Bought a 9' pocket door here and it's absolutely beautiful! Jim and Rafael guided me through the whole process made it a breeze. Rafael thought outside the box for us and was able to come up with solutions to our space problems and hit it out of the park with the pocket door! Love Love it!

Truly the best service. Was able to replace my front door lock in a diff color. Showed up fast and they called me right away. They went above and beyond to help me instal it. Support you local family owned businesses.

I worked with Bryan who was very helpful and knowledgeable. The problem was that the window came defective. The wood under the bay window was placed right under the handle, so the handle wouldn't be able to move to open the window. My contractor had to remove the wood and place it in the correct place, under the window (picture below of the correct placement after the work was done). This cost me about two hours of time from my contractor. I let the store know, but they never responded to me. I was going to use them for the rest of the windows in my house, but now I'm not planning to.

New Door from COOKS; modern, beautiful, and lets in a ton of light!

Fantastic Door Replacement; professional, excellent customer service, communications, referral to an installer, and the final product speaks for itself. We wanted to thank ROY and TONY for helping us thru a process that we could not have done without them. Will return again if we ever need doors or windows......

Front door. Alex left the space cleaner than he found it (these pics don't do the work justice).

I wanted dutch doors and found THE GUY to install them (thanks Alex) and THE DOORS from Cooks. Bryan came in way under price for what I was looking at from other vendors for the same TM Cobb doors. I was able to communicate with him effectively by phone and email. He even called me back on Friday night at 5:30. I always appreciate somebody willing to get something done instead of waiting till Monday. Everything was so quick and efficient I decided to go ahead and move forward with a pocket door installation too. I'm so grateful and would refer these guys to anyone.

They have great service and are very helpful. I've purchased several windows from them and everyone I know goes there.

I wanted to remodel my wife's shower as a surprise while she was away. Justin was referred by someone to me. When he came he was all "yes sir" and polite. It started ok with the demo. What went wrong after that is what I've found since I actually got a proper company to do the work. 1. The floor was put in place without plumbing under the house 2. The floor was very unstable and bouncy 3. The drain he connected wasn't even glued to the drain line 4. The cement was placed incorrectly 5. He used some sealing mat4tial that he slapped with a brush that is actually not meant for shower. Then he starts putting up the hardiebacker cement boards without even putting up waterproofing paper!!! In the process he's complaining that I'm checking his work and asking what he's doing as if I don't have a right to make sure the job is done right. He finally comes to work one day to so called continue. Without telling me he took his tools and left and blocked my number!!! Overall an incompetent liar. I suppose I should thank God for having this happened since if he had continued all the leaks would have destroyed my house. Montecito Heights

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.
