Just saw the review by RH and it was exactly my experience. I know that the freeze caused real logistics issues, but they scheduled a visit to my house on Wednesday 2/17 first thing in the morning. After a follow-up call due to ongoing freezing they rescheduled me to 2/18 first thing in the morning. They never showed, they never called and the next information I got was an option to add myself to their list of people wanting help. So, welcome to the back of the queue after their failure to show up! I will not be giving Cooper another chance. H-Town is wildly more reliable and I only tried Cooper because they got back to me first. Next time I will wait - a plumber who shows up when they say they will is worth 20 who do not. read more

These guys within a couple of seconds of my posting, my emergency situation we're all over this extremely unexpected water pipe leak that came through my living room ceiling & found my garage with an 1 - 1 1/2 inches of water. They immediately found the problem & had it fixed within an hour @ not only that set me up with a personal friend of his to come & fix the sheet rock repair as this house is in the middle of being sold & buyers were about ti back out because of this unforeseen issue, but since Jeremiah & Efrain got it fixed up in a snap and WAY less then what I thought it was going to be. I cannot say how impressed , knowledgeable, & professional these guys were not to mention the expediency in this matter. It was quit shocking at how quick the response time it took from the time I made my urgent call to the time they got their assessed the situation & had it repaired it was nothing short of miraculous. When the whole thing was over I was expecting a horrifically high bill, but was again pleasantly surprised how reasonable the repair was under the circumstances.. The overall experience was great from standpoint of a courteous plumber who fixed my plumbing issue promptly. I do have a problem with scheduling, I was told 1:00pm, then given window of 1-3 and the plumber showed up at 4:00. I hope in the future they can offer more accurate scheduling. Last but not least pricing!! I was quoted $49 show up fee which would then be applied to the repair if needed. I was 100% Ok with that, where I have a huge problem is regarding $50 of parts (I actually purchased the parts and was going to do the repair but had small issue with the pipe coming out of the wall) and being charged $406 for the repair. $406 to replace a "P" trap is ridiculous. The plumber spent less than an hour here. I understand $100 an hour and maybe $150 for any repair but $350 an hour is stratospheric for a plumber. Especially working under a bathroom sink with the work space clear and easily accessed by an adult. I was told $226 in the beginning and somehow it mushroomed into $406 as the final. I would have said thanks but no thanks before the work started if I knew that number. Once again I was OK at $226 but $406 is insane.... Overall I am very dissatisfied with the overall cost. I hope someone can explain to me why I was charged so much. If you are going to use this company, make sure you have a list of all costs before work starts.... read more

We noticed a water leak this morning--it's a Sunday--from where the landscapers connected an irrigation system into our main pipe (2 months ago). It had been leaking for at least a day, so we shut off the water and started calling plumbers. Daniel's was first on the yelp search, but they couldn't see us until tomorrow (Monday) at 8am. No water until then was going to be a real inconvenience, but they were all booked today and no other plumbing company we called was available sooner. A few hours later, Daniel's called and said they a cancellation and could see us this afternoon. The prices were reasonable and they don't charge a Sunday service fee! They showed us how the landscapers tied in the irrigation line incorrectly, putting too much stress on the old galvanized steel pipe. This past Sunday I realized that we weren't getting any hot water. I quickly searched yelp and found that I could request a quote for Cooper Plumbing. With in minutes I got a reply that someone would be able to come out Monday morning around 7:30. There would be no fee for the visit the only cost would be if something was wrong. I reached out to a few other places but most of them didn't reply or couldn't come out till next week. I booked the appointment and come Monday morning right at 7:30 I got a call from Jeremiah. After much research and selecting Cooper because of many good reviews online, we scheduled an appointment on the Monday before the night of the big freeze for a non-freeze matter (air hammering) and were scheduled for the following Wednesday, receiving a text and e-mail confirming the appointment, but they never showed up and have never called or otherwise attempted to reach us or respond to our calls. Of course we understand the big demand caused by the freeze (we also had a burst pipe), but there's no excuse for not communicating with scheduled pre-freeze customers (how many could there be?) and completely ignoring their appointments. They expect me to pay an inspection fee without saying how much they charge by the hour. They literally could just throw a high number at me and keep the inspection fee without doing any work. I asked them if they would refund my inspection fee, if their bid was higher than others? He told that I just care about money!!! Well, I work hard for my money. I requested a quote from Cooper plumbing and they were super fast to respond. After explaining everything, I was pretty much told what would need to happen via Yelp messenger, and everything happened as said. Chris came out the following day right around 10am, which I appreciated because I stressed my preference in having it as early as possible, and the confirmation shows a 2 hour window. He came in, was wearing a mask, took his shoes off, and went to take a look. I don't think it was even 5 minutes before he basically predicted what was wrong. He did the shower pan test like we were told they would, and the problem was found.
