Just an update from my previous review...the HVAC team came out after Edward's follow up and Juan and Christian are invited back any time! They called before the appointment and i was a few minutes behind schedule and told them i was on my way they politely waited for me to arrive and were kind as could be upon my arrival. They came into the home and assessed the situation were a little concerned but proceeded professionally with their work and had completed the problem within an hour. We have used him in the past for another issue and he also helped out at with a snowbird neighbor within the last year. All 3 times he has been patient, clearly explaining the problems and reviewing possible options versus fixing or replacing. I have now used Cool Blew for both Solar and AC replacement. They have been great both times. Sales call, every option was presented, but no high pressure. Competitive pricing, but didn't take shortcuts some other companies were offering to cut price. Installs have all been smooth. For the AC, Juan and his crew arrived at 0600 and were done with a 2 unit install by 1:30. Can't comment on service calls, because nothing I've bought from them has broke. This company was contracted through my home warranty to service my AC, since it abruptly stopped working. It was 117° yesterday and 100° inside the house 6/23/24. They accepted the job and scheduled to come out on 7/3/24. ... really?! How can they ethically accept an AC job that they cannot service for over a week!! My water heater was leaking, upon calling several companies with no call backs, I came across Cool Blew and spoke to Jim, who took my call after hours. Absolute WORST response in relation to a customer service request I have ever received. Office staff told me they were unwilling to make any additional steps or assist in my need for a direct connection between them and the home warranty. After I made multiple calls back and forth, I discovered the home warranty needed additional paperwork from Cool Brew...I called them to request that paperwork be re-sent...office personnel told me "If they need anything else, they can reach out to us - they know our phone number." and that she would not reach out to their contact again OR resubmit the paperwork with the service request order. Absolute garbage and made me feel worthless as a so-called 'customer'. read more

Pretty disappointed at the change in professionalism since the first time I used these folks. AC unit went out today and I called in. I explained to the first person I'd love to have them help with my emergency call and that I was using a home warranty. Was told I could request them specifically when I placed the order. Called the home warranty, got the ticket assigned, and called back requesting service. The "dispatch manager" answered and said they will not do service until Monday because I have a home warranty and they wont pay them the emergency travel charge. I said I was happy to pay the extra fees and the gal lost her cool on the phone. I was told needing service with a home warranty is like coming to them with food stamps. I was blown away at this remark. I then said I'll just pay everything out of pocket if they can give me an idea of the costs for a fan motor. She refused to provide information and just kept doubling down that home warranties are bad for business. I told her it was not my fault their business decided to get in bed with home warranty companies and if they are not paid enough, it's not my concern. Her response was that it's not their fault I have a home warranty. I believe your dispatch manager needs some training on how to communicate and listen. I was fully prepared to pay out of pocket but she felt it necessary to blow up a situation. I've already relayed her remarks back to my home warranty. So maybe if you want less work from them in general that will benefit your company. read more

Today (10/31/23) my technician, Matt came to my house to do a tune up on my air conditioning unit. He was prompt and courteous, called me first to let me know he was on his way. He performed the maintenance quickly and even took pictures of my unit to show how dirty it was. He also changed my filters for me. One is high up on the wall near a vaulted ceiling. I have used Cool Blew ever since they replaced my a/c. They are a great company to work with. read more

I can't blame them for what my home warranty company does or does not let them do, but I can tell you that if I was paying out of my own pocket, I would never in 1 million years use this unprofessional company. They received a recall notice to come to my home and a couple hours later I called them to schedule an appointment. They told me that somebody from dispatch would be calling me and that they could not help me. Five days later I called them and they said that they never got the recall notice, but would be able to schedule an appointment. Wait what? You cannot schedule an appointment without the recall notice- remember? When they came out today, the technician told me that it was perfectly normal for my home temperature to be just 30°- 35° cooler than what it was outside no matter what I had my thermostat set on. AND then- in the exact same breath he told me my units were old, and they could replace them for me. Wait what!?? So which is it? Units can't keep your home more than 30°-35° cooler? Or I need new units because the ones I have are no longer working correctly? The guy went upstairs, tinkered in my attic for 45 minutes and came back downstairs and said everything looked great. I called for clarification and even the receptionist couldn't get her story straight. Bottom line- when you hire somebody to do something like air conditioning, which most people know nothing about, you absolutely have to trust the company so that you don't get robbed blind. Avoid this company, find somebody else. read more

I highly recommend to not purchase a new air conditioner with this company. Our fairly new unit has had multiple, major reoccurring issues and they just keep charging us outrageous amounts for repairs. We have been left without a/c on two different occasions in the middle of summer. However, the technicians have been knowledgeable and hard working. Update 8/11/23 , I contacted Sue last week, the account is under my husband's name. She said she was going to investigate and get back to me on Monday. I called and left voice mail yesterday-Thursday, I have yet to have any resolution. Update, 08/14/23, the company has resolved this issue beyond our expectations. read more

Has to be the worst company in the world to deal with, do not work with them under any circumstance. Home was pumping all cold air into 1 room, rest of the house was not getting any so it was obviously very warm throughout the rest of the house being June/July in Arizona. First repair was Monday June 24th, said they would come back by the end of the week to repair part 2. I was notified that they couldn't come until July 8th. In that time frame, during the week of the 4th of July, the entire AC unit went out, currently sitting at 99 degrees in the home. Inhabitable, had to get a hotel for past week. This company was outstanding!! I recently moved to Sun City West and had bought a warranty with the house. The kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working. I called the warranty company and they sent out Edward Tatum, plumber from Cool Blew. He was very pleasant, gave me lots of information & did a report to the warranty company. The warranty company refused to cover it because they said there was a foreign body in the faucet. Edwards report did not say that. I talked to Jim Smith at Cool Blew to find out why they refused to cover it. He was very customer service oriented.. explained why they refuse things. He offered to waive the fee to return & replace a faucet that I would buy, and offered a very discounted fee. I appreciated that Jim did not patronize me or talk down time, which often happens because I'm both female & a senior citizen. Edward returned the next day. He installed the faucet, was very informative about my plumbing, left the kitchen very tidy & was very pleasant and professional. I feel like I got 5 star, red carpet treatment.
