We got lucky, because steak is not on their menu, however, ribeye was tonight's special I ordered the prime rib, my daughter ordered the ribeye. To begin, the service was very good. We only waited about three minutes before a table was ready for us. The server was very nice. The food itself looked delicious. It was cooked Exactly to order. The prime rib was very tender, the horseradish was extra creamy, and the au jus was not too strong. The ribeye steak was also cooked to order. You could really taste the wood cooked flavor in the meat. It was very tender, easy to cut with the knife. The garlic potatoes were outstanding. The only negative experience in this restaurant was my prime rib, was partially served over the top of the potatoes. It did not ruin the flavor, but it could be an issue for people who like their food to be separated. Also, the broccoli was good, But slightly under steamed. The food is priced higher than other places I've visited, but the quality and flavor was worth the cost . Definitely a great experience. read more

I dined here for a quick lunch on Friday, at the bar, and the experience was good. The bartender started getting a bit busy but was able to manage. Food-- (7/10) - I had the Stanford Cheeseburger with the shoestring French fries. The burger was cooked perfectly, to my liking (medium ), and was really good! However, the shoestring French fries could've been prepared a bit better-- most were hard and not as soft. I feel that shoestring fries can be a risk because some may overcook them and that's what it was giving. Ambiance--(9/10) - The bar vibrations were nice for a Friday afternoon, lunch crowd, with subtle jazz music playing in the background. I used to visit this restaurant weekly, pre-Covid. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. My friends and I decided to have lunch at Copper Canyon over the weekend and it didn't disappoint. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer and I had the chicken pot pie. My friends ordered fish tacos and shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. Visited Copper Canyon Grill earlier this week for a work lunch and had a great visit! After our group arrived, we were quickly seated and greeted by our server. Our server was super attentive our entire visit and the staff was very quick with service. I ordered the crabcake sandwich, which was delicious! There was little filler and it was mostly lump crab. The fries were thin, but crispy. The rest of our party also enjoyed their food options as well. Hope to be back in the future to try some of the other food options! Ms. Day was a great waitress: very efficient snd friendly. She served the food promptly and hot. I had the rotisserie chicken with broccolini and spinach. The chicken was well-seasoned, if a little salty for some palates. I loved it. The vegetables were perfectly cooked with a little seasoning and maybe some butter. My friend had the meatloaf. The portions were so generous that we both walked away with enough leftovers for anoher meal. Even the hostesses were engaged. These folk are well-trained and hopefully well-paid! Then a server who disappeared and reappeared at 15 minute intervals, prompting us to stop another employee who was walking by and ask for assistance when we needed some additional sauce. As soon as he cleared our entree plates, he plunked down the check, and disappeared. No offer of dessert, no "how did you enjoy your meal?" If your principle is quantity over quality, copper Canyon Grill restaurant is for you. Their servings are huge, but unfortunately, they are not savory and delicious. I ordered a full baby back rib only to discover that the meat was just very thin and almost looks like it was synthetically added to the bones. I wonder why everyone leaves the premises holding a leftover container. Not recommended. I was at Cooper Canyon on Saturday afternoon this was once one of my favorite places to dine at. We got seated in 10mins, but the cornbread appetizer was extra hard and the next one was cold. The previous reviews don't do this establishment justice. We were away and staying on Landover, MD looking for a place to eat. This was listed on the Marriott in room entertainment system, which isn't always great places to eat. Well finally this one was. We were greeted by Mallory who was very nice. When we entered the restaurant live Jazz was being played while we waited. We were seated in under 5 minutes. Our waitress Laysia C was courteous and attentive. The hiccup we had was there were no beers on tap which the menu had several. We started with the cornbread which had a great kick to it. My son and I had the crispy chicken sandwiches which were very good and my wife had the rattlesnake pasta minus the smoked provolone which was the right move, it was excellent. My experience had was amazing. Our waiter Henry was so friendly and welcoming. He introduced himself and told us all about the drink and food specials. We ended up getting the fiesta egg rolls (I forgot to take a pic)... but it was very delicious. Very cheesy, and full of different flavors. I didn't try the sauce it came with but my sister loved it. I ended up getting the Chicken Parmesan with spinach and my sis got the rotisserie chicken salad. Both meals were very flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes were great also, we both we only able to finish half of our meals. Henry did suggest dessert but we were already full from dinner. My first visit to this Copper Canyon was THEE worst. I had a taste for the fiesta egg rolls and decided to place an order online for curbside pick up. I open the text message and click the link to inform them I was there. After 10 minutes, nothing. I look on the sign in front of the parking space and see another number to text my arrival. I do so and wait. No one comes. At this point, I've been waiting 35 min and two other cars arrive. I call the restaurant to inform them I have arrived. The hostess assured me someone is coming. Another 10 min go by and nothing. Just when I prepare to walk in and ask for a refund, a waitress comes out. She gives the other two cars their food and then mine. No apology and no acknowledgement of any kind. My egg rolls are ICE COLD. I will not return. I've never had a bad experience with the Copper Canyon franchise. GLOWS: - Wood fire rotisserie chicken is a go-to! - Drinks pack a nice kick ( Fleur-de-lis and Flowering peach specifically) -Servers were accommodations and effective in their work GROWS: - The green bean side dish was a little undercooked and could benefit from being more crunchy - Larger parties could be handled better- the restaurant did not properly accommodate a large party due to covid--- understandable if they have a seating limit, but they noted they would give outside accommodations, but they did not causing the party to split across the restaurant entirely. - The server switched near the end of us dining. The restaurant was steady but pretty empty. Social distancing was being observed and masks were required walking in the restaurant. I had the ribs. They are amazing! I picked the French fries and spinach as my sides. They were very filling. Major stars for free parking. Also, I had left my expensive eyeglasses there.
