MEAL: Breakfast ORDER TYPE: Dine-in MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: We had breakfast at this place on our way to Adventure Park in Killington, VM. It was a small and cute local restaurant. The place seems quiet and peaceful. The menu was displayed on a black board written with colored chalk. They had sufficient indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate enough people. The parking was right next to the moving traffic which felt unsafe for the little children. We first ordered our food at the counter and then picked up the food when it was ready. The lady over the counter could not follow and had to repeat the order, she still messed up the order. As we all were hungry, we did not bother much. The challenging part was the place accepts cash only and thankfully they had an ATM inside the restaurant. The menu had a wide variety of sandwiches, bagels, smoothies, coffee etc. I ordered Veggie Deluxe from the Breakfast section. The Veggie Deluxe comes with 2 egg whites, spinach, tomato, and cheese. It comes in either bread or a bagel, but I choose wheat bread. The bread was well toasted, and the sandwich was good. But it was not fulfilling. I didn't try bagels but they looked great. I got Berry Fusion from the Smoothies section. The Berry Fusion had strawberries, blueberries, apple juice, coconut, agave, and coconut milk. The smoothie was good and had a cream on the top. There was nothing fancy, but the food was good. The weather was good, so we sat on a patio. Overall, the experience was not great but still I enjoyed the place because of its simple ambience. The customer service was not welcoming. We ordered so much food but still the overall total was very reasonable. The prices are very decent for the quality of the food they provide. The preparation time was quick. I would recommend this restaurant if one is looking for a breakfast place. PROS: The restaurant has the local vibes Reasonable prices CONS: CASH ONLY, no other payment modes are accepted Parking might be difficult if the place gets crowded

The iced coffee in this coffee shop is delicious. Had a large one with an egg sand which and it was incredible. Then got a second iced coffee and a crumb cake for a treat. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a coffee that's better than the chain spots and delicious. My daughter had a smoothie and it was really good too.

Saw this place off the side of the road while looking for a place for lunch. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual. I like that the menu is simple but offers a good array of choices for both breakfast and lunch. I had the veggie quesadilla, which was the perfect amount of food and very well made. I like the selection of tortillas that they offer too. I recommend this establishment, but I will reserve the fifth star for fresh salsa and guacamole if they are able to offer it in the future. Next time I would like to try their breakfast and coffee. Definitely will be back here!

Cute and quaint coffee shop! Coffee is self serve and has plenty of variety! Only accepts cash or check though. We had a breakfast sandwich. It was fresh and fast, very delicious. I would love to see this place in the winter and get the full atmosphere. Very friendly cashier.

We chose Morgan & Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary after I specifically requested a…read moregift certificate to dine there because I had been looking forward to the experience. Sadly, it ended up ruining what should have been a special evening. I began with the French onion soup. The menu described it as being served with a crouton, but what arrived was two large pieces of bread with only the thinnest drizzle of melted cheese. Anyone who enjoys classic French onion soup knows the hallmark of the dish is a generous blanket of bubbling cheese, with the bread hidden underneath. I politely mentioned this to our server, who took it back to the kitchen. What came back was astonishing. Instead of remaking the soup properly, the kitchen simply added two more pieces of bread--for a total of four slices--and again barely covered them with cheese. At that point I declined the manager's offer to make it a third time. After seeing what the kitchen considered an acceptable correction, I had completely lost confidence. For my entrée, I ordered the coconut shrimp and added the glazed spare ribs. Unfortunately, both were overwhelmed by an extremely sweet, thick, sticky glaze. The coconut shrimp themselves may have been very good had the sauce been served on the side so diners could decide how much to use. Instead, every bite was drenched in sweetness. The ribs had virtually the same heavy glaze, and even the green beans and carrots were swimming in a sweet sauce. The entire plate tasted like dessert rather than dinner. I barely touched it and simply had it boxed to take home so we could wash off the sauces ourselves. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked the rich seafood flavor one expects from that classic dish. Rather than complain yet again, he also boxed it up so we could season it ourselves at home. By 8:30 on a Sunday evening we were still hungry and began searching for another restaurant, only to discover that most nearby kitchens were closing at 9:00. We ended up grabbing Chinese takeout just so we could have something to eat on our wedding anniversary. The evening became even more disappointing considering the cost. We ordered a $150 bottle of Cabernet, bringing our bill to approximately $300 before tip. Spending that amount for a celebratory dinner and then leaving hungry to find another meal elsewhere is not an experience I ever expected. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I generally give restaurants every opportunity to make things right. In this case, however, the problems extended well beyond a single dish. Between the mishandled soup, the excessively sweet entrées, the bland bouillabaisse, and ultimately having to find another dinner after spending hundreds of dollars, this was an anniversary dinner we will remember for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because it has the potential to be much better than what we experienced.

We walked past Farmacy's window and one of the chefs gave a friendly wave. We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. They have a fun frequently changing menu of small, medium and large plates so you can choose your own foodie adventure. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

Taylor was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Everything is made fresh daily, and if you sit at the Chef's Counter, you'll see it first hand. You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We were so impressed with the unique menu options that are offered in the appetizers, small shareable plates, main courses, desserts, and drinks. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.
