He himself came out and provided a bid for the right sized unit needed for my house. He gave three bids for me. One was for if I wanted to change my old, large ducts for a modern smaller one for better air flow and my AC Unit along with an extra vent. One for the AC and the extra vent. And One just for the AC. I picked the middle option and a few days later it was installed and done. The total cost was $5,000 less than the lowest bid from the competitor. Ever since then (two years ago) they have given me top notch care. I called the number I thought was the office and David answered. I found out he gave me his personal Cell. I felt bad because it was late at night on a Saturday. He was perfectly fine and he stated he would get this problem resolved on Monday. He kept his word. We recently purchased a home in Sun City and discovered that significant damage had been done to…read moreportions of our rooftop HVAC ductwork during a roof replacement project performed by another contractor. We contacted Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation, and Brian Kearley came out to inspect all three of our rooftop AC systems. The level of professionalism, technical knowledge, and attention to detail Brian demonstrated was outstanding. This inspection took place during brutal Arizona summer conditions with temperatures well over 100 degrees. Brian spent hours both on the roof and crawling through the attic inspecting every portion of the HVAC system. Even while working in extreme heat, he remained professional, focused, and incredibly thorough. What impressed us most was his ability to identify problems that could have easily been overlooked. Brian discovered that two of our three rooftop units had major gaps between the units and the ductwork penetrating the roof, causing conditioned air loss. He explained that the correct repair would likely require cranes to remove and reinstall the units so properly fabricated ductwork could be installed. He also discovered damage to the insulated external ducting on our third unit where portions of the ductwork had fused to the previous roofing material and were damaged during roof removal. Brian took extensive photographs, carefully inspected airflow and duct integrity, evaluated mounting conditions, and created a very detailed report and repair estimate explaining everything clearly and professionally. It is rare these days to find someone who combines technical expertise, honesty, work ethic, and customer communication the way Brian does. He clearly takes pride in doing things correctly rather than simply rushing through a service call. Absurdly inflated--often 2-3x higher than legitimate competitors for the same (or actually correct) work. This place is predatory, unprofessional, and dishonest from start to finish. They target people in a bind who need quick AC fixes and don't know to shop around. Bottom line: DO NOT GO HERE. Get quotes from at least 3-4 other shops first.
