I had a leak in my water heater and had Jeremiah come out to give me a quote on the weekend. I'll start with the good: He was very responsive and came out within 16 hours of me calling. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and a truly nice guy. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and what the expected solution would be. In addition, there was no charge for coming out to give a quote (even on the weekend), and he gave a quote before starting on any work. All that said... I got a little bit of sticker shock when I was handed the quote. The labor was a decent amount higher than I felt should be necessary, and the parts were significantly more. At the end of the day, I had to go with another company that wound up charging me half. So my takeaway here was this: Daniel's plumbing seemed like a professional company that would be great for a big or complex job, as the technician seemed highly knowledgeable and well-trained. However, based on my experience, I'm not sure I'd use them for simple repairs. read more

Jerimiah will do his due diligence and will not try to up sell you or do unnecessary work. He was very professional and courteous. Don't let the big plumbing companies fool you. My kitchen and Washer line was clogged and over flowing. Turns out I had a major issue with my pipes and needed a high jet sprayer to clean it out. Yes, it would be more expensive than the traditional drainage snake but Jeremiah made sure that it was necessary after working it several times. Just say the pipe was old and probably was never cleaned out. Scheduling was a breeze and he was able to accommodate me within a few days. First time calling a plumber for help. Jeremiah called within a few minutes after I submitted a yelp quote request on a Saturday and showed up next day to fix everything on Sunday. Bonus points for being able to do it so fast and on the weekend. My kitchen sink was leaking underneath and Jeremiah said my garbage disposal was busted and needed it replaced. I had to take him on his word - I thought maybe we would look at it and identify what is causing the leak instead of straight jumping into replacing the whole thing. Not sure if I was upsold, but at some point you have to trust the professional. The blades were extremely rusted which is what he pointed to as proof, but not sure what that has to do with the leak. $245 for installation of a new garbage disposal. I had the option of getting my own or using one of two models they had in the van. $595 total for installing an ISE Pro 750 that they had right there (this is the more expensive one). Amazon sells them for $235 so that's a $115 upcharge - quite steep, but you are paying for the convenience so I was OK with it. Overall Jeremiah was extremely courteous, friendly, and efficient. We have worked with Cooper Plumbing twice. The first time we had an emergency leak, this company came out and took care of it and reinstalled a house water filter system that was incorrectly installed by the contractor. They are not the cheapest, but they are respectful and nice. They also helped us deal with the headache of unexpected expenses and were never rude despite our constant questioning. We really appreciated them helping us with a respectful understanding of unexpected expenses. Thanks y'all! The second time they came over to calibrate our hot water heaters and investigate a leak in our yard. I could tell instantly the systems were working better after. However, while inspecting the leak in our yard they dug up a Bush and said they'd be back the next day with a required tool to find the leak. I heard back from them a day later but only to schedule later in the week. I know schedules can get messy but I was really disappointed because my Bush was dug up and they weren't returning to help to prevent my water bill from going through the roof. Ultimately, I know they are good at what they do and I like them, but I was still a bit disappointed that they didn't help me when they said they would and when they knew I was relying on them. Pro: very responsive and has a great texting system to let you know when they will arrive Con: I clearly indicated on first communication (yelp) that it was a push cistern toilet (that wasn't filling), and when they came - he first said that they don't do repairs on push cistern toilets... well they why not disclose that at first communications ? Turns out they would do repairs, such as replace the fill valve, but quoted $220. It's a $7-15 part and if you knew how to do it, would take maybe 15-20minutes (being generous since it's an 7min YouTube video!)...I indicated the problem and showed the YouTube video where I explained it could just be a filter. In the 15 minutes that they were here, he did check the filter and showed me it was clear. That cost $49.99 (the call out fee), I rejected any additional work ($220) for replacing the fill valve and instead went to YouTube and we did it ourselves. He did not present any ideas of what might be wrong or what might need replacing. He said they could try to replace the fill valve, which I brought up first since I was doing a lot of research to troubleshoot what might be wrong. They did not come off to me as knowledgeable or able to troubleshoot toilets. No idea how there are so many positive reviews on yelp. The actual problem was the canister flush valve needed replacing (which they never brought up as a potential issue either)... thankfully there's YouTube for free! read more
