This Starbucks is located in the Simsburytown shops plaza. There were plenty of parking when we went but the parking lot is a little tight. It's located across from the Popover Eatery. As with any Starbucks order, I placed the order via the app beforehand; this way I can get points and the drinks are usually ready when I walk in. I think this particular cafe was very cute and cozy. There were some seating and I loved the fireplace and old historic plaque. I am assuming it's housed in a historic building. The employees were friendly and the drinks were tasty. I decided on their seasonal pistachio latte. The pickup area was located to the right of the counter. Overall, a nice Starbucks with tasty drinks. read more

As I ordered a VENTI and the lady said it back to me and charged me for a venti. The man who made my drink, gave me a grande and as I told him that it was supposed to be a Venti, he said no that I paid for a grande which I literally looked at the order and paid eight dollars for a Venti this needs to be fixed. read more

It's a Starbucks! From the outside it has the New England charm, but once you enter it is a typical Starbucks. Inside, it is the cookie cutter look of every Starbucks in the USA. I recommend getting your order and taking it outside and enjoy it while sitting on the porch. That way you'll feel a little bit of the New England charm. read more

I am never one to usually complain but when I spend this much on a coffee I kind of expect more to it. When the young man put this down in Front of me, I'll admit shock. Shock and the headache I have today prevented me from putting up a fuss. I have worked retail in my past and hate the "Can I speak to your manager?" Lines. Everyone is doing their best and times are tough. Also I have tremendous anxiety when it comes to feeling like I'm making a scene. I'm just on the side of irritated enough where I feel the need to post this. Clearly this is NOT a Grande, which is what I ordered. However, she is kind of a cute little thing. read more

They always get my complicated drink order correct. They are quick and efficient never making you wait too long even when it's busy. The yogurt parfait is a favorite. It's always very clean inside as well. Great service. read more

Friendly staff. However I ordered a grande Strawberry Accai Lemonade with light ice, and I was the most displeased that I have ever been unfortunately. When I picked up the order, there were no strawberries in it, and I did not ask for no strawberries, so I am not sure why they didn't add the strawberries, because otherwise it is a $5 sugar water drink. Secondly, there was more ice in the cup than the drink itself, which is the exact opposite of what I ordered, which was light ice. This is not the first time that they have not listened to my order requests, so I hope that they get their act together soon. read more

Love Starbucks and will always recommend. The coffee is always hot and delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are predictable (that's a good thing) and the service is always on point. read more

I came in this past Saturday to grab a latte and breakfast sandwich. It was beyond busy, the line was literally out the door. Still chose to wait in line, as I wasn't in a rush. When I got to the register, the employee taking orders (I think his name was Danny) took several minutes to acknowledge me and then was very rude while taking my order. Asking "What do you want" without a Hi, how's it going, etc. It seemed like he couldn't have cared less, and showed that to customers. Other customers got the same treatment. Not a good look for someone in customer service. Had a great interaction with an employee making drinks named Jen. She apologized for the delay, asked how I was doing, and made sure my caramel latte and bacon gouda got to me as fast as possible. read more

One of the worst STBX I've ever been too. My app order was 20 min late. 2 out of my 3 bacon Gouda sandwiches were done. A girl came over, fidgeted with my food and said "she's working on your other". Over the next 10 min two other girls came over and fidgeted with my food but don't say a word to me. Finally, after being there for 15 min (25 min after time for pickup) a girl tells me they're out of bacon Gouda and would I like something else. Are you serious? You couldn't ask me that while I was waiting there for 15 min? They sent me to register to get a refund and all that woman had to say was "I hope you have a good day". Completely clueless. And all during this time there were 5 people behind the counter all chatting. I won't be returning to this location again. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Simsbury, Connecticut

It would be a five star review for the friendly, fast service I normally get here. But, Marlene just took it down many notches for her negative-stars attitude. I dared interrupt Marlene getting together a large order for the people in front of me to kindly ask if she could ring up the two pre-made items I was adding to my already-prepared order waiting in pick-up. To which, she barked "NO! YOU have to wait like everyone else!" A simple "I'll be with you in a minute" would have sufficed. And if that wasn't enough, she then made it a point to leave the register section and come down to pick-up to tell every customer who was not me "Thank you for being patient. We love our kind customers who don't mind waiting," while she smirked my way. WTH, Marlene. Let me add there were four other baristas getting together orders, and it was not busy when I went in. I'm not normally rushed but my dog just had surgery and I was eager to get back to my family and dog. Which has no bearing here except, you never know why customers are rushed enough to ask for a kindness, but it's part of customer service to be kind to everyone, regardless. Marlene sucks at her job and should not be on the front lines of customer service with that attitude. read more

It's a well run Starbucks. But might I really like is the choice of Estate coffees made in the Clover machine.

I'm a frequent patron of Starbucks, but this location is by far my favorite. Store is large and spacious, which is appreciated in COVID times. Additionally, the employees here are the best! They're always friendly and accommodating. Even during the morning rush, I leave this store in a good mood. My order is always ready on time or earlier, even if it is a large or complicated order. Drinks always correct and fresh! read more

Wow, a local starbucks that actually didn't make me roll my eyes in disapproval! In Simsbury no less, a place that makes you roll your eyes in the first place! This is decidedly a *small* Starbucks (Not sure how Joshua F. finds it to be large when there's only 3 tables and a few comfy chairs). No matter though, I actually like the cozy environment; if there's an open seat, you'll be in the perfect place to perk up, relax, or study. Barista was very nice, and got our drinks quick. My iced mocha was great, while my girlfriend thought her latte tasted more like a cafe au lait... Sigh... first world problems... Anyway, the fact that I'm taking the time to Yelp a Starbucks should tell you something. I give it the maxiumum number of stars allowed for chain restaurants. read more

Perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of JOE. I need a place to work online, and they have a huge lobby with a mix of tables, chairs and roomy areas. The service was great and they coffee was also. Starbucks is Starbucks, but this is one that is worth your time. read more

This location is really hit or miss. It's clean, the building is nice, and the staff is usually pretty friendly, but unfortunately many employees are not familiar enough with the menu items. Countless times they have either not understood what I'm talking about when I order something using it's name from the menu or made it completely wrong. The confusion seems to be especially around cold foam drinks, like the salted cream cold foam cold brew (which unfortunately is my favorite) and other new-ish items involving cold brew. There are two people there (the two guys, Tori and someone else) who always know exactly what each drink is supposed to be, but with other staff members I'm never sure that I'll be getting the right order. I really wish Starbucks would do a better job of explaining the different variations of drinks to employees so this wouldn't happen. read more

Customer service is really lacking here and the baristas think they know it all. I waited 15 minutes for a sandwich when there was no one in front of me. I was told I was wrong and to be patient 3 times and no one would listen to me that my sandwich wasn't being made. And once it was finally made, it was grouped with 4 other orders. If an order is messed up, you go out of your way to get the customer the sandwich ASAP, not at your convenience so you only have to walk 15 feet across the way to the counter once. Really disappointed. read more

One of the best-run Starbucks in the area, this one's like a well-oiled machine. If there's a line, it moves fast. Service is friendly, and it's near Simsbury's scenic center. Only downside is that the parking lot often fills up. (Try the back of the post office lot next door if so.) read more

Such a cute Starbucks! Good service and americano is terrific here with soy. Highly recommend to anyone passing through

Prime example of how a Starbucks should run. Great coffee makers and excellent guest service. One slow cashier in am but she's super sweet so we can all deal with it. Always clean, great interior design, nice outdoor tables. Even with awkward parking and entrance this location is worth the trip every time. Who ever runs this should train West Hartford centers manager. Been here 40-50 times this year. Never let down. read more

It's Starbucks and it's across the street from work-both are in its favor. What really matters is that the baristas are reliably friendly and helpful. That's why I keep coming back. The food? It's the same at all Starbucks locations. The parking lot? It can be a bit hectic around 8:30 am. But they serve everyone quickly and with a smile. read more

As far as Starbucks goes, this is certainly not a bad one. The store is a decent size with (usually) enough seating. In nicer weather one can sit right outside the front and enjoy one's purchase. The fireplace inside adds a bit of class. It's a decent spot to sit for a few minutes with a friend and caffeinate. The Starbucks sign can be seen from the road so you're not likely to blunder past if that's your destination. I've stopped in a handful of times for both a quick to-go coffee or a sit down relaxation break in my day, and haven't had a bad experience with either type of visit. read more

My only gripe has been the amount of flies on the food. It's kind disgusting. Other than that, the staff is amazing and the coffee is great.

Standard Starbucks. Coffee, snacks, overpriced baubles. Constantly filled with people who monopolize the seating areas for hours. Not uncommon to stop in on any given weekday and not be able to find a spot to sit among the bored housewives gossiping or the people that set up their virtual office all day. I get it, free wifi and all, but really a pain if you're looking to sit and casually enjoy your coffee for a minute. Lastly, woman who is the manager there needs a personality. Never says hello to regular customers and always seems to have a condescending attitude. read more

When I visit this Starbucks the staff are always friendly and attentive. There are only two issues I've seen with the Simsbury Starbucks. The first being, some customers will head towards the exit when they enter the store because they are accustomed to the old layout and they cause confusion. Placing arrows on the ground may resolve this issue. The second issue involves the parking lot. On some occasions the parking lot will be completely full and navigating around it can be annoying when you're trying to find a parking spot due to the small size of the parking lot. Aside from that, the recent store remodel looks modern and has a welcoming feeling to it. The drinks in my experience have always been made correctly and served in a timely manner. Overall this is my favorite Starbucks to visit when I have free time. I would recommend the Simsbury store to anyone. read more

Staff is more concerned with their own conversations and eating snacks than even greeting customers. Terrible service

Great staff, great location, great atmosphere... and unimaginably poorly managed. Constantly runs out of supplies and condiments, as well as other product, and the heavy turnover in staff speaks also to poor in-house management. One example: the recent renovation failed to include a proper electrical outlet for the Clover. Competent management, invested more in the store, employees, and customers than in bicycling, is long overdue. read more
