Dan was quick to respond and had researched our problem and had a lot of ideas to fix our water heater that had leaked. He is also charming, fun and followed through the next day asking if all was well. And came in on a Saturday! I heartily recommend him. read more

Dan did a great job. Easy to coordinate with. Finished the project at the exact rate he quoted. Contacted him and within a few days the service was completed. My project was a little unique. I had an old basketball backboard and hoop installed on my garage and it fell down during the heavy rain/wind. It was hanging down. He took it down and removed all of the items. He then professionally installed a tarp on the roof where some of the screw holds for the backboard were installed. I requested a tarp as I only needed something temporary since we are replaced the entire roof within the next few months anyways. I would definitely recommend Dan. read more

Dan is awesome! He fixed our cabinet door that had a stripped screw issue. Also fixed a few other things around the house. He was quick, professional, and very personable. read more

Needed to install a new blind and a medicine cabinet. Something that is probably easy for many but not so easy and time consuming for most. Dan did a great job, even patching and painting the holes from the old blind. Dan is a great resource that I'll probably need and depend on in the future. read more

Dan was great, on what was very much a handyman (as opposed to finish carpentry) job. We called because part of a house entrance doorframe was ripped out, So the door wouldn't close or lock - we posted a picture when we contacted 8 possibilities. Dan responded immediately with a date, not immediate but soon enough. He came on the dot. And he listened attentively to our needs when he came: not a fancy shiny upgrade or improvement, just a quick but lasting fix. It was done exactly as we needed, the price was right, Dan brought all the necessary tools. Need something fixed? Dan's your guy. read more

Dan's Handyman Services - Handyman Near Me

I've used Dan's Handyman Services before and continue to value their service and recommend them to others. Dan priced a job for me to assemble and install outside door awnings. We made an appointment and the gentleman he sent out did a great job. Two awnings were installed over two doors and they look and function well. Added bonus, the gentleman that did the work had mentioned something that ended up being a problem in my kitchen. Thanks to his insight, I was able to quickly correct a pretty serious issue (not through them as it was appliance related). So thank you! read more

Excellent service from Dan Kelly! Highly recommend this handyman ! He came out , saw the problem , found the solution and was fair on the price. Will defin use him again. Thanks Dan. read more

Dan is honest, kind and experienced. I had recently moved to the area and looked high and low for a good and trustworthy handyman - researched and reviewed so many individuals and websites, called several, only to feel like I was being taken advantage of regarding cost. I had a gentleman who came recommended literally ruin my wall trying to hang a couple special - and expensive - framed prints. No pride in his work. Thankfully Dan fixed the enormous holes in the wall for us. Dan has been to our home many times now and he can fix and assemble ANYTHING. I recommend him to everyone and anyone looking for a handyman - he has all the positive attributes most of us are looking for. read more

Dan is such a nice, god-fearing man, I've been hesitant to write about the work he did in my home. However today, the 2nd thing (out of 2 tasks) fell apart. He was hired to attach 2 shelves to the wall in my work studio and install a ceiling light in the office. After taking to him the back work studio, I returned to the house and discovered he'd left the front door wide open. I have a dog and cat, he was aware of the dog who followed us into the studio. I asked him to be sure the door shut, his response was, "I left the door open?" Nothing else. To install the ceiling fixture, he had to break away some of the existing plaster. This was done without any protection for the items below. My desk, Turkish rug and chair were covered in dust and plaster. The brass fixture is also now dented. Today, a studio shelf, 9"x 9" which displays a lightweight cardboard sign, came crashing down. Screws came out of the drywall which is torn and shredded. The wall will have to be patched, painted (again after his installation marked up the wall also) and I will have to find someone to do all this work over. I gave Dan 2 stars because his heart is in the right place. However I would not recommend his work. read more

Dan is great , honest and extremely reasonable. Most of all he gets the job done and goes out of his way to make you satisfied in the work done. I run a childcare center and he got two floors done in 2 days . So happy and all the kids too. Thank you Dan and please if your reading this Dan is remarkable don't look anywhere else. I am going to be calling him soon for more work on my property. Finally a good man with perfect work details. read more

Dan is very nice and professional but we won't be using him again. We needed help securing a big frame to the wall. He just couldn't figure it out how to do it properly and left an anchor hole on our wall. read more

Dan was great and exactly what I needed. I wanted help hanging several items around my apartment (picture frames, artwork, and a large clock). Dan was extremely quick to respond to my inquiry and was able to squeeze me in on the same day. I also liked how Dan had an hourly rate, as opposed to another handyman I spoke to, who wanted to charge me per item. Dan hung everything in about an hour and it looks great! He was also extremely polite and friendly. Thanks Dan! read more

So I clicked the "request a quote" button on my Yelp app and filled in what I was looking for. I need my kitchen sink replaced, not sure if this is handyman territory or is more plumber themed work. But I decided to start with the handyman option first. I did this for 3-4 handymen in my area and expected that responses would trickle in over the next day or two. I was wrong. It didn't take a day or two for Dan's Handyman Service to respond. How long did it take? 7 minutes. Let me repeat that so it *sinks* in. (Pun intended). What was more impressive was that Dan called me himself to say that he doesn't do sink replacement but gave me the name and number of an affordable Plumber he recommends. 7 minutes folks. That's all. Mind = blown. read more

Fantastic! A good handy with affordable prices who is also a kind-hearted person! He is a rare find! Dan takes time to answer phone calls and answer all my questions. Dan is fantastic! A large portion of my apt. ceiling caved in and fell due to some kind of attic water damage. The hole was about the size of an average door! Dan came in to observe the damage on a Saturday and started working right away. He replaced and secured the ceiling back to better than new! Dan is very professional and pleasant to work with and has a smart, logical and very precise way of getting the job done. I would definitely hire Dan again and absolutely recommend his services to anyone in need! Thank you very much, Dan!!! You Rock! read more

I had to find someone to repair and paint my apartment within a week of vacating, and was lucky enough to find Dan. He was able to patch & paint numerous holes in my apartment in a timely manner. I live in a two story apartment with large holes that had been made from past roommates, and he got the job done in the span of 5-6 hours. His demeanor and overall character is friendly and personable, and a person you can rely on to get the job done right without having to stand there watching over him. I barely write reviews online. But since it took me a while to find a trustful and professional handyman, I think it's worth my time to share my experience with other people. I contacted Dan regarding re-caulk a sink for my rental property and he gave a very clear quote on the phone right way. The price is very reasonable and he charged exactly the same amount as he told you on the phone. He arrived on-time and also communicated well with my tenant. Besides, he also checking some other problems in the condo and tell us if he can repair them or not. Dan was amazing. I had put off a few things due to work schedule and really needed some help. Simple stuff like putting up bedroom blinds and fixing a non flushing toilet. He is not only extremely polite but super qualified at all things. Sometimes it's hard hiring strangers to come in your place but he is 100 percent legit and professional. Don't hire anyone else- Dan is the man and you won't be sorry. Trust me- he's your guy. read more

I bought a window air conditioner when it started getting hot, but I was nervous about installing it in my horizontally-opening windows, so I figured I should find a handyman so that I can be 100% sure the thing won't fall. I perused Yelp and found Dan--he answered my call and immediately set a time to come out and gave me an estimate. He showed up on time, and was very cordial and helpful. After assessing the situation, he figured out a way to secure the air conditioner so that I'm no longer afraid my head will get crushed in the middle of the night! Beyond being competent, though, I'd honestly recommend Dan because he seems like a really nice guy. He was prompt, friendly, and honest--and that's a great thing to find these days! read more

I wish I could write a review. However when he arrived at my building he called me and was very angry that he couldn't find parking. I let him know how he could park under my building for free. He continued to lecture me on how this was my fault and how upset he was. I didn't want someone that angry in my home for any length of time. read more
