It's a pretty nice and relax coffee shop.... Once you enter, it's a pretty relaxed vibe... nice place to have coffee and some pastries.... The staff is nice and I saw probably the owner helping out... and a cute doggie to boot. I got their reco of maple boutbon vanilla cinnamon latte.... the cinnamon didnt overpower it... pretty nice since i did lower the sweetness a bit and also chose oatmilk... Very nice. In anycase, would definitely be back here

This is a great spot for some coffee! Ordered their Ethiopian pour over along with a pistachio muffin and both were really good. Coffee was fragrant and the pastry was fluffy with delicious pistachio filling. Service was helpful in going over suggestions and giving us our order. The cafe is clean and nicely decorated, one of the tables had a chess board that me and my wife enjoyed. It's great to see an amazing coffee spot in Downtown Riverside!

Pistachio affogato

This place was so classy and cozy. I loved their seating and the service. The staff was well knowledgeable on their pastries and coffee and took their time with my order. I came in for their cherry affogato but it was not available so they offered me a pistachio affogato , and I love pistachio, so this was a perfect alternative for me. They even let me keep my glass cup which was real nice of them . The seating area has two areas and it feels very relaxed. There was no restroom though.

Right at the edge of DTR and next to the convention center, it's easy to spot. There's multiple businesses and eateries next to it, under an archway. The cafe has huge floor to ceiling windows and inside, it feels light and breezy. It is has a modern, contemporary design while having a uniqueness. There were a couple people inside drinking and socializing, not busy. I came an hour before closing. I got in line and waited. The barista was busy and hadn't noticed me. She apologized to me once she saw I had been waiting but I didn't mind. I ordered a dragon fruit matcha. I asked if it was only seasonal and she said yes. She recommended me the mini bomboloni cocao, which she said were like the Ferrero chocolates. I ordered those as well. I didn't wait too long for my drink. The barista asked me if it was fine and asked if I needed it customized. I said, it tastes good. The foam tasted almost like a strawberry and the matcha was decent. My pastry was still being toasted. Once I had it, I saw it was like a chocolate filled bread bite. Very good! Happy with my experience and I would definitely come back again!

Anytime I'm in Downtown Riverside, my first stop is always Copper Goat. Their coffee is just consistently good. I usually stick with my go to, sweet shaken espresso (still fantastic, by the way), but this time I branched out and tried one of their new featured drinks. I went with the salted honey macadamia latte, and it was definitely interesting in the best way. It hits that sweet and salty balance, and the saltiness grew on me with each sip. My flavor profile usually leans sweet when it comes to espresso, so if you're someone who loves a little salty contrast, this one's worth trying. We also grabbed some mini bomboloni cream pastries, which we were told were imported from Italy, and they were delicious. They reminded me a bit of beignets, and the cream filling was fantastic. I did get a cronut too, but that one missed the mark for me. It was a little stale and harder than expected. I was hoping for that crispy, flaky bite. Overall, Copper Goat is still one of my favorite stops in the area, especially for coffee.

Vanilla Latte

Great service & got some coffee knowledge by barista Rockee (forgive me if I spelled that wrong.) They were super helpful & I walked out with some amazing coffee on top of that. Will definitely be returning. I ordered a vanilla latte with a carrot cake bar & it was delicious. As a new coffee drinker I would say this set the bar for me as I prefer a less sweeter coffee & it was just right. "I will be back!" -Terminator

Maple Bourbon Vanilla Cinnamon Latte (added vanilla-cinnamon cold foam) with Oat milk alt.

This place is the light at the end of a tunnel! I picked it because I'm staying next door at the hotel. And because it has Goat in the title, I skipped past the other shops, obviously. The Barista was very sweet and recommended the Maple Bourbon Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. She explained that although it may sound almost too flavorful, it's actually perfectly sweet. So I ordered the bigger size, she called it a - reserve? I could be wrong but the large let's say. I can't believe how delicious it is, I couldn't even stop myself to take the picture first. I chose Oatmilk and added the Vanilla Cinnamon Cold Foam on top...I will never be the same!! How I will survive living so far from this gem i don't know, but believe that if I do find myself in this area again, maybe with one delicious intent, I will be stopping by The Copper Goat. I wish I got the Barista's name, you were wonderful!!

I came on my lunch break at 5pm while they were cleaning. Didnt see the closed sign on the floor they politely said they were closed at 4pm and even gave me a free ice coffee for the confusion. Best people best coffee place. So nice and clean. This really warmed my heart today.

carrot cake and hot maple bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte

This coffee shop is located a block away from Riverside's Mission Inn, on Main Street, within a cove of several shops known as the Emporium. The interior has several tables along the front window and a couple of cushy chairs near the entrance. There are additional tables located just outside the entrance, within the covered area of the Emporium. It's a quiet and comfortable space. I ordered a coffee from their house specialities - a hot maple bourbon vanilla cinnamon latte. I also chose a slice of carrot cake from their small pastry case. The woman taking my order seemed rather glum while the barista was quite pleasant and kind, bringing my order to the comfy chair I was snuggled into (normally they just call your name to pick up at the counter). The carrot cake was very good; moist with an icing that wasn't overly sweet. The espresso was sweetened by the maple and a slight taste of vanilla was discernible. I couldn't detect any bourbon flavor though. I think it got lost amidst all the other flavors; I wondered if perhaps they used bourbon-maple syrup? The light taste of cinnamon was within the foam. It may sound like I had issues with the latte, but on the contrary, I really enjoyed it as it was quite unique.

Bianca C.

I got an iced chai and love that I could add vanilla to it and switch for oat milk with no extra charge! Super nice environment and employee was very sweet.

Salted Vanilla Latte
Tiffany T.

I tried the iced salted vanilla latte. Coffee was flavorful, but a little too milky for my liking. I would try it again, but next time with an extra shot of espresso. The cafe was clean and had plenty of seating options. They had one worker who was very nice, but felt like she needed someone else with her for safety reasons.

Amazing service and yummy coffee! I went to Copper Goat today because I love trying out coffee places. Copper Goat did not disappoint. My Iced Honey Lavender Latte was amazing (finished with locally sourced honey) and the owner Ruby was very sweet and lovely. Its a beautiful space. Check it out!

Dragon fruit matcha, sweet shaken espresso with oat milk, lemon bar, cannoli chips and dip
Laura L.

The ambience is bright and welcoming. The service was personal and friendly. We ordered a dragon fruit matcha, sweet shaken espresso, lemon bar, and cannoli chips and dip. The matcha was not overly sweet and the cold foam was fun. The espresso had perfect coffee flavor and was not too sweet. The lemon bar was perfect. And I would drive back out here for the cannoli chips alone. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this coffee shop!!

What I liked most is that they kept the nostalgic feel of the 1920s building instead of turning it into another place that looks like it was designed by the same person who decorates every new apartment complex in California. The old-school character is still there, and it works. It's laid-back, comfortable, and just a good place to grab some food or coffee and hang out for a while. Basically, if the 1920s had Wi-Fi and better coffee, this is probably what it would feel like.

I have also loved their coffee, smoothies, and vegan breakfast sandwich for several years. But I no longer plan to support this business for their horrid customer service (which has consistently been terrible over several years) and terrible consideration for acts in their booked events. Back to the Grind used to be an IE staple for live shows and DIY culture. My boyfriend tells me stories of how him and his dad used to play basement shows here. Now, Back to the Grind is the kind of establishment to cancel your small gig to replace it with something more profitable. Clearly, through their event booking and customer service, there is zero love or passion for what they do anymore. It is all business, and they do not care about your support or your time. They do not care about business agreements and fostering a community space. I have been here several times over the years for shows. My friends have *played* shows here. Even past café hours, every worker here is simply miserable. It is a shame to see what this place has become over several decades. I often miss coming here but refuse to step foot after a group of friends were done so dirty by the business, along with my personal negative experiences here. Their food and drinks are simply not worth it.

A 10/10 Cafe Experience!…read more Qamaria is genuinely one of my favorite spots! Everything about this place makes me want to keep coming back, from the comforting atmosphere to the welcoming customer service. You can tell why it stays so busy! On my latest visit, I got the baklava, pistachio milk cake, an iced matcha latte, and the Araysi smoothie. Everything was so good, but that Araysi drink was seriously amazing! I would go back just for that alone. The desserts were delicious, the drinks hit the spot, and overall, everything was a 10/10. I also really love the atmosphere here. It's cozy, inviting, and a great place to unwind. They welcome people who want to study or work remotely, which makes it even better. The only downside is that it can get pretty busy, so sometimes there's a long line or finding a place to sit can be a little challenging. However, I completely understand the popularity because it's such a great environment once you get settled in. Between the amazing drinks and desserts, great customer service, and relaxing atmosphere, Qamaria is definitely a favorite of mine. If you're looking for a cozy cafe with delicious treats and a welcoming vibe, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Five stars from me!

The music also adds to the immersive cultural experience. I love the trays that they use to serve the food and coffee, they are a beautiful detail. 3. The coffee and food is exceptional. My favorite has been the Qamaria Latte, my sister loved her pistachio latte (they use real pistachios to create a pistachio paste to use in the latte). I have tried the honeycomb (so good, my boys loved this one), pistachio cheesecake (well balanced and light for a cheesecake it doesn't leave your stomach feeling like you ate something extra rich), pistachio milk cake (perfect!) and others. It can get a bit pricey, but the quality of the ingredients and food makes it worth it, especially if it's just one or two people. I probably won't take all three of my boys next time but maybe for a fun outing with one of them.

Do I actually love coffee, or do I just love cream and sugar with a little coffee mixed in? Apparently, there's a reason I've always been a latte girl! All jokes aside, I genuinely enjoyed the experience and learning more about coffee, even if my taste buds weren't quite prepared for the bitterness. I'm not sure I'd do another black coffee tasting, but I'm glad I tried it! As for Arcade itself, I absolutely love this location!
