    New Door
    Siouxe D.

We contacted Premier for a quote on having an exterior door replaced. Chris responded in a very timely manner and set up an appointment for the following day to give us an in person estimate. When he arrived the following day he was on time, professional and was very knowledgeable about the job, we hired him on the spot! We weren't sure exactly what door we needed so he ordered it and picked up for us which was very helpful! He completed the job a few days later and we couldn't be happier! His prices are very reasonable and his attention to detail is something we don't see often enough in the handymen/contractors we have hired in the last several years. We will definitely be contacting Chris for all our future handyman projects, he is truly THE BEST!

The door handle Chris fixed. I didn't need a new handle. Repaired this.

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.

It was clear it was time for a replacement. Before choosing James, I got a quote from a very popular windows and doors company in Orange County. James, the owner of Lucero's Windows and Doors, not only offered the best price but was also extremely responsive. He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.

Very communicative and on top of things even before we confirmed going with him. The price. James's price is competitive, we also reached out to other door vendors in the area, his price came back within our budget. He's also very knowledgeable about the product and can tell he's been in the industry for a long time. It took James 2 days to get all doors installed. He was courteous and mindful getting work done. We had one door that had some problem with our floor not leveled, he assured us it would be resolved. For the utility door, the quality is above our expectation as an exterior door that not guest facing, and he complimented the hardware for us without charging since our own hardware is garbage. My partner is a very peculiar person with details. He's very happy about James work that alone speaks his work quality. I would definitely hire James again if we have door or window job, would take his referral for other jobs needed!

The sales representative- Sarkis, was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and guided us toward the best option without any pressure. We drove down from the Bay Area to check out the doors on a Saturday, and Sarkis was kind enough to accommodate us even though we reached the showroom at almost closing time. He did not rush us and even offered to open the showroom for us the next day (Sunday), but luckily we loved the door that we selected as soon as we saw it. He even let us customize the front and the back of the door. See picture attached. What really stood out was the level of service after the purchase (which was almost 7 months after the door was delivered and installed, since our project was running behind schedule!). The installation team went above and beyond--even hopping on a video call to walk us through parts of the installation and make sure everything was done correctly. They also helped set up the smart lock and troubleshoot an electrical issue which was due to wrong wiring which made a huge difference. In the end, everything came together perfectly. The door looks amazing, works flawlessly, and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality products and exceptional service. And do ask for Sarkis if you ever visit them!

I messaged few places on Yelp and Elite Touch was one of the first to respond. Their price was also very reasonable. After few messages back and forth, we scheduled a time. Yuriy messaged me first that he was on his way and he came exactly on time. The repair required him to remove the door trim to access the door hardware. He had to charge me for that which I had no problem with. He completed the job, and also showed me why the door was off and how he fixed it. He cleaned up and I couldn't even tell that the door trim was removed and reinstalled (despite him not having paint either). Payment was by Zelle. Very impressed with the work and professionalism. Definitely will look to use them for future.
