I informed her that I'd need a few minutes as this was our first time. She gave us a run down of what they offered and said that they can essentially make any custom drinks you desire! She was very kind and gave us some time to decide what to get. I love a good strawberry matcha so I gave that one a shot and my fiancé had to judge their brown sugar boba. We also went with half a dozen of their mochi donuts to try. It was a gamble as we came around 2pm and slightly worried that they were going to turn out stale (bad experience from another store where they were in fact, so stale). She was the only one working so I sparked some conversation as she made our drinks. This shop is a little over a year old so I am glad it's still thriving! Our drinks quickly came out and were pretty tasty. The strawberries in my matcha had pieces of strawberry in the syrup and wasn't too overly sweet. Pretty refreshing! My fiancé's brown sugar was also on the less sweet side which I can appreciate. The boba wasn't the best, as it wasn't quite chewy.. our teeth just sank into them with not much to chew afterwards. Now, based on the yelp reviews, it doesn't seem like they change out the flavors of mochi donuts. There were probably around 8 different flavors. To my surprised, they were still so soft and fluffy!! The outside wasn't too crisp as it probably sat a bit, but they were not stale at all. We had some the day after as well, and they were still so so soft and fluffy! The flavors were pretty light and not too overpowering. I am just pretty satisfied with the texture of the donuts. Overall, the owner was so sweet and kind and offered great treats. I will gladly return in the future to try other things!

GastroPark is a beautiful space, rain or shine. Solo or with friends. There's so many sweet dogs to pet, you can sit inside if it's cold or wet, or outside if it's sunshiny and bright. My mom and I stopped by this afternoon. She got a cappuccino and I got their iced Blueberry Cobbler Latte. I love that they're open later, till 5:00 o'clock. The cappuccino arrived beautifully presented in a green coffee cup with a saucer. My blueberry cobbler latte, is made with their in house made blueberry syrup. I could for sure taste all of the details of a cobbler, the sweetness of the pastry, the cinnamon and the blueberry. I enjoyed each sip! My mom also enjoyed her cappuccino and said La Pausa is her new favorite!

They have an Asian flair to the entire menu, so expect to see Banh Mis, Mochi Donuts, Taiwanese Chicken, Vietnamese and Saigonese coffees, matches, Ube (Filipino purple yam) flavorings, and Croffles. Croffles? WTF is a Croffle? Well, it's a hybrid of a croissant and waffle from South Korea and became a worldwide sensation around 2020 or so. So of course, I had to try my first Croffle. They are sold as a plain treat, or glammed up with syrups, crushed bakery goods, fruit or marshmallows. I went with an Original Classic Croffle ($5.50) and a small cup of iced Vietnamese coffee ($7). The Croffle was a bit chewier than I expected but was tasty and reminded me more of a waffle than a croissant. My iced Vietnamese coffee was superb, with tons of flavor and hints of chocolate. It was sweet and decadent. On the way out I picked up two more croffles -a chocolate and a Nutella and they ended up as our after dinner desserts the next few days. This ended up being a pretty interesting stop, and unlike any coffee shop I can remember.

The inside is very sparse, lots of stuff strewn around. It was lacking a lot of polish, but it didn't seem too sketchy. We ordered from the nice lady an order of dumplings, pirogies, and a couple of bao buns. Price was good, and food took about 15 minutes to cook but we did some trekking locally to waste time, We got our food, took some pics and dug in. The pirogies were for me, and I must say that they were not pirogies. It was mashed potatoes with cheese in a dumpling wrapper. The dumpling wrappers were fresh, but the dough was not what I expected. The potato and cheese was pretty good though. Didn't use a farmers cheese but did some type of white cheese. The bao were generic. They used the same filling as the dumplings as the bao filling. It really needed a sauce inside to help differentiate it from the dumplings. We also got a black sesame bao, but the inside was very watery and not appetizing at all. So we threw that one away. The owner is a very nice lady, and she's working hard to keep her place busy. It's clear that the stresses of the day keep her strained, but she does mean well enough. For those in the area, it's not a drive to destination. It's pretty good dumplings in a run down shop with an owner fighting to stay afloat. I would recommend going here if you want to support local, and don't mind a bit of grit. The dumplings are fresh, the pirogies are interesting renditions, and they do boba tea.

The pumpkin cold foam is amazing, I want to put it on everything. It also comes topped with an adorable meringue pumpkin and cute and inspiring quote written on the side. Open and high ceilings, outside seats close by. Got me a siphon brew coffee and an empanada and a turkey and bacon piladilo. Everything took a few minutes to come out but watching the siphon brew do its transference gimmick was fun. Coffee was of good quality and relatively fresh. The siphon pot did lead to a relatively smooth cup if not a little weak. Probably should've selected a light roast to emphasize the aromatics one gets with that brewing method. The empanada was stuffed to the gills with chicken, seasoned with bullion and the dough was made in house and thin. Chicken had a little too much bullion for my tastes but still really good. The turkey bacon piladilo was a kind of pita flatbread sandwich. The individual elements were good. Crispy salty bacon, soft bread, packaged guacamole spread, strong cheddar, and deli turkey. For $12 I would expect more but I wasn't disappointed in what I got. All in all, a good experience with minor flaws. Worth a try if you're around, but maybe a little too pricy to hunt down.

No warming spices, no earthy or spicy notes. No flowery or grassy notes, no real distinction between a standard latte. Mostly just milk flavored and a little bit of coffee mixed in. I was really interested in a unique spin on a latte, but didn't really get much of anything. It's not bad, but it's very tame for a coffee shop. It's better than any coffee chain, but there's not a lot different in terms of flavor profiles.
