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. There are several lounge chairs, tables & areas to space out to work, read, lounge, etc! I would certainly return another day to try out their coffee menu and those earl grey lavender scones (wish I saw those first!!) The barista was kind & the atmosphere very pleasant!

SERVICE here is VERY BAD!…read more The service at Back to the Grind was genuinely one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had. While I was in the middle of placing my order, an older gentleman wearing glasses abruptly walked away from me mid-conversation to speak with someone he knew. No acknowledgment, no "I'll be right back," nothing. I was left standing there confused and waiting while they casually chatted amongst themselves. At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

It looked like it was made with love. The egg+cheese sandwich absolutely carried the experience (seriously, give that thing a raise), and the matcha held its own as it was refreshing! Now the not so great... the huevos rancheros were unfortunately very, very, salty.. but I didn't want my money to go to waste so I made myself eat it.. The coffee was bitter, pretty but bitter. I usually like bitter coffee but this one caught me off guard haha The Customer service wasn't great.. The server asked if we needed anything else but was already walking away before we could answer. Overall, the matcha and egg+cheese sandwich was the best part from this experience. I would recommend those two.

Honestly, the line is mainly due to the customers taking their sweet time while ordering. You might have a hard time finding a table to sit at inside, but they also have outside seating. Price-wise you'll probably spend around $15-$20 per person. I highly recommend their grilled chicken sandwhich. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, all on a toasted sourdough bread covered with pesto and cheese. For the side I typically get the Italian pasta salad, which is always delicious. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

Employees have been friendly each time and they bring out food to you on the patio. Unfortunately the location is increasingly a problem at least while sitting outside. Lots of homeless people around some on drugs and some unstable. Last time I was there a homeless man threw an orange at someone who was eating next to me for no reason at all. It's not the first time something happens that feels unsafe and although there's not much the restaurant can do about it it does affect the ambience
