Precision Glasswork did a great job installing a new sliding glass patio door in our home. Chad and Rose were prompt, courteous, and service oriented. They gave us a great price and quickly came to the house to assess the job. They installed the glass quickly even though it was a challenge to get the old glass out. Then we found a defect so they came back quickly, confirmed the problem, and installed new glass which is perfect. I strongly recommend them! read more

Our shower glass installation with Precision Glasswork unfortunately didn't go as smoothly as we'd have liked. Their installation took four visits (!) including the initial visit to measure. All throughout, the on-hand crew and Rose over the phone were friendly. But they chipped a piece of our new porcelain tile, which happens but is still unfortunate. And there were noticeable imperfections in the corner of one large piece of glass. That isn't their fault but they initially suggested it may be the glazing before the part was reordered, forcing another visit. Finally, I was assured more than once we would not need a support bar, even after I was upsold on higher glass, a change I'm glad we made from a suggestion the crew made. For structural integrity, it was eventually determined we'd need one (they paid for this hardware, which I appreciate). Sigh. The quality of the work appears to be just fine; I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts a long time. Also, the crew was always friendly, but with the issues we had and the number of visits it took, I can't recommend them. read more

We hired Precision Glasswork to install a shower door on an existing glass shower enclosure which had no door. Rose handled the estimate process and was responsive and friendly. The install ended up being much more complicated than expected because the existing glass was not plumb and had to be moved. Despite this, the crew was extremely professional and handled the tricky job without complaint. The result looks amazing and price was reasonable and fair. The owner Chad is also quick to respond to any questions and concerns. I highly recommend Precision Glasswork. read more

Only reviewing their "pre-work" as I haven't been able to get them to actually do the work. Called. Spoke with chad. Told me to email measurements and pictures. Had several emails back and forth. Then nothing got several days. Followed up. Got an apology and "we're busy." Was connected with three other people on the email and a proposal. I approved and sent back. Heard nothing. Couple days later emailed all 4 people again. Called two days later. Emailed again as my last effort. I understand they are busy but I would think at least one of four could email me back and say we don't need/want your business so I could stop wasting my time. I'vreally wanted to like them, but accidentally or purposely, it just ended up being rude. Last thing I need is to give a deposit and then have them disappear again, so I've moved on. -- Update: I received multiple emails after posting this review apologizing. They were sincere and asked for a do-over, explaining they had been crazy busy and had an issue with their emails. So I decided to go for it. Communication still could have been better (i.e. I was asked if a day worked and after saying yes, was told I'd get a call the day before with a time. I never did but did get a call at 7:30 the next morning saying the guys were on their way. Glad i was awake/home!), but the workmen were very nice and professional and the job seems to have been done well. So hopefully the above issue is a one time thing and the good workers/good repair is the norm! read more

Chad and his team at Precision Glasswork are great to work with! I contacted him about a large storefront glass panel that was shattered at our office and sent him a few pictures. He had a very reasonable price back to me within a few hours, and had the whole thing repaired in a couple of days. He kept me informed about what to expect during the project, and the guys that came out to measure and install the glass were on-time and professional. The new glass turned out perfect and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Precision Glasswork. They will be our go-to company for this type of work in the future. read more

I just purchased my first home and it has been a learning experience since day one. I quickly discovered how difficult it is to shower in an unenclosed stall without getting water everywhere. Needless to say, I needed shower doors right away. I called around to get a few quotes and one of them happened to be Chad at Precision Glasswork. I probably had a hundred questions and Chad gladly answered all of them. He helped me choose a style (1/2" frameless glass) and sent me pictures as to what it would look like. He also guaranteed his work and told me that he would come back to adjust the shower doors if they ever needed it. Now keep in mind all the other contractors have a good track records and come recommended, but I chose Precision Glasswork because of the confidence they invoked and the time they took to make me feel 100% comfortable; so comfortable, in fact, that I left Chad my house keys so I didn't have to take a day off from work. Three days later I had glass doors installed in my home, beautifully done. The only hiccup was that the clips were the wrong color. My fear was that I would have to put up with it for as long as I planned to stay in the house. I brought it up with Chad and he came back, took down the doors, changed out the clips, and reinstalled everything all at no charge. Now that's service. Chad at Precision Glasswork is a stand up guy and I give him the highest recommendation. read more

Chad was great to work with in repairing a custom frameless glass shower door. His boots on the ground team were awesome to work with. Pat measured and then brought 2 other guys to get the job done. Also, the whole process was fast, professional and the pricing was very fair. Also, the work done was guaranteed. Highly recommend. read more

Precision Glasswork - Glass & Mirrors Near Me - Torrance, California

Even with Yelp or Angieslist, getting a fair and reliable contractor is difficult. Based on great reviews of Chad's company I emailed Chad to replace a few office windows. After explaining my needs, my follow-up emails requesting an onsite went unresponded; although heralded Chad was unprofessional so I moved on. 2 months later an underling named Perry emails me with some excuses, trying to ask for my business. I need more glasswork too, but I gather Chad doesn't need my business. read more

Chad and his crew inspected and sealed the skylights in my home. They were responsive and prompt throughout the entire process and got the work done on time and at the projected cost. They also alerted me to some debris that was falling on my roof and in my gutters from construction next door, which I really appreciated. When one skylight started leaking again some months later, they came back & resealed it. (They did not install the original skylights, which apparently were not installed incredibly well.) read more

I am very impressed with these people. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING! and their work is great, too! They repaired a broken sliding mechanism on a double hung window that had been nailed shut to keep it from sliding open (broken mechanism!). They came out to assess the job and were back in two days with the right replacement part and fixed the window, nail removal & all, with no damage and even cleaned up after themselves! A true gem - highly recommended. read more

An overall excellent experience. Chad, the owner, is a great guy who was willing to work with me on price. Rose, who runs the office, was exceedingly charming and helpful. The glass shower stall his crew installed is beautiful and sturdy. His workers left the place clean and were a pleasure to have in our home. Highly recommend. read more

Courteous. Competent. Reliable. It was only a few days between window measurements and new glass installation. Good followup via both email and text. read more

The service was very prompt and I'm really happy with the mirror glass they cut for me. Chad was very responsive and his staff was very friendly. I tried getting multiple companies to help me but Precision Glass did not hesitate. I recommend them to get your glasswork needs taken care of. read more

Getting someone to repair an existing frameless glass shower door can be difficult if you don't know who originally installed it - most companies are just interested in selling/installing new ones. I very much appreciated Precision Glasswork for coming out to do a fairly straightforward re-seal of my shower door - scheduling was very easy and work was performed with high quality. read more

I can't say enough good things about Chad and his crew. I received estimates from three contractors and, even though Precision had the most experience with the kind of work we needed for our very minimalist modern home, the best website, and seemed the most professional in our initial meeting, his price was also significantly lower than the other companies. (Like, crazy lower. I still can't believe it.) He was flexible and worked around our sometimes (often) crazy schedule with multiple other trades. He was creative in helping us achieve the clean look we wanted, drawing both on his own experience and researching when needed, and his installers are top-notch. The floors, walls, ceilings, and whatever else in your house might not be perfectly plumb and level, but you can be sure the glass he installs will be. We dealt with dozens of contractors in the course of a major renovation, and Chad is at the top of a short list of *maybe* 2 or 3 I'd use again and recommend to friends. Highly recommended. read more

Chad was the only vendor on the Westside who was able to spring into action to measure and replace a shattered custom shower door that I needed for guests coming the following week. He was incredibly responsive in updating me on his guys' ETA. Most important to me, when they couldn't find the part that his guys had brought to the shop from my home, Chad assured me that delivery would not be delayed, even if he had to buy the replacement part at his own expense. That, to me, is the most important thing to look for in a contractor or sub. read more

Chad provided me with impeccable service. He worked around my schedule and was fast and efficient in providing me with what we needed. I would use them again. read more

Precision Glassworks is an extremely professional and highly skilled glass company. They were extremely responsive to my emails and scheduled the work at my convenience. Craig called me to left me know they were on their way! They arrived on time, took less than and hour to do the work, and followed up same day to make sure I was happy. My job was small, removing 4 bathroom wall mirrors, so Craig very politely informed me there was a minimum charge. It was worth it. I am very happy and will definitely use them again. Precision Glassworks exceeds expectations. read more

Chad and his staff did an excellent job from providing quick/reasonable estimates to the installation of our shower enclosures to the immediate follow-up after the job was completed. Chad kept us apprised of the project status on a regular basis. The workers were more technicians than simply installers who took great care to ensure the job was completed efficiently, accurately, and cleanly. They answered all our questions regarding care of the enclosures and made sure we were completely happy with the job before they left. We were pleased with the results and would most certainly use Precision Glasswork again. read more

I have had a sliding door for years that just got harder and harder to slide open. I called Chad at Precision Glassworks and he came out. He examined the door and then asked if I wanted a new door or just repair the one I had. Usually I am not given that option as other companies just say you need a new door. He repaired the door and it slides like an ice skater on glass. He and Jose were very efficient and helpful...and the price was less than I expected. read more

Our experience with Chad and his installation team was great, but not without a few glitches as is typical with most home improvement projects. Chad was attentive and responsive throughout the project, which required more than one attempt to install a large "wall" of 1/2 inch stationery glass along with a large swinging frameless glass door. His installers worked diligently and into the evening hours in order to get everything just right. We are thrilled with the outcome and are enjoying many steam showers in our airtight enclosed steam room....far better than the one in our previous home! Chad lives up to his promises and we would definitely recommend! read more

Chad and Precision Glasswork were terrific. We did a major remodel in the Pacific Palisades, and Chad did 4 bathrooms. Chad and his team were extremely responsive, professional, and did excellent work. They addressed all issues that came up to make sure the glass was perfect. I highly recommend Chad and PG and will use them again. read more

Chad and his crew were great to work with, true professionals. I was treated as if I were his only client, he promptly returned my emails or phone calls. I was waffling between using him or another larger company, the quality and design I received from them could not be beat. The price he quoted me for a floating shower door was so much cheaper as well and their turn around time was less than a week. I am thrilled with the results. I anticipate renovating additional bathrooms in the new future and I will turn to Chad and his company hands down. read more
