This was the hubby's and my first trip to scope out Cricket & Fig Chocolate. I will say this, for a neighborhood shopping strip it is tucked in nicely. We stopped by to pick up some chocolate to take to my aunt on Saturday, when we visit after my cousin's funeral. I also picked up some pate de fruit(fruit jelly pieces) to try as well(they were yummy. About 2 pieces at a time is a good serving.They are pretty sizable pieces). This is definitely going on my Tulsa Munchies list to come back to. I also found out the name of the establishment is after the owners two pooches. 2 years ago my sister sent to me for Christmas (in Portland, OR) a beautiful box filled with a lovely selection of maginificent chocolates.(Obviously, this gift left me quickly running out of new superlatives even though I know that I don;t have a vocabulary large enough to describe adequately my delight with the variety of flavors to be found there.) Again this year she has been generous and gracious in sending yet another sumptuous and varied sampling of some of my life's best chocolate flavors. I am so grateful. IMPRESSED!! What a great candy shop/coffee shop/cafe!! They have homemade exquisite gourmet chocolates, a beautiful expresso maker making a full coffee bar, they also serve breakfast and lunch. I will admit...I did think the prices were a bit high. But I will say the ingredients are very fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with melted Swiss cheese. It was delicious and perfection! The presentation was nice. They served it with my favorite type of lettuce....butter lettuce. The bun was so good and buttery and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The owner mixed me up some honey mustard on the spot and it was the best I've ever had. You can tell they use only the best quality of ingredients, so I do understand why the prices are a bit higher. I appreciate such quality and freshness. Honestly the place was so well put together, even down to the glasses. They were so clean and the ice you could taste the pureness of it. My coke was so crisp! I will definitely be going back there for lunch. I will probably split my meal if I'm with someone, because we were both very full. I want to try their breakfast as well!! Sounds delicious. They have yogurt with your choice of fruit and their in house granola. I bet that's amazing. The breakfast burrito will most likely be my choice tho. The restaurant is very clean and orderly down to all the chairs at the bar facing the same slanted direction. I love how the owner has such a cool handle on the front door. This is a very nice coffee, simple but upscale lunch spot. I just ran in to purchase some of their beautiful chocolates to take as gifts. So I didn't take the time to look at their food menu. But it was a pretty place with lots of space around tables, a marble bar you could at or a little sitting nook in the corner, that looked inviting for reading. I'll definitely be back. Super adorable place in a cute shopping center. Very cheerful, lots of dog art. Make sure you tip well here because the guy at the counter does everything. He is a cashier, barista, server, busboy, and chef and he's doing an amazing job. We were expecting a more extensive breakfast menu according to the yelp picture. There were muffins, scones, burritos, toast, oatmeal, yogurt and some sides. The muffins and scones are quite small but very good flavor, especially the cheddar scone. The burritos are very large, everyone enjoyed. Our decaf almond cappuccino was so good it didn't even taste like decaf. Loved our experience, was more elevated than a regular coffee shop. I am a regular, so I feel qualified to say that most customers split the "single serve" salad, Others ask for a box, because they can't finish it. She cut him off before he could finish. That isn't up selling. As far as acoustics, I would be interested to know what restaurant doesn't get noisy when crowded. It isn't a music venue. My husband and I went here to see a friend's band play. I had a hot chai and he had a nitro coffee. Both were good. He ordered the burger for dinner and I ordered the grilled cheese. He was so so on the burger because he's extremely picky but my grilled cheese was great. It had a parmesan crust along with a different type of cheese inside which was nice and rich but not overly so. The potato salad that came with it was different from the typical potato salad and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back again and have dinner. It was such a charming little place. Then we had some chocolates. They have an in-house chocolatier. We each ordered three for a box of six and ate them right there. How do I get more stars to show? This is a once in a lifetime find. The menu is not fancy but everything is expertly prepared with ingredients second to none. Excellent flavor profiles, perfectly cooked ... you will enjoy your meal. The place has a decent, comfortable decor but is not fancy. This is not a high end place but you wouldn't know it if someone brought you food to go. The staff is incredible. Randy, Daniel, Kat, et. al. do an outstanding job, are very friendly, very helpful. Prices are reasonable. I like the place so much I joked about having to get an apartment near by so I could drop in daily. And don't forget to have one of the in-house, top-of-the-line chocolates for dessert. And don't say I didn't warn you. But the real reason you should come here is for their canelé de bordeaux. When something is made only one day a week (in this case, on Saturdays) it's generally a really promising sign. These exceptionally hard to perfect pastries, with a dark, crusty, caramelized exterior and soft, custard my interior are therefore also exceptionally rare. With a storied history, these French pastries are a specialty treat nearly impossible to find. I suggest you buy one, try it on the spot, then determine how many more you want to get. read more

There is a sit down bar counter and individual tables. It looks like Illy coffee drinks like in Italy is served.
