For my initial review, I gave this vendor 1- star because he failed to keep our appointment. Angel reached out to me, apologized and promised to make things right. He came and completed three mini projects for me. I would definitely hire him again. read more

Angel Velasquez Systems - Handyman Near Me - Hawthorne, California

Angel does top notch work, whether it be small repairs or more major projects (repairing water damage to outside wall due to heavy rains the last few years, or painting a family room with excellent prep and immaculate care). He's pleasant to work with, works hard to please, pays careful attention to detail, and cleans up thoroughly the end of each workday. He's so busy, there can be some time delay before he can start a project, but he is dedicated to getting it done. He may not be a "bargain", but the workmanship is well worth the price. read more

We had a great experience with Angel. All items on our repair list were completed in a timely manner and with great workmanship! We highly recommend them for any handyman work you may need! read more

Angel is a very nice guy and very attentive to detail. He's done a great job for us so far and we'll be asking him to do more for us in the future. read more

Angel provided great service & I highly recommend. What stood out to me is when our agreed upon solution to a mysterious smell problem with my restroom dehumidifier (turn off and cover it) didn't work as well as hoped, he came by to try another (pull out pipe with debris and take out dehumidifier engine) for no extra charge. Since it was my first time working with him, I really appreciated that. I will call him in the future. Two notes: 1. Angel mentioned he also does electrical tasks. 2. To contact for first time, it worked best to schedule an appointment on website vs. try to call. Once scheduled I got a text back very quickly. read more

Poor communication and bad service. Would not recommend. Wasted our time after setting a time to receive a quote, did not show up.

What a kind and wonderful person! And a fantastic handyman. my family needed for work done in an unreasonably amount of time. Everyone turned us down, but Angel went out of his way to help. You are an Angel, Angel.. Thank you! read more

Angel was great. He communicated clearly & completed the work quickly. I'll definitely hire him in the future.

Where do I start... I am beyond grateful I found Angel on Yelp. My mother needed a few repairs around her house & after speaking with Angel I was confident he was the right person for the job. We started with broken lever in toilet in bedroom, come to find out the 2nd bathroom had same problem. Angel picked up parts, making 2 trips to hardware store. He also installed shower rod, fixed bedroom curtain rod and kitchen curtains rods As well! All done in a timely professional manner. I wasn't there, as I live 30min away but Angel made sure to send pictures and keep me informed on work progress. My mother was very happy with the work done today & we will definitely be hiring him for future work. A+ on work today! Thank you so much. read more

My wife and I needed a number of different things done around the house - fix a cabinet hinge, replace rollers for kitchen drawers, install a ceiling fan, repair paint a railing - Angel and his team came and did an incredible job. The were on-time, communicative, the work was excellent, and the job came in as quoted. Zero complaints and will 100000% hire them again for any future work. Highly Highly recommend. read more

**GOOD HANDYMAN IN THE SOUTH BAY** Angel has helped us install several of our lighting fixtures in our main house. SERVICE ======= - Professional, on time, and efficient. - Transparent on fees and will let you know what is and what is not included in the overall price. - Wore masks and cleaned after they left. RATING: 5/5 OVERALL ======== Their prices are much more reasonable than others for handyman projects. RECOMMEND for electrical stuff. He showed me some bathroom remodeling photos, so you may inquire for further details for other home projects as well. PRO TIP: Make sure to get an exact quote and take notes. We were initially quoted a different amount for a project (lower price) and when we inquired again, the price was higher. Not to say that you'll get ripped off, but sometimes people do forget. read more

If I could give Angel and his business more than 5 stars I would. Angel has helped me over many years now with a variety of projects, mostly involving furniture assembly, AV installation etc. He's my go-to handyman for anything that needs doing, I'm thankful I found him! Angel is very professional and skilled at what he does, all jobs are completed to the highest standard and he's also a pleasure to work with - super responsive, punctual, efficient and generous with his time. I cannot come up with enough great things to say about Angel and his team. We needed to get our condo in Culver City ready to sell very quickly: painting, patching holes in the wall, and various other repairs. We were referred to Angel by our realtor, and from day one, he went above and beyond to make us feel like his most valuable client. We actually had already left town before we started working with Angel, so I've never met him in person. Despite that fact, he gave us a detailed quote before any work began. Then, once he started working, he was in constant communication: texts, phone calls, even sharing a Google Photos page where he would upload pictures of the work in progress! I have never met another contractor with this level of professionalism and communication. He always presented us with any options that might go outside of the scope of our initial agreement. In the end, the total cost was exactly the same as he had quoted us originally. In the end, the quality of the work was excellent, and we were able to get an offer on our condo the first day it went on the market! This is in no small part thanks to Angel and his team. My only regret is that I did not meet him earlier during my time in Los Angeles. If you are still reading this review, look no further. Call Angel now! read more

Beginning of something big! I just bought my home and needs a lot of TLC. Having hired Angel for the first time, I was very impress by the professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail. I also appreciate the invoice system; something simple, but (again) shows the professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail. I have some pending work orders for Angel, and look forward to working with him again. Great job!! read more

Called Angel and left a message - no response. Sent a text the next day, with the job description. Angel replied and scheduled a walk thru for that evening between 5 -7. NO SHOW & NO COMMUNICATION. He thinks i have time to wait around!! If he doesn't service my city and couldnt tell me when i asked, and disrespectful of one's time, or doesn't have the courtesy or professionalism to call, or is just plain forgetful...then, he did me a favor. Rather find out now, than later, that his words mean nothing. Not good business ethics. read more

Angel installed a hand rail for us, and we are very satisfied with the result. He was skilled, diligent, professional, and friendly.

Professional and personable; would definitely work with Angel again! I needed to replace a ceiling fan with a light fixture on my 15 foot tall ceiling and didn't have the means or manpower. I called around a few places on Yelp, and Angel was not only the quickest to respond, but also the easiest to work with in accommodating with my schedule. On the day of the installation, Angel made sure to cover my living room with plastic lining around the work area to make sure everything was protected. While setting up, he was entirely friendly and even gave me great food recommendations around the area since I had just moved into the neighborhood. The job took quite the effort (it was a 2-man job with his business partner, Julio), but the light came out looking great! When they were done, Angel not only clean up the plastic lining, but he also vaccumed up loose debris/styrofoam! It's been a week since and the light fixture hasn't fallen down on me, so I'm gonna give Angel a solid 5! I will definitely be reaching out again if I need any work done around the house that I just can't handle on my own. read more

Angel does fantastic work for a reasonable price and I plan to hire him again soon. I destroyed a under sink cabinet floor (on accident) while doing a bathroom remodel and needed help to get started again. I just couldn't get started again after I did that, it just froze my momentum. Angel came right over after we spoke, discussed his rates and got to work immediately after he arrived which is EXACTLY what I needed. He had his own set of high quality tools, including some I didn't have (like an airless Milwaukee Fuel nailer) which is surprising since I have nearly everything. He quickly figured out a solution, found wood that would work, ran plywood through my table saw like a pro and he quickly reconstructed the floor, which is now likely unbreakable. Angel charged a VERY reasonable amount of time which was really nice, and makes me want to hire him again soon for more jobs. I think he could do about any job around the house since he is very knowledgeable, has good work habits and he well understands home repair. Bottom Line: HIRE ANGEL! read more

Found Angel here on Yelp and both my husband and I are very impressed with him. He did not, or should I say, does not disappoint as he's still completing projects both large and small for us. He's not only professional and meticulous but an all around kind, honest and respectful guy and someone that you feel comfortable with being in your home. He really goes out of his way to get the job done right with a lot of attention to detail so you never feel like he's rushing at all no matter how small the job is. Do not hesitate to contact him! Excellent service, kept in constant contact with me as I could not be on site. Highly recommend Angel.

I had a long list of items that needed to be attended to on my house before I could rent it. The list ranged from fixing the drain on the tub, to installing a new gas line for a bar-b-que on the deck, to fixing a hole in the stucco and many more. I set up a time with Angel to come over and inspect the house. He was on time, friendly and knowledgeable about all the items that needed to be addressed. Luckily Angel was able to schedule the work a few days later which was great because I was on a tight time schedule. He also gave me a very reasonable price. He kept me informed of his progress during the day. At the end of the job I met Angel at the house so we could inspect the work. All the work had been done exactly how I wanted it and everything was neat and tidy. I was very impressed. I would defiantly recomend his company to anyone looking for a high quality handy man service. read more

Angel is the greatest!! He has done so many projects in my home. From hanging large mirrors, beautifully refinishing a buffet, installing two large ceiling fans and air conditioners, neatest job of room painting ever!! Not one drop of paint splashed or spilled!! I had a skylight in the den which added up to 20 degrees of additional heat to the room. This room was practically unlivable during the summer. Angel took on the job of covering. He carefully measured and built the most perfect skylight covering! I now enjoy my den during summer Angel's work is perfection! I have referred him to family and friends. Angel is honest, professional and has an immeasurable work ethic. Angel arrives at the promised time and never leaves until the job is completed. I recently needed work done on the residence I was moving out of. Given the world we live, I am very selective and also protective when it comes working with any service provider. This is the first project that Angel has provided service on for me and from my very first phone call, I was treated as a high priority from start to finish. Angel has integrity and is straightforward; he walks you through the process every step of the way and provides consultation before finalizing any work to be completed. Angel provides constant communication and status updates to reassure you of the work that has been agreed upon. All work was completed in a very professional and timely manner. It's taken me a long time to find someone trustworthy and reliable. From this project moving forward, I will be using Angel's services in the future. read more
