After spending over $40,000 on two new HVAC systems for our newly renovated home, I deeply regret hiring Cool Breeze. While their pricing was among the lower quotes we received, their after-sale service has been deplorable. Unfortunately, our experience has been that they simply do not stand behind their work. We had three legitimate issues with one of the systems they installed. Rather than taking responsibility and addressing them, the responses we received were essentially: 1) fix it ourselves, 2) live with the problem, or 3) pay them additional money to come out and investigate it. These were issues with a newly installed system--not an old unit we were asking them to troubleshoot. What was particularly disappointing was the way we were treated when calling the office. The service staff was extremely rude and dismissive, and we were told we would need to pay for service that we reasonably believed should have been covered as warranty-related work. When you're spending more than $40,000, the company you choose matters just as much after the installation as it does when they're trying to earn your business. In hindsight, I wish we had paid more and chosen a more reputable company that stands behind its installations and values its customers after the check has cleared. If you're considering Cool Breeze because their quote is competitive, I strongly recommend reading the other negative reviews before making your decision. Based on our experience, those customers are not making this up. read more

BEWARE !!!!!! Owner Allen Allison cursed at my husband did not stand by his work and called my husband after we had them out to work on our unit and it stopped working the day after We have purchased several units from them for our home and business years ago know what your paying for Upsold us two surge protectors that they charged us 500 a piece for found them for 59.00 After the phone call Allen also stated good luck getting the rest of the work you already paid for read more

please read all reviews before hiring Cool Breeze very unprofessional and as far as what iread they like to take ppls money they have nothing organized. The company's service plan advertises no trip charges for service calls. According to receptionist $125 fee if nothing is wrong to A/C for a potential future visit. which contradicts their policy and was never part of any written agreement. I asked Receptionist to please send me a contract or something that states they charge all customers $125.00. She stated they don't have anything its only word of mouth, but she added it on copy of invoice i asked her for. When I asked seller for their invoice no were does it say $125.00 charge. Adding it without disclosure is an unfair practice and constitutes a form of billing fraud. Unresolved Issue: The technician acknowledged the noise issue, It truly sounds like a jet engine. Noise is affecting my nerves server PTSD anxiety, my health and ability to work from home , yet the company has refused to take further action or to work with me. Since I moved into this house I have had alot of problems with GC that remolded house. Im at the point that rather have them take furnace out I rather be hot than to be triggered mentally because of noise. I believe that HVAC owner sold a/c unit with a nice discount to unlicensed SC and still charged GC almost $10,000. I say that because when i had SC come because of nasty work was done here. I asked him from what company they bought it he didn't tell me and he was smiling touching the A/C. SC and worker even said it was really loud. Thats 4 The a/c was installed November 2024 according to receptionist i don't even qualify for the warranty since i didn't fill out their 90 day warranty plan something like that. I bought house on April 7th. Why cant they work with me the a/c is going to cause me a nerves brake down. I was never disrespectful to them not once. I have email from receptionist asking her again about 125.00 and wanting to schedule. She said yes for 125.00 and we can schedule this Monday 11-3. Lack integrity, fraud and willing to steal my money. Star is for tech for listening to me. I apologize Marixsa is not receptionist she is office Manager. Attached you will find our emails invoices, I apologize for some reason I couldn't save either invoices so i had to cut them out. read more

Great communication and service! Very impressed with this team! First, Allen was super responsive to all the questions and requests for a quote. Then when the team arrived, we continued to be impressed. Tony and Shaughn were a fantastic crew (hopefully I remembered their names right--they were a great team and so professional). They worked extremely hard, were very professional, and were dedicated to ensuring we were pleased with the air conditioning service! And finally the office staff continued with excellent service. Any time I called they were very helpful and responsive. Specifically Elsa and Marixsa were super responsive to my questions. We are enjoying a very comfortable (cool) home and are thankful for the support by the team! Especially impressed with their responsiveness to questions/concerns to ensure we were happy with their service--truly impressive. Definitely recommend! read more

This is a great business. I went out to bid for a new system for my daughter's condo. They were the cheapest, the most knowledgeable and very efficient. They did exactly what that said they would, and on time. They were personable and cleaned up thoroughly. read more

I bought a house 3 years ago, i had a new ac installed. The installer dropped a screwdriver in the unit and ruined the condenser. They replaced the unit with another new one, not the same brand or model. they have been back out 3x every season change to fix the unit. they then tell me I have no warranty and it'll cost me $125. Why would I pay them to fix something that was never installed right to begin with. Horrible people! Horrible employees! Horrible service!! They don't have any clue what they are doing. Never use them read more

Lost ac after storm, Cool Breeze was at a neighbors house and was very nice to come over and give us a quote. We got a few more quotes to compare but selected them on their competitive pricing and value. Installation was very efficient and professional. We have been very pleased with the communication and prompt reply to all of our questions. Thank you Allen. read more

I hope if you have ac problems you DONT seek help from COOL BREEZE COMFORT SOLUTIONS the company had screwed up twice now and they don't take accountability for their mistakes and crappy work the lady's at the phones are so unprofessional and rude also pretending to be managers and supervisors when you ask to speak with a higher up, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR AC TO WORK AND LAST LONGER THAN A FEW MONTHS Mind you my unit is brand new 2021 model and to have already messed up twice within the timespan of my brand new unit is absolutely ridiculous the people need to know! I RECOMMEND OSCARS HEATING AND COOLING INSTEAD!!! read more

This place is horrible. They do not check for leaks in your ac and they violate the EPA . They placed Freon in an ac without checking or diagnosing for a leak. They also overcharge WAY too much. I would recommend almost ANYONE ELSE. And when I called to inquire about the issue, the boss (I'm assuming) was extremely rude and tried to literally threaten me. I reported a violation with the EPA and waiting for a response. - please note: I had to give one star. If I could give none, believe me I would! read more

Update to my earlier 1 xStar rating (Yelp won't let me edit it!), Alan contacted me after my earlier rating and told me there must have been a misunderstanding, they somehow thought they were on a repair call - not a "winter service request". He wanted to make things right, so he sent a Tech out to do a Summer Service of our systems (free of charge) - Colt S. was great, he took his time checking things out, then made a list of recommendations - things that could be done but were not essential. He also gave me a reasonable quote on a replacement unit for our aging one - he said it is still running ok, but may require some parts replacement in the not too distant future. I raised them to 3-stars for making things right! Bob Q. read more

I like Cool Breeze! They call me when it's time for my semi-yearly check up and they show up on time, which you don't always get with other companies. Samuel, my technician, was very nice. Cool Breeze did a fantastic Job installing two new hvac systems and a ductless system for our garage. They sent a full crew out and all was complete in a day and half. Their pricing was very reasonable and the included warranty and maintenance plans are good too. They were recommended and hopefully all will work out, but so far it appears the work is good and systems working great. read more

BEWARE! We were hoping to find one of the "Little Guys" that would be more customer friendly with reasonable rates -NOT! They advertise a "special" check-up for $69.00, but when the Tech shows up he looks to find something wrong and your "check-up" suddenly turns into "a service call" and the cost is now $200+! That is what happened to us. I wanted to get my unit checked before winter, when the Tech switched it from AC to Heat it didn't start up all the way, evidently a mouse or lizard had been in the attic and bent a tube that prevented full flow on the exhaust. The Tech spent less than five minutes up there - came down, went out and called his "boss" came back and handed me a bill for $200+, said your system works now, WTF? What about the $69 rate and system check? The last company that did a pre-season check spent about an hour to make sure everything was up to standards! I guess I should have checked up on that guy, maybe he was eating lunch up there instead of working on my unit.....I will definitely never do business with CoolBreeze again they are just SCAMMERs, lure you in with a promise of a lower rate, BS! After asking friends how much they paid for their new hvac units I contacted Cool Breeze CS for a quote. They came in with the best offer so we scheduled the install for my mother (gas furnace and AC) and myself (heat pump and water heater). Their guys are great! Very neat and professional. They explained what would happen prior to the install and kept me informed as they did the demo work removing the old hvac and water heater. I have heard horror stories from friends about other hvac company installs. Cool Breeze CS is not one of them! This company rocks! read more

I am posting this review for my husband after his experience with contacting Cool Breeze. Cool Breeze is the company we originally purchased our unit from. "I called Cool Breeze for an inspection on our unit that had been installed by them on 12/14/16, a 5-ton Rheem with a cleanable filter. Monday October 25th - Maris (?) said employee coming out would give me info on a warranty. They sent Beau. After inspection Beau responded that there was no issue with the air handler at this time. He mentioned their warranty program. He did not clean the coil (although the copy of the invoice said he did) and said that the 2-year warranty did not include coil cleaning. He then called me outside to look at wiring inside the condenser. A wire about 6" had parts of the insulation gone and looked like something had chewed it. Beau said that mice had ruined three wires (not chewed through). I told Beau that I had purchased the unit and system from Cool Breeze. Then I asked if we could put a ¼" spacing mesh to protect the wires and unit from mice. He said it would be $215.00 more to fix it without the mesh or I could buy the 2-year warranty program and not pay for this fix. When I said no to the warranty, he then offered to fix the wires and added on the mesh for free if I would buy the warranty. I again said no to the warranty. He then fixed the wires in 10 minutes, and I paid them $254.00. Also, I'd like to mention that on inspection there were absolutely no mouse droppings anywhere inside this area which there are in almost every case when a mouse chews on something. Right after he left, we noticed a new vibrating rattle in our inside air handler that wasn't there before we called them. After a few days I still couldn't figure out where it was coming from and I called the company to send someone back out. Friday October 29th - Chris of Cool Breeze came out and said he thought it was caused by an improperly sized filter even though it had not made any noise before Beau came out. I had originally purchased the cleanable filter from Cool Breeze and they had made it to fit the air handler. Chris then replaced it with a cardboard filter to see if the noise would stop then he left. It did not stop. Monday November 1st - I called Maris back at Cool Breeze and she said no one would respond because of the bad filter unless I paid approximately $59.00 for a service fee. I stated that they had installed the ill-fitting filter and that Beau had created the noise problem. She did not care and insisted on the fee. I decided at that time not to use them ever again." read more

I prefer to give NO stars. I thought I made my peace with this company when I finally replaced the unit they installed in 5 years prior but when the smaller 5-year old unit failed to work properly and the repairman from another company told me it was wired wrong, I just had to write a review. Not only were the machines only 5 years old but I paid each year for a warranty contract and diligently scheduled the company workers to inspect my units twice a year. From the installation to the final days, Cool Breeze irked me. I could write five pages on this, and I have to the company owner, but I'll spare you. Spare yourself, avoid them. read more

Horrible services; our rental company uses nobody but this company. We had one issue with a pretty large water leak, repairs where done by the company 'CoolBreeze Comfort Solutions' they repaired the dry wall damage and all I can say is my 4 year old son can do a much better job than what this tech has done. Onto the next issue, our water heater went out 6 days ago, company comes out because again that's all our rental company deals with out here and the tech looks and determines we need to have the water heater replaced and says "we will get the quote over to you immediately so we can get this resolved." Quote just now was sent over today Monday April 15th (3 days) later and we still don't and won't have hot water for another two days all because this company 'Cool Breeze Comfort Solutions' failed to send over quote "immediately" like the tech said they would do. read more

We have American Home Shield (AHS) as a home warranty company, but this review will focus on cool breeze comfort solutions. The AHS side was a little bit of a nightmare, but you need to understand that the home warranty company and the local businesses they contract with are not the same people. I feel that customers get frustrated and displace their grievances from the home warranty company onto the local contractors. Also, if you have a home warranty, the process is going to be much slower and difficult for all parties involved because you've added a third party to the negotiations. I'm going to make this looong story short. While dealing with AHS was a little bit of a challenge, everyone at Cool Breeze was amazing. Our first technician Jay realized our compressor wasn't working, but he also climbed into our attic to ensure there wasn't a leak and even changed out our air filter. The main contact at Cool Breeze's office was Jennifer. She seems like a no-nonsense, get things done type of person and she is awesome! She was professional, accommodating, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Our last technician, Justin, who installed our new AC unit (the compressors ordered via AHS failed 3 times, twice was the wrong part, the third time was a defective compressor), is an extremely hard worker! He installed our AC yesterday and ran into some technical difficulties, but you can tell that Justin takes pride in his work and likes to make sure that everything is perfect! Justin stayed LONG after the sun went down. I went out there with a flashlight to help him see and he described everything he was doing and his thought process. I like learning from people who have knowledge and skills that I do not, and Justin was great at teaching me a lot of the basics while still staying focused at completing his work. So far, our AC is working perfectly and I wanted to thank everyone at Cool Breeze Comfort Solutions for all their hard work throughout the past month! Also, in case anyone is wondering about my opinion on home warranties, I believe that it makes the process a lot more difficult. However, my wife is the only one currently working and I am once again a full-time student. There is no way we could have afforded all the work that cool breeze has done for us, but because we have this home warranty, we were able to get MOST of the cost covered. Yes, it is a headache sometimes, but just considering the dollars and cents I am glad that we had a home warranty. read more

Cool Breeze has taken great care of me and my 90 year old mother for many years. They installed 2 units for me and I have only had one problem which was covered by warranty. Can't get any better than the service from Cool Breeze! I emailed them last night and received a personal reply from the owner that she would have someone contact me in the morning. Received a call this morning at 7am and they said they would have someone on their way to my house in the next hour. Technician showed up 45 minutes later...IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THE GREAT SERVICE FROM COOL BREEZE. Our condensation line (the line that drains condensation from your AC) was backing up water in the AC/Water Heater closet...tech cleared the lines, checked pressures, temps, and was done in about 30 minutes or so. They did recommend a nitrogen flush of the drain line but I'll give it awhile to make sure i's draining properly. Thanks again Allen, Courtney and staff! read more

I had a technician come out on 6/29 after my AC downstairs went out in the 100+ temps. He told me that my compressor was inoperable and left me with a quote for a new unit. I was charged $60 for the "diagnosis." I had replaced my upstairs unit with Cool Breeze about 6 years ago so called them first. They didn't have any record of me buying from them. I thought this was very strange so decided to call around. Yesterday I have another tech with Temperature Control Inc tell me within minutes of arriving that my compressor was fine! He got the unit up and running and cleaned off the coils (free of charge!) and recommended some basic maintenance. The unit is old but it's not dead yet. We will replace it at some point but it's not an emergency. Bottom line the Cool Breeze guy was either incompetent or dishonest. Either way he didn't do his job and left our family (including a 6 month old baby) in the heat and charged us for it. I just called them to request a refund and they refused. Don't let the urgency of air conditioning cost you thousands like I almost did. read more

Have to report my initial review was completely wrong. Turns out they actually destroyed my condenser and I had to buy a whole new system from another company. Found out from the other company technician that they did not do anything at all and missed the blower portion of the system - needed a new board. Cancelled my home warranty because of this experience. Warranty companies are just scams. I was also told that air conditioning companies are geared to take advantage of helpless customers. I get that is one opinion but based on what went through (called three other companies) I now believe that bit of info. Run away. read more

This company is a farce. We scheduled a maintenance appointment for May 20th. Between 7am and 11am. No one shows up. Called company at 1pm asking where someone was. They said they had no record of an appointment. That's fine, mistakes happen. Say they don't have open appointment till June 4. We take it. They show up. We need a part. But... our warranty ended May 30th. Sounds like complete BS, how convenient that no one shows to our appointment prior. W have used CoolBreeze over the last couple of years, and have been pleased with ever aspect of our association. Our first contact with them was to install 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners in a home we had purchased. Our permanent home is in Oregon, and I had brought these new units down with me. This complicated the process, as the first couple of calls revealed that other companies did not want to do the work without also having the customer purchase the units from them. When contacting CoolBreeze, they were not only willing to do the work, but the events that occurred during the installation, further proved that I had selected the right company. On the day of installation, the installers first replaced the air conditioners with no problem. However, when moving on to the new gas furnaces, Ken, the lead installer, discovered that we had brought down high efficiency furnaces, which required different vent ducting than we had, and to accommodate the new units, we would have to have a roofing company come out to change out the venting on our tile roof. A call to Alan, the owner of CoolBreeze, resulted in him selling us 2 additional furnaces, at HIS COST, that would not require the roofing alterations. They also installed our new thermostats, as well as altered an existing interior supply vent that had been hooked up to an incorrect zone during the building of the home in 1993. As part of the original contract, CoolBreeze also included a maintenance contract, and has come out twice to complete such work. During both visits, the workers have arrived on time, been thorough, and provided friendly service. This last visit, the installer, Terry, informed us that our service contract had ended, offered us a very reasonable renewal, and we are also having them install a whole-house surge suppressor, which was also recommended. In closing, I highly recommend this company, and could not be happier. read more
