Ok. In order to appreciate just how much I loved my breakfast sandwich at Spot Coffee, you'd have to know that I travel for work regularly and that when I do so, my goal is to typically not eat at the same place more than once. And, yet. On a recent trip to the Glens Falls area I ordered the same breakfast sandwich from Spot Coffee three mornings in a row. All the mornings I was in the area in fact. It was called Mike's breakfast sandwich. And, look. I don't know who Mike is--but his taste in breakfast sandwich toppings? Top notch. I got mine on a plain bagel and it comes with egg, provolone, and cream cheese. It's almost poetic in its simplicity. And, sheer perfection. They also have coffee, of course, which I very much enjoyed as well. Each morning I got one of their specialty lattes. One morning I got their spiced cookie latte and the other two mornings I got their frosty mint mocha. Both were fabulous and I was able to sub almond milk, which was great. I ordered delivery and they packaged everything beautifully and it arrived still quite warm. Thank you Spot Coffee for making this girl's winter work travel just a skosh more warm and welcoming. The vibe is amazing, and the service was wonderful. The milk for the latte left something to be desired it wasn't whipped and foamy so it just felt like a big cup of milky coffee. I also hate to say it but their pastries looked better than they tasted. I like a crunchy muffin top and a dense muffin but theirs were more of the cupcake texture variety. They didn't taste bad they just didn't match what the visual expectation led me to believe they would be so not necessarily their fault. The staff were real gems and it's the type of shop you want to hang out in and get lost in the art on the walls. I would go back but I would skip the pastry and maybe just get a cappuccino instead. read more

Arrived for the week for work. Found the Spot Coffee my go to for my morning walk and pick me up. The Dirty Chai is my new found favorite. The combination of expresso latte and chai with a dusting of cinnamon. Good quality coffee much better than the place I was staying. Looked like a nice place to hang out or work as well. I haven't tried the coffee yet, but the breakfast and fruity drinks we had were delicious! Service is friendly, seats are plentiful, and portions are generous, particularly with cheese. I ordered the Veggie Mike, which includes 2 vegan sausage patties. From my experience with meatless products, they seem to be Beyond brand breakfast sausage patties, and were nicely cooked. For want of a better way this was spot on for a morning coffee and muffin. We all had different items from the menu, muffins, omelette and breakfast sandwiches and everything was delicious, fresh and hot. This is my favorite coffee shop in Glen Falls, hands down! The people who work here are so incredibly kind. I love the drinks, especially the lattes, which you can get in many flavors. My boyfriend claims the coffee is roasted to perfections as well. They have a variety of food selections, and they can accommodate everyone's liking. The environment is a vibe as well! It's welcoming to people from all walks of life, and everyone always has a smile. You can find yourself in conversation with a stranger, and it's not weird! Ok. I've tried this place enough times and given it enough chances. Here's the deal: You can get coffee here and they'll do an OK job. They make hot chocolates a few different ways. It's ok. But the food... just don't bother. It's not fresh in general. Specifically: "oatmeal with fruit and maple syrup" came out with sliced unripe (white-ish) strawberries. They perpetually mess up food orders. Every time I've been here they get it wrong: two eggs over easy- they're broken yolks and hard. A bacon egg and cheese on a bagel (aka breakfast sandwich) - they didn't ask what kind of cheese and just decided to use cream cheese. So gross. The bagel crumbled apart. Yeah. Bleh. Their pastries LOOK ok, but aren't great. The space is open and inviting in all seasons. Big wall of glass facing the street that opens in warm weather. A fireplace that runs in the colder months. Comfy couches and chairs. Lots of local art on the walls. There is no designated parking area so you'll have to find one on the street. Early morning- no problem. After 9, less likely. It's a nice spot to meet someone and watch people walk by, just don't let their food ruin it. A minute walk down the street is KRU coffee who consistently makes fresh food better. Here's how you handle this place. Meet someone for a cup of coffee: Grab a spot on the couch. Take your time. Don't order anything the kitchen has to "cook". You'll be OK. read more

You can barely hear the person you're talking to without shouting. I don't know who in their management think people come there to hear canned music. Does this place provide a mind-blowing gastronomic experience, deserving five stars? No. But it's cozy and clean, and the service is fast. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. After ordering our food and drinks we went over to the counter where everyone else was waiting for their food. Some of the employees would just drop drinks on the counter and not call out a name or what the drink is so it would be every man for themselves to figure out who got what drink. Roasted: found this coffee shop in Glenn's Falls NY which is just south of Lake George where we are staying. The coffee shop is located on the Main Street and has tons of seating both indoor and outdoor. It's an interesting concept as this place also does brick oven pizzas. Service was fine - nothing to write home about but he was friendly enough for me. We asked for our lattes for here but still got them in paper cups. The lattes were tasty - espresso was good and milk was creamy. They had a variety of flavor options including many sugar free options. Latte art was attempted but could have been better. Enjoyed the coffee and would come back again. Unroasted: great location coffee shop in the middle of town. Huge space that with plenty of seating. It's decor is very cafeteria feel especially when this place sells pizza. Weird to see a big pizza oven. In a coffee shop. The staff was very friendly and did a great job with my latter. Excellent service, clean and spacious We stopped in here randomly Saturday 7/31/21 and we were pleasantly greeted right away. I cannot recall the woman's name who was working this day, but she was a ray of sunshine. We decided on a flavor combo that made her pause so I asked if she did not recommend it..LOL She said no worry regardless, if we didn't like it she would have no problem making something else. The coffee and Latte we ordered tasted terrific - good quality taste. The atmosphere was welcoming and the space large with different seating choices throughout. I have a feeling this coffee spot has pretty good coffee and drinks, and looks at lunch like an afterthought. I stopped in here for a quick lunch with three others. My bf's mom got the turkey panini, and she didn't think it was that flavorful...actually called it bland. While the bread it was made on was good, there was too much of it, and I would say I'd also agree with that in regards to my chicken pesto panini. Good filling but not enough, and again, a little too much bread. My bf's dad had no problems with his wrap, and the bf liked his chicken quesadilla. So maybe they just need to improve their paninis! I also picked up a black pomegranate tea that was REALLY GOOD. I could actually taste real pomegranate flavor and I really enjoyed it. They also serve breakfast food and tea/coffee, so when I'm back in town I would perhaps try it again and give it another chance. read more

We had to look over the entire restaurant to find one clean table. All the others were filthy. If this had been a one-off situation, I would have simply let it go, but this has been the same story nearly every time I've tried this place. Staff that ignores patrons, apparently incapable of cleaning tables, or getting simple orders right; WHY would I want to pay $35 for a lunch like that? NEVER AGAIN. Caveat emptor. read more

My husband and I both ordered the Single Origin hot coffee that they freshly brewed and the Mike breakfast sandwich. Both coffee and sandwiches were delicious and fresh and reasonably priced. You notice all ages enjoying the little place, a nice relaxed attitude and all around great ambiance. We thought it was cool that you could get breakfast, lunch and pizza along with coffee.
