I love going to The River City Trading Post, and it's right across the parking lot, so it was convenient. I did notice they are on the pricey side... This place is awesome! We recently moved to the area, and we were in the a joining restaurant for breakfast one day when I realized that this great little cookie bakery is connected. It was a few days before my daughter's second birthday, and I have not made plans for a cake. They were able to get us in for a cookie cake with Paw Patrol characters in about 48 hours turnaround time. The cookie cake was great, and everybody loved it. We've gone back and tried a few cookie flavors, all of which were great! Will definitely be regulars here! read more

I had been inside cookiedoodle before (mostly because it's connected to a little cafe type restaurant that I've been to a couple times) but had never ordered or tried anything from there. Well someone brought it to a recent meeting, and it's a game changer! So at the meeting was an assortment of cake pops, enough for everyone there to try one flavor. There was red velvet, oreo, caramel, chocolate, German chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, white wedding cake, and peanut butter. I wish I could have tried them all (especially in hindsight!), but I ended up grabbing the raspberry. I thought it might be a little more unique than just getting chocolate or something. Very happy with my choice!!! I realized I haven't really had a ton of cake pops in my lifetime, but I can say that this one was probably the best I've ever had... It was so delicious!!!!! The chocolate on the outside was yummy. It was nice and solid but was the kind that still kind of melts in your mouth. And then the cake on the inside was extremely moist (sorry for those who hate that word lol), almost to the point that it didn't even taste like cake! As I ate more and began to put my finger on what the texture was/ what it reminded me of, I realized that it was so gushy that it was almost like eating some kind of hybrid between cake and cookie dough. In that way, I guess it almost seemed like the cake wasn't super cooked, but in a good way, because obviously I really liked it. Plus, the raspberry flavor was so good. It was strong but not too powerful. Since I wasn't the one who paid for the treat, I don't know how expensive it was. Generally, I think little things like this can be overpriced and I'm (possibly wrongly) assuming that about these cake pops. After all, no matter how good it was, it's just a small cake pop. So for me at least, it can be really hard spending much money on something like that, like if a few cake pops is gonna be like $5 I think that's kind of a lot for what they are (but maybe that's just me and I sound too cheap). I tried looking on their website to find out the price, but cake pops weren't even listed there (??) so I really don't know what the bang for buck is and can't speak on that :/ Anyway, literally just based on one single cake pop, I want to get more goodies from cookiedoodle. I'm assuming everything else there is just as good but I'll have to see! Yum! read more

Must visit! Found this gem while having lunch in the area. So glad we stopped in to grab some treats to take back to our hotel for later. I LOVE this place! Every Christmas I visit Tulsa from LA and can't leave without stopping by and buying almost every cookie! Literally nothing is bad here! I've had the snickerdoodles, frosted sugar cookies (which are so cute and perfectly decorated!), the French toast cookie, the s'mores cookie, Oreo, peanut butter chocolate, etc! Anything you get here is going to be amazing and delicious. I never leave without buying at least 7 cookies! All their gourmet cookies are nice and chewing with the perfect amount of whatever flavor they are in it. My most favorite ones are the French toast cookie and the Oreo cookie. The French toast cookies is cinnamony goodness with a hint of maple. And the Oreo cookie has the perfect amount of Oreos in them with white chocolate in a perfect sugar cookie dough. Oh I can't say enough good things about this place and how good it is. I'm looking forward to visiting here soon! 10/10 must try place! read more

I'm only giving them three stars because of past cookies I've purchased here and past good service. Just popped in to buy maybe a dozen cookies or more and they had none except for a handful apparently old from yesterday. What?! They're busy working on custom orders but haven't filled the glass case for walkins. I know they've gone through a change in ownership and of course everyone uses "Covid" as a good excuse but that seems like one of the first things I should get going in the morning. I was told at 11 o'clock it would be still a few more hours before they had cookies available. :( read more

I bought one of each flavor of cupcake minus the German chocolate because I'm just not a fan. I brought them to an impromptu birthday party and they were a huge hit! Moist, flavorful, beautiful to look at. They were all devoured within minutes. My favorite would be the chocolate, red velvet, and lemon cupcakes. read more

The business has grown and flourished because of their amazing owner who continues to treat every customer as her number one customer. They moved to a new location and offer a variety of items to include cupcakes, cake balls, gelato, etc. along with continuing to make custom cookies. Cakes have also been an amazing addition. Well previously I had some pretty good experience here. But this last visit, I had a terrible experience. I had to ask about 4 times to be helped. Both workers were sitting at the table, one was doing what appeared to be home work. The other, one was on her phone. After the 4th request the one on her phone rolled her eyes and stomped over asking me "what do you want?" I placed my order (a large order) when it was rang up, I paid in cash. The very reluctant worker litterally asked me if I wanted my change back. When I said "well yea" she responded "fucking figures". My items were less than gingerly bagged up then plopped on the counter. I noticed that a couple cookies had broken, I pointed that out And asked for them to be replaced. She responded with a quick "no" just no. No explination, nothin. I stepped out to speak to my husband, when I walked back in this is what I heard 'Hailey' the employee who waited on me told the other "That nasty bee-otch thinks she's not gonna tip and have me fix her broken shit. Fuck that bitch" I was peachless. I didn't even know what to say or do. I asked for my money back that she could keep the cookies. She just walked away, went back to the table, sat down and picked up her phone and ignored me. I attempted to speak to the young man at the table with them who also ignored me. The other female worker did not get up and help either. The male did not have a cookie doodle shirt on, maybe an employee maybe not just left without my cookies & without my money. When addressing the manager the next day she didn't appoligse, she didn't didn't offer to reimburse me. No attempt to make it right. read more

There was a good frosting to cupcake ratio (very important) and the cupcakes were moist and STAYED MOIST for days after buying them. Seriously debating on getting another Groupon. The absolute cutest bakery! They have everything from cookies to lemon bars to edible ice cream and gelato! Everything looked delicious and they let me sample the cookie dough when I couldn't decide which flavor to get. I loved the variety and they even had vegan gluten-free cookies! I went with a lemon bar and a small cup of the sprinkle cookie dough but I will be back! The staff is so friendly- support local businesses and check them out! read more

I have been to Cookiedoodle twice and has a very different experience with each visit. I would highly recommend their cookies. I tried the lemon, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter cup and loved them all. Rich and buttery and soft in the middle like a cookie should be. The second time, I bought a wedding cupcake and a birthday cupcake and did not care for them. So disappointing. The cake part of the cupcake was great, moist and flavorful, but the icing is terrible. Doesn't taste like true buttercream. It tastes like it is made exclusively of Crisco and powdered sugar. The creaminess you get with a true buttercream is not there and the icing is cloyingly sweet. They still need to work on their icing. If you go to this place, buy the cookies and stay away from the cupcakes. read more

I couldn't try everything I saw but oh how I wanted to. The sugar cookie was fluffy and flavorful. The cupcakes were incredible. I was just going to have a half of one and I ended up eating 2. Yum. A friend of ours had custom cookies made by this wonderful shop for their housewarming party. The cookies not only looked amazing but were very delicious. Disclaimer: I have not been in the shop to se the selection or experience the customer service first hand but I was impressed with the sweets we were offered. At times you must sacrifice taste for design--not with these cookies. The artistic rendering of the house on the treat was detailed and wonderfully done. The taste was splendid. I ordered gourmet cookies and a cookie cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. Everything was great! They put princesses on the cookie cake and my daughter was thrilled with how they turned out. I especially liked that the cookie cake was not covered in too much frosting, we were able to have pieces with small amounts (or no frosting) or pieces covered in frosting which was great for little kids or just personal tastes. This place is a true gem in Jenks! I found it by chance and now literally plan my cheat days around when I can get back to the area. I have sent messages to the owner before I make my hour and a half drive (each way) to make sure I can get what I want and she is incredibly accommodating and responsive. They have edible cookie dough which I am addicted to and they have an orange cookie that is not always on the menu but is my absolute favorite which is odd because I am usually not that much of an orange fan. This thing is delicious! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. The last time I went (August) they were remodeling and adding a cafe which should add even more great options. read more
