I thought I give them another chance since our last debacle. Seats still broken and the ones that are available are horribly uncomfortable. Doesn't appear that they've cleaned the tables or the floors under the tables since my pants visit months ago. Drink process is chaos everyone standing at one small spot reaching over everyone to get the drinks. Just total disorganization! And why pack my food to go when I said for here? Absolutely fantastic bagels. They're very flavorful and make for incredible breakfast (or anytime) sandwiches. The staff are so friendly, helpful and quite pleasant to deal with. Service is fast. Uncommon Grounds has opened another location in Queensbury! Located in the former Recovery Sports Grill space, Uncommon Grounds offers their fresh baked bagels, coffee/espresso & tea drinks, breakfast & lunch bagel sandwiches, salads, bakery goods, oatmeal, bagged chips, and open cooler drinks. Due to being a former sports bar, the remodeled place with new flooring & furnishings is very spacious with ample table seating, booths and wall counter seating. I stopped by Uncommon Grounds in Queensbury for a mid-afternoon snack. I've heard is place had very long lines in the morning, but when I got here around 3 PM, there was no line and I ordered a Large Cold Brew and an Oatmeal Cookie. I would normally order the Winner Winner (chicken salad, sprouts, provolone, tomato, lettuce) on an Everything Bagel, but I already had a big lunch a few hours earlier. The service was wicked fast, as I was paying my cold brew and cookie were handed to me. I took a seat in the front seating area and enjoyed my refreshing cold brew and soft oatmeal raisin cookie, while taking advantage of the free wifi. I was happy to see Uncommon Grounds open a very spacious location, but at the same time sad that the Recovery Sports Grill in Queensbury had closed since I enjoyed watching NFL Sunday football with my own speaker at my table/seat to hear and watch the game(s) of my choosing. read more

This location just recently opened in our area. I believe there are a few other locations in the Capital District. There's a bunch of little cafe and bagel shops near by so I wasn't sure that it would work but I stand corrected. The location is in the old sports bar building so it's really spacious and clean. I stopped in with my daughter for a Hot Chai and a buttered bagel. She got the Mediterranean Bagel sandwich and an iced chai. The bagels are excellent. From the sign you'll see they are made at the location fresh daily. They were large, spongy, and delicious. I've had hot chai at a lot of other locations but this won. It had the best froth, taste, and temp. My daughter said her bagel was absolutely delicious. You can see from the pictures how great they looked and tasted. read more

What a gem!! I was excited to finally have my first visit. I've been to several of the other business locations and always enjoyed my coffee, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and of course service! However this new Glens falls one was overall over the top!! My first observation was the ease of location right in the mixed of the area but easy to get in and get out, then was the clean attractive spacious area, plenty of seating, roomy and bright. Next was the service being early afternoon there was about dozen people in line, there was two lines and two friendly smiling servers taking orders and cashing people out. Then it was observed that more help was needed a third smiling friendly helper stepped in. I was the lucky one to get her, she greeted me with joy, took my order and made a great suggestion on my now new favorite drink ( a dirty chia) my order was filled quickly and with smiles and appreciation. I watched the manager, check the area and greet customers warmly including myself I left feeling so happy I had finally stopped, even happier when I drank my dirty chia and ate the best version of my bagel sandwich I'd had yet. Oh and those baker dozen bagels, still warm in the bag! Yup! Felt like a queen, thank you!! I recommend Uncommon Grounds period, but this Glens falls location gets the gold star read more

What a gift that this Saratoga institution is finally in Queensbury and I will probably pay their rent at least one time this year. Love it. They have the best unsweetened iced tea, and the variety of bagels are wonderful. Speaking of which, Jesse recommended the jalapeño cheddar bagel and he was right on the money. He was full of valuable suggestions and incredibly friendly. Everyone seems nice there, but ask for Jesse, he's great. read more

If you're looking for a leisurely Sunday morning with a bagel and coffee and you go to Uncommon Grounds in Queensbury you had better block off your whole day. The place is staffed with a bunch of kids who look like they rolled out of bed and got dressed from a clothing donation bin. There is no organization, no rhyme or reason for them to do anything. They all run around like chickens with their heads cut off. From what I could tell there was no one in charge. The line was out the door and there was no way they were handling the Sunday rush. After a half hour waiting to order I got my coffee and then waited for my bagel. I was number #195. So after waiting some more I hear #189, #192 (oh good we're getting close) then #198 #200. So I go up to the pick up and ask about #195. They hadn't even started it yet. So the dude goes to make my order and makes it wrong. I didn't care anymore so I just took it. So if you want bagels for breakfast you'll end up having them for lunch at this place. Over an hour to get a bagel and cup of coffee. Why open a place with over 100 seats when you can't even handle a rush? read more

Ordered online for pick up just for it to sit behind the counter for 15 minutes while I waited by the counter for mobile orders, my iced coffees were completely watered down, and all three of the sandwiches I ordered were completely wrong. One had the wrong bagel and the other two were literally missing like two toppings as if they didn't have what was on the sandwich and just decided to make it with what they had instead of making the sandwich unavailable on the website. Extremely slow service when there were 4+ baristas and sandwich makers working and only a hand full of customers. I spent $50 and everything had at least one thing wrong with it. read more
