We will start with the ice creams are ridiculously huge! They have tons of flavors and toppings. The lines were very very long the night we went. And although the ice cream was good, I don't know if it was worth the very long lines. And it is only soft serve. I think a lot of the hype is that it is right across from the amusement park so they get a large volume of customers. If you are soft serve fan, I'm sure you will enjoy Martha's. What a difference a change in seasons makes. Coming here on a weekday in the middle of September and there was plenty of parking, plenty of outdoor seating available, and only TWO ice cream windows open for sales. But this was not a problem as there were not even enough customers to create a line. In the past, we somehow always happened to visit on days when coffee flavor was not available. So, today's visit was purposely timed when it WAS available. My wife ordered a medium dish of the Coffee flavor, and I ordered a medium dish of Mocha ($5.30 each). I was semi-surprised to discover that Martha's took the easy way out by making mocha using a twist of chocolate and coffee. Well, at least I didn't need to ask my wife for a taste of her coffee. What a gem! Right across the street from Six Flags Great Escape. They have so many windows open for you to order and they offer ice cream treats on the left side and the right side is the grill serving loaded fries/mac and cheese, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. I have never seen a soft serve place that offers such a variety of flavors. They have 37 total, but they cycle through 12 flavors offered daily. A small is regular sized cone is the size you get from the ice cream truck. For less than a dollar more you can get a medium, which is HUGE. I was hoping to see someone ask for a large so I could see what THAT looks like, but my dreams were left unfulfilled. I wanted the raspberry cream, but that was not offered today, so I went with the lime cream and was not disappointed. They also offer some interesting sprinkles and ice cream dip options. We visited this establishment while on vacation in Lake George. Numerous folks told us about it and, while driving past, the establishment was always jam-packed with patrons. A few years ago a former Yelp CM led tours of Soft Serve places in the greater Albany area. We never got as far north as Queensbury which is too bad because Martha's blows away all others. First, the custard is dense for a more satisfying experience. Second, the portions are huge. Third, the flavors are amazing. I got a medium with half raspberry/chocolate swirl and half salted caramel and skipped dinner after. Be aware that not all flavors are available every day, but if your favorite is not on order you can order it as a "cookie" (presumably like an ice cream sandwich). We were there on the way back from the eclipse, so early season and only two windows open. Even so the line moved quickly. They seem to have 2 people assigned to each window: one to take the order and handle payment and the other to fill the order. It's a good system and better than the vast majority of seasonal ice cream places that take forever. read more

What I love about Martha's is that they put out a monthly calendar and you can check their website for your favorite flavors. There are always lots to choose from. The portions are generous and there are several lines open at once. There's definitely something for everyone. I love that you can have two flavors stacked no matter the soft serve size you choose. So if you're deciding between two of your favorites, have both!! My personal favorite is soft serve vanilla stacked with dole whip mango or pineapple. It's super refreshing and is somewhat reminiscent of the orange creamsicle but updated haha. This place is totally insane, we couldn't believe how big the ice cream and iceys were, it was unbelievable! This is a cute place right across from a theme park. They serve huge ice creams and also some food like chicken fingers and poutine which looked really interesting but I didn't get the chance to try it. I got a blue raspberry slush puppy drink which I found to be very watery when I was expecting something thicker like a 711 slurpee. My partner got a cherry icey which was huge but was just a big ball of ice with cherry syrup poured onto it instead of Rita's, Uncle Louie G's, or Ralph's type iceys that are actually individually flavored and not made on the spot using the syrup. That said, we didn't like our iceys and didn't have much of them before throwing them out. However, my friends got the vanilla and chocolate soft serve and said it was delicious, so I'd definitely try that next time! The service here was good, all the kids taking orders at the registers were kind and enthusiastic. This is a very busy place but the lines move fast!
