We're do I start, very non assuming place as you see it from the street. When you enter you're greeted with a smile and sat on time for your reservation. The menu is small just as I like it. I had the NY strip with fresh French fries it came with an amazing home made steak sauce it was really good. BUT!! The pork schnitzel was OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go back for more. Everything about this experience great

Jack's has been at this location for 18 years. I never heard of it...and one of my neighbors refers to it as a "diner" (but he's never been there). It ain't no diner!! I mean, I have no issues with diners...I grew up in diner-land (NYC). But Jack's has white tablecloths and higher end options; making this a lovely destination for special occasions. What I really loved was the lack of pretentiousness while providing great service. The menu has options for all tastes and preferences- truly "American" themed. Two of us had the pear blue cheese salad-which we both devoured and really enjoyed. The other two had the shrimp Gorgonzola and did exactly the same...they loved it. Left nothing to the imagination. The bread that's brought to the table is light and fluffy with a crunchy crust.... accompanied by a plate of seasoned olive oil and a small dish of butter. They also bring out a plate of pâté with crackers (that are in the plastic packages...which made me giggle). I'm not a huge fan of liver, but the pâté was very good. Main dishes included the filet, pork schnitzel, scallops and salmon. All rave reviews. I had the salmon and I asked for it to be rare-it was almost rare but honestly cooked perfectly. The horseradish crust was delicious and the mashed potatoes underneath were smooth, buttery and decadent. The asparagus was the only rough spot; parts of it were tough to eat. That said, I would get the salmon again. Loved it. Dessert? Of course! We were celebrating a birthday!! Crème brûlée, cheesecake and chocolate mousse....all gone! I had the mousse and it delivered...chocolatey, smooth, light and heavy at the same time. So good. I was so full...all of us were. Went home and crashed in a blissful food coma. Don't let the small strip mall location fool you. The inside is large and the tables were very well spaced. I'll definitely be back.

Their marketing says it all, "upscale dining with a neighborhood feel." We met friends here for dinner and ordered a variety of foods. Service was wonderful and the full bar had all of our favorite liquors. I opted to start with the chicken wings and then ordered the chicken piccata with mashed Yukon potatoes. Others had the haddock, and crab cakes. Pate was complimentary to start things off. Dessert included the cheesecake with blueberry coulis and a chocolate mousse. It was a warm, humid evening so we all ordered our summer drink of choice: "Rose Kennedy's"--Ketel vodka, club soda, splash of cranberry and a lime wedge. Everything was very good.

We chose Morgan & Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary after I specifically requested a…read moregift certificate to dine there because I had been looking forward to the experience. Sadly, it ended up ruining what should have been a special evening. I began with the French onion soup. The menu described it as being served with a crouton, but what arrived was two large pieces of bread with only the thinnest drizzle of melted cheese. Anyone who enjoys classic French onion soup knows the hallmark of the dish is a generous blanket of bubbling cheese, with the bread hidden underneath. I politely mentioned this to our server, who took it back to the kitchen. What came back was astonishing. Instead of remaking the soup properly, the kitchen simply added two more pieces of bread--for a total of four slices--and again barely covered them with cheese. At that point I declined the manager's offer to make it a third time. After seeing what the kitchen considered an acceptable correction, I had completely lost confidence. For my entrée, I ordered the coconut shrimp and added the glazed spare ribs. Unfortunately, both were overwhelmed by an extremely sweet, thick, sticky glaze. The coconut shrimp themselves may have been very good had the sauce been served on the side so diners could decide how much to use. Instead, every bite was drenched in sweetness. The ribs had virtually the same heavy glaze, and even the green beans and carrots were swimming in a sweet sauce. The entire plate tasted like dessert rather than dinner. I barely touched it and simply had it boxed to take home so we could wash off the sauces ourselves. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked the rich seafood flavor one expects from that classic dish. Rather than complain yet again, he also boxed it up so we could season it ourselves at home. By 8:30 on a Sunday evening we were still hungry and began searching for another restaurant, only to discover that most nearby kitchens were closing at 9:00. We ended up grabbing Chinese takeout just so we could have something to eat on our wedding anniversary. The evening became even more disappointing considering the cost. We ordered a $150 bottle of Cabernet, bringing our bill to approximately $300 before tip. Spending that amount for a celebratory dinner and then leaving hungry to find another meal elsewhere is not an experience I ever expected. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I generally give restaurants every opportunity to make things right. In this case, however, the problems extended well beyond a single dish. Between the mishandled soup, the excessively sweet entrées, the bland bouillabaisse, and ultimately having to find another dinner after spending hundreds of dollars, this was an anniversary dinner we will remember for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because it has the potential to be much better than what we experienced.

Taylor was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Everything is made fresh daily, and if you sit at the Chef's Counter, you'll see it first hand. You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We were so impressed with the unique menu options that are offered in the appetizers, small shareable plates, main courses, desserts, and drinks. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.
