My wife ordered Chicken Tajine with caramelized Prunes and Apricot. I ordered Beef Pastila, a phyllo dough filled with beef stew and almond paste topped with honey. It was absolutely delicious. I almost wanted to call it Beef Baklava because the drizzle of honey over the phyllo dough reminded me of Baklava. We really liked the more intimate, smaller space of the restaurant. When weather permits there is some outside seating. There is a breakfast menu which I have not ordered from yet. Maybe next visit. Overall the experience here was great albeit the service was slow. I'd much rather support a locally owned small restaurant than a chain restaurant any day of the week.
