The Sweet Shack Creamery is a cute ice cream shop serving over fifteen flavors of ice cream in downtown Jenks. When I entered, I was greeted by the smell of ice cream, the view of vibrant pink and blue colors of the store, and what looked like massive sprinkles on the wall. There were a few people in front of me in line, but it moved quickly and there was minimal time waiting. After sampling several different flavors, I settled on Bake Shoppe. This is a cookie dough ice cream with large chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie bites scattered throughout the creamy ice cream. Pricing was about $5 for a single scoop, which is in line with similar stores. There was plenty of seating throughout the store, and each room contained a different theme. These themes included a game room and a music room. There is also plenty of outdoor seating as well. Despite there being quite a few people savoring the beautiful summer evening on the front patio, I found an open seat and watched the traffic of downtown Jenks roll by the shop as I enjoyed my ice cream. read more

The ice cream was pretty good--we tried the amaretto cherry, the Pot Hole, and the Sea Turtle. I loved the inventiveness of the last two. The place was packed when we were there and the guy that was working was swamped but he was efficient and had a great attitude. I loved the vintage sodas and candies that were stocked and I will probably be back to buy some gifts here. When was the last time you saw candy cigarettes. Get your pack here. If you're looking for a sweet treat with a throw back soda shop vibe, then I highly recommend stopping in. We went for ice cream, and it did not disappoint. You can sample flavors before landing on your pick. There are specialty sodas and candies available as well. Once you pick your flavor(s), you can get a cone or a cup, a sundae, or a shake. It's pretty small inside, but there's outdoor seating as well. The woman running the place was really friendly and efficient. Service with a smile. read more

A classic creamery! What a great little gem! This place has the look and feel of an old ice cream shoppe. My family decided to stop in the other day, since we've driven past so many times. The small shop could probably only accommodate 8-10 people standing. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. My kids were super excited to get their scoops, and I opted for a shake (which can be made with any of their ice creams). VERY good ice cream, great selection of flavors, and they have a decent soda and classic candy selection as well. We will definitely be back... highly recommend! read more

This is the perfect, quaint, nostalgic little ice cream shop (and more)! The homemade ice cream is smooth, creamy, and delicious. You can try as many flavors as you'd like. There are so many specialty candies, sodas, and candy from my childhood. A room is set-up to watch a movie and play games. There is also a space off to the side that sells local merchandise. My only regret is not coming here sooner. We will stop here every time we are in the area! Lastly, service is amazing! The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and interactive (even remembered us when we stopped by on our way out of town the next day!) This is such a cool place! We need something like this in Edmond!! So this beautiful ice cream gem is in Jenks, Oklahoma! It's in their downtown area, soo absolutely charming! They have incredible unique ice cream flavors you just don't find in this part of the country. Whenever I am lucky enough to find Superman ice cream, I buy it. Now be warned. This ice cream is expensive. Do I care that it is? No, I don't. I don't care at all. I'm honestly used to paying more for unique ice cream, as I have visited other unique places in my travels! I wish I lived in the area so I could take a pint home with me to graze on later. The ice cream is absolutely delicious! My husband and I were looking for a new little place to take our little girl after we went on a hike, ice cream sounded perfect! This is the cutest little shop we have ever been in! They have a whole back room with board games and a tv which was playing Toy Story when we came in, I can't recall his name, but the lovely man who served us was just the best! Anniversary cake tasted like a homemade yellow cake with some sprinkles and the Superman flavor tasted like fruit loops! So yummy! Great and friendly service! It has all the little town feels inside the shop, some nights the line is super long (that's how you know it's good) but definitely worth the wait. the staff are always super friendly, and want you to love their ice cream too! they give great suggestions and let you try the flavors as well. we also love that you can buy pints of their ice cream too! this place has easily become our guilty pleasure! read more

Their ice cream could be great but if they don't care about their customer's health and safety- they don't deserve my business and I'll be vocal for others to avoid this creamery as well. Craving some yummy, creamy ice cream? This is the place to go!!! When you walk in, the creamery has the cutest environment. It is very small so it's difficult to maneuver if a lot of people are there. You are welcomed with smiling faces and very good service. If you haven't been there before they will tell you the history and where the ice cream comes from. They allow you to sample the ice cream. I got the rush hour. It is coffee ice cream with caramel and some chocolate in it. So good!! They also recently just started making their own waffle cones! I will for sure be going back! The only bad part is I live too close to this place and my diet going out the window. read more

I love this business, every time I go in there it brings back wonderful memories from my childhood seeing candy that you can't find in the grocery and convenience stores. Do you remember Chick-o-stick crunchy candy or wax bottles with sweet liquid inside and chewing on the wax afterwards? If you miss some of those or want to let your children try something from your youth, this is the place to go! VERY friendly and a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. We have driven by this place several times and finally decided to stop in for dessert last night. I am so glad we did! There are several different ice cream flavors (16 I believe) that range from original chocolate and vanilla to caramel, peanut butter and coffee flavors as well! You can get your ice cream in a cup, a cone or even made into a shake if you like! They also have a whole wall of different candy and specialty drinks. One drink that stood out to me was the Duff (Yes, that Duff from The Simpson's). We can't wait to go back and try more flavors! Make sure you get a punch card so after your 10th visit you get a free ice cream treat. read more

I am so glad we finally stopped in here! I hope I'm getting this right, but the serve an ice cream brand shipped in from Michigan, and it is absolutely delicious! I've had ice cream from some other places that has been shipped and I honestly tend to be disappointed, but at Rustic Gate, it is fresh, smooth, creamy, and honestly delicious. They are very open to allowing samples if you are unsure what you want to try, and are great at providing suggestions as well! Their website lists flavors, but not what the names mean, so if you're curious, I'll be posting the flavor profiles in the pictures of this review. The shop itself is in the heart of downtown Jenks and is absolutely adorable with an old school feel, ice cream cone statue out front, and even some retro candies and sodas! You can make floats, Italian sodas (try pomegranate and mango together, it's amazing!!), milkshakes, sundaes, or just grab a scoop or two in a cup, cake cone, or waffle cone. They even have a variety of candy toppings you can scoop on top for just a few cents more. The people here are extremely helpful and friendly, and we are so excited to go back! This place is awesome! My family and I happened to drive by this place one day on our way to Braum's and decided to try it out - SO HAPPY we did! The Ice cream is amazing to say the least, By far the best we've had in a long time. The man we spoke with took the time to talk to us about each flavor, where the Ice cream was made, and was happy for us to try them all out! I've taken several photos of the shop and what it offers. After eating my cupcake, I went to look for goodies for my little one. When I went to pay, I was surprised to see how much I paid for two small items. To me, it was costly. Especially for one of them. I t was alright as they were gifts. Overall, it was a really delicious scoop and felt well worth it. I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m., and it was already fairly busy with families, moms, and young kids. I imagine it gets even busier in the evenings, especially during the summer after dinner. Overall, it is a neighborhood-friendly spot with great ice cream and a fun neighborhood feel.

They have frozen treats including signature swirls and shakes. You can choose your flavor --vanilla or pineapple whip (lactose free). Then choose cone or cup and add your toppings ($1 each). The candy toppings are pretty extensive, from Reese's to gummy worms and sprinkles. You can also add syrups and fruit toppings. They have 13 signature swirls including Route 66 (vanilla soft serve with strawberry, hot fudge, whip cream and cherry) and piña colada (pineapple whip soft serve blended with coconut cream and coconut pieces). I tried their pineapple whip in a waffle cone with chocolate syrup. My husband tried their vanilla big boy cup ($6) with Reese's and butterfinger.
