The person at the counter did not ask. The bagel sandwich my wife got had hardly no chicken salad in it and my bagel had minimal cream cheese. The food is incredibly inconsistent at this location. My latte was overly sweet and I couldn't drink it. We've tried to give them a chance to improve because the staff is very nice but plenty of other options in town.

And, yet. On a recent trip to the Glens Falls area I ordered the same breakfast sandwich from Spot Coffee three mornings in a row. All the mornings I was in the area in fact. It was called Mike's breakfast sandwich. And, look. I don't know who Mike is--but his taste in breakfast sandwich toppings? Top notch. I got mine on a plain bagel and it comes with egg, provolone, and cream cheese. It's almost poetic in its simplicity. And, sheer perfection. They also have coffee, of course, which I very much enjoyed as well. Each morning I got one of their specialty lattes. One morning I got their spiced cookie latte and the other two mornings I got their frosty mint mocha. Both were fabulous and I was able to sub almond milk, which was great. I ordered delivery and they packaged everything beautifully and it arrived still quite warm. Thank you Spot Coffee for making this girl's winter work travel just a skosh more warm and welcoming. But it was still tasty. As promised, the meals were ready to go in about 25 minutes. They traveled well and were still hot when we got home. I really enjoyed the channa appetizer; lots of different flavor layers throughout with just a subtle hint of spice. I tasted the chicken tikka masala; well spiced cubed chicken over basmati rice (same rice that I had with my chicken bowl). Some of the chicken pieces were really big and the portion was definitely generous. My sliced chicken was also really good - different flavor profile from the tikka. Since the salad is served in the same container, it gets pretty warm....but it saves having a separate to-go box for a small salad. They also have an entire rolled ice cream selection - plus chai-inspired hot drinks and other desserts available. I wanted to try the naan and asked if we could order a side of it. Unfortunately, they still considered it "lunch" time and couldn't sell me a piece or two of naan. I found that a little weird, but I chalk it up to being a fairly new business. Plus, the girls that were working in the front - I'm guessing - are not related to the owners. Friendly and competent enough, but always embrace an opportunity to upsell! The wraparound porch is just so nice to sit outside and eat in warm weather. They really utilize the space well, as it's covered in colder months so you can still sit there. I was here for brunch on Mother's Day with reservations and was seated promptly. Due to the holiday, parking was not possible in their lot as it can only take a few cars. No matter, as we were able to park nearby. Their brunch menu had plenty to choose from. You were given these small carrot cake muffins to start, then a choice of starter and main along with dessert, wow! You also had a few cocktails to choose from and you could also swap out for a mocktail too. It was extremely busy but the staff was attentive and handled our orders with ease. Their attention to detail was so nice. For starters we had a strawberry salad, French onion soup, tuna tartare, coconut shrimp. For mains, the burger, salmon Benedict, chicken and waffles and a Polynesian style breakfast bowl with coconut shrimp, sticky rice, pineapple and greens. Lastly on a full tummy we had coffee with chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake and peanut butter cheesecake. Spending the morning here for brunch was the perfect way to kick off the day. Brunch was enjoyed by all. On a side note, I've also had dinner here and you can expect the same wonderful experience. I'll be back again!
