The other bartenders are just as friendly and provide great service as well. The place is small but has a really chill vibe. They have a jukebox, which is perfect for me since I can play my metal music. The bathrooms are clean, the drink prices are decent, and the crowd of patrons is friendly. The only downside is that they only accept cash, and I'm not a big fan of the Zelle option with the $5 fee. Aside from that, I still highly recommend this place for a laid-back night out with good service and a great atmosphere.

Most people contribute to a pot luck feast that spans the wide world of food, from hot dogs and chili to baked ziti, tacos, meatballs, fried chicken, Chinese food, and on and on -- including some amazing homemade clam chowder from Mike The Mailman. Bartender Natalie did an amazing job of handling the busy crowd with speed and smiles. There were a couple of other staffers on site to watch the game, and they jumped in when she needed a hand with this or that, but for the most part Natalie captained the bar single-handedly for the duration. Kudos to her. It's true, Super Bowl only comes once a year, so other game days don't have the pot luck feast -- Sugar Mill doesn't have a kitchen, though they're happy to have you bring in whatever food you like and eat it there. Food aside, the crowd and the service are always just what you want, making it the perfect place to relax into at game time as Basketball enters the home stretch and baseball steps up to bat.

They have a back gate at the patio but it was locked. First off, the place was packed. It's been a while since it's been like that. Or maybe I've only been coming during happy hour. Also, it's somewhat seems to be a thing where you have to ask for the happy hour menus. Anyways, their items are pretty decent for prices. Drinks specials and some of the food items are worth it. We alway get a pitcher of beer for the table to share. Food wise, a couple of the ceviche. Either fish or shrimp and that's served with a tostada chip. For 12.00, it's pretty decent in size and quite tasty. Between the fish or shrimp, I prefer shrimp better. Also, two street tacos for 5.00 with many choices of protein. Lastly, the loaded fried nachos for 12.00. Let's say when they mean loaded, it was loaded. That too comes with your choice of protein which I went with the al pastor. The food was great. Reasonable price and well portioned. Plus the chips and bean dip to start off. They also accommodate some salsas with chips which is nice. Before it would alway be the bean dips and you would have to ask for the salsa. If you want fresh guacamole, they have someone that will prepare it table side to your liking. This visit, there was also the mariachi band walking around asking people if that wanted any requests. The service was great, the staffs all are amazing and friendly. Some familiar faces which is nice.

This bar has been bookmarked on my yelp page for over a year now. I finally had a chance to check it out last night. It was my roommate's birthday so we just wanted to get some drinks and hang out since the real party will be next weekend. The cash only aspect of this place is not so bad. They even have an ATM inside. Drink prices are quite good. I think our import beers were 3.75 each. The funniest moment of the night was the look on the bar tenders face when the birthday boy ordered a cocktail. I mean, on one hand whatever the hell he ordered was really easy to make so it is not like he was asking a lot, but at the same time I couldn't help but laugh a little because he was seriously the only person in the bar that was not drinking beer. Another thing about the beer; they serve draft beer in these cool mini pitchers. Most people were using them as large mugs. The only problem is the lack of ale. They had a perfectly adequate selection of bottles but if you want a draft beer you have to stick to American lagers. :( Shuffle board table is Awesome, just wish they had two of them. It's great that this bar has so much to do and it still feels fairly open. I'll come back in the winter when the fire pit is going. It's a pretty cool place. read more

Copper Bucket is a great place, either for a silly time with friends or a quiet drink by yourself. If you're waiting for your table at Salsa & Beer, you can pop over for a quick few and you'll most likely find yourself coming back over after your meal. They have the big bottles of Newcastle and $5 pitchers of certain beers. The owners are very friendly. The regulars don't give you the stink-eye if you're new. The 'tenders are no-nonsense. There's plenty to do when it comes to entertainment. This is an overlooked little corner of the valley, and the Copper Bucket is definitely a highlight. Oh, I saw that another review mentioned that the jukebox doesn't have a great selection. It's a TouchTunes jukebox. You have access to a great deal of music, and can access it from the app on your phone or by putting money into the machine. read more

Its family owned so you can never go wrong, Russ the owner of the place is super nice, he gets you what you want with the quickness. The place is pretty chill and if you want to dance and all the shinanigans I wouldn't recommend this place. Its more of a lets just chill kinda night. The DRINK ARE SUPER CHEAP we recently went for my brothers GF's bday late at night and for $20 we got an IRISH CAR BOMB, PITCHER OF BEER, 2 CRANBERRY AND VODKA'S and a LONG ISLAND ICED TEA. now tell me where the hell you'll beat those prices. NOWHERE that im aware of. Its cash only so dont bring your debit, they do have an ATM but ofcourse it charges you. TOTAL DIVE BAR!... BUT A GREAT ONE!! There's a few American Beers on Tap that go for $4 bucks for half a pitcher, and a few different bar games. Darts, Shuffle Board (FUN!!!), and Pool.. and it's really clean, yet kinda cheesy.. I love it since it's so close to my house and cheap. You can definitely take a bunch of friends, get trashed, and have an awesome time @ this bar. It's definitely somewhere I can go when it's 11:30 @ night and have fun. LOVE THIS PLACE! Super cheap drinks, jukebox so you can play your own tunes. The crowd changes depending on what day it is, but there is usually the same people playing pool. I've never had any problems here, but i know people who have.....and every time a fight breaks out, it's the PEOPLE, NOT THE BAR. Darts and shuffleboard always make it a good experience.....but the cheap drinks makes it the PERFECT pre-party spot. AT LEAST check it out once, im sure you wont be disappointed, especially if you bring your friends and take up the bar. read more

I work in Thousand Oaks. I have friends in the Valley. All of these I use as excuses to stop by the Copper Bucket. Pitchers of beers for $3. Darts. Shuffleboard. A shuffleboard! Interesting people. This is not your "impress a gold digger" type of bar.... Like everyone else says, its a chill spot. CASH ONLY, and that might sound inconvenient for those who like to open tabs, but you have to keep in mind that most drinks are under $3. Yes, this is not a typo Under THREE BUCKS. Love this place! the drinks are cheap the owner is sweet! and all their bartenders. I've been coming here for maybe over a year and I always have a good time. To top it off I can watch sports here while I get a drink ! AWESOME. Just remember CASH only unless you want to pay a fee on the atm machine.
