Straight up facts and let us make the decisions without feeling pressure. We were happy with Sandy and had no problem leaving the deposit for glass replacement for our house. The guys come out, measured and about 7-8 days later the glass was in. Sandy set up the installation date and we had the job completed very quickly and efficiently. I wish I read the reviews before hiring Redondo Glass. They do not want to be responsible for their very poor work and they are the rudest people in the business. From Sandy who works in the office to the installers to the owner. When I complained about their work I got yelled at by Sandy and she hung up the phone on me. I just wasted $2,300 Below my list of issues: 1) Shower door not wide enough. Their response was that it was normal. Now I have a gap between the door and the panel which is not covered by the plastic seal. 2) Shower door would not stay straight. Whether it is too heavy for hinges or the installer did not tighten it enough. They came back to fix, but the problem comes back immediately. Now they do not want to be back. That was the reason of my last call and I got yelled at and hung on before I could even explain the reason of my call. see pics 3) Panel was not installed correctly. it is at least 1/2 an inch inclined to one side and also not straight on the floor. Thus, when closing the door, the gap increases as it goes down. See pics 4) Installers work in a hurry and last time they did not want to correct their work because it was the end of the day. 5) They never gave me a receipt so now it is hard to get compensated. Redondo glass is a wonderful small company. Sandy is a great manager and coordinated my meeting with the technicians to work with my schedule. She was always available for questions and was responsive over the phone and email when I was deciding on project details. She was also so accommodating, and rushed another glass order I needed so it would arrive on time for the scheduled install date. The technicians Eric and Chris were amazing. When they came in for a consult they asked great questions about the space and even pointed out details I hadn't noticed or even thought to consider. They clearly knew what they were doing and were genuinely interested in helping me come up with the best wind break solution for the back terrace I wanted the install in. I decided to replace 18 ft of deck rail that over the years had become a termite farm. I replaced five sections of plexiglass wind screen, with pencil edge tempered glass.....Having already received two glass bids, I stopped in and talked to Sandy. Since I can't even build a birdhouse, she was extremely patient with me, and fine tuned my measurements for FIVE separate sections of glass.....each with slight variations. Two days later, I had all five sections, and each fit perfectly!!.....The best part was their bid was 63% LOWER than the next lowest bid for the glass. I love these folks. read more

Do yourself a favor and do NOT use these guys.They flaked on their first appointment with my business two weeks ago- no call, no show, nothing. Then they show up the next day and we confirm a mirror installation for a week later. Then leave my coworker a voicemail 2 days prior telling us they could no longer make it because they had another job they needed all their men for. I call the owner and say to him, "it looks like you guys have really bad yelp reviews and now you are about to get another one from me." His reply, "GO ahead, I don't care!!" Nice. This place is the worst. They ordered the wrong French doors and I commented on install that the doors were opening wrong. They said they would call Value that week and correct the issue. Nothing has happened since then. I have left multiple messages and no one calls me back. The installer told me I ordered wrong even though I have proof I ordered correctly. They came out and measured... gave us an estimate...I called a competitor who gave me almost the exact same price. Installation was no problem...have had no problems in the 4 months we've had it. Ditto with the other reviewer! I stopped into their shop at 1:30 on Saturday. Told the guy about my large, heavy glass shower door that needed replacing. I was expecting to make an appointment for another day for them to come to my house but he volunteered to come to my house in an hour as I live around the corner and he had only one other issue to take care of that day. I left my name, address & phone number. He asked if I was going home now, & I said yes, that I would be there waiting. Well, 3 hours passed and no one called or showed. I finally called as I had to walk my dogs, and left a message. NO ONE EVER CAME NOR CALLED.. Wasted my afternoon waiting for someone who had no intention of coming or having the DECENCY to call to say they were not coming. Crap business. read more

We went here because we were told by the proprietor that they did windows for boats- we supplied the old window and new plexiglass- and not only does the window leak, but we had to bring it back twice for them to do a decent job- and they STILL LEAK!! My advice- as sad as it may be- just go to home depot- at least they are professional there. read more

I purchased a new shower glass door system from them about a year ago in 2017. It is June 2018 and yesterday at 2:30pm, my family and I are downstairs, and all of a sudden hear an explosion of glass. I contacted Redondo glass and Sandy answered. She basically stated it was my fault it broke. Mind you, I have 2 very small children and they could have been in there bathing. She was a total bitch and said it was $371 to replace it. Not only that, paint chipped all on my bathroom walls and the frame is so cut up from the glass. She said i would have to replace the frame to from my own pocket. So i hung up in her and I am going to replace the whole system BUT NOT FROM THEM OR THEIR PRODUCTS. please do not buy from them. Had a cracked clear story 'rake' window replaced today. It was on the second story and luckily the guys from Redondo Glass were able to remove the old pane, measure, cut and install a new one within only a couple of hours.
