I've loved this ice cream shop since day 1. The most brilliant invention is a flight of ice cream because who wants to decide on only 1 or 2 flavors. Give me 6 please. Every bite was delicious too. I love the names they had for the Ch 6 weather team themed ice creams! Von's was my favorite! And I could bathe in the banana pudding one. And the honeycomb lavender. A great local ice cream place. All their flavors are very unique. This time I tried a scoop of the Vegan Pandan flavor at their Mother Road Market location. The flavor and texture were great, especially for a vegan option. Their stall is bright and the menu is clear. It's a great addition to Mother Road Market. I think I found my new favorite ice cream flavor! I got a scoop of coconut cream pie ice cream! It was fabulous. I tried a few other flavors and they were all tasty. All around, the ice cream here is just great! My daughter can't have us drive past MRM without hollering, "blue ice cream?!!" We come to Mother Road quite a bit and always make sure to get something from Big Dipper. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the flavors are yummy and unique! I love the vegan midnight Oreo and the lavender honeycomb, and my toddler loves the Walk In The Fair or "blue ice cream" as she calls it. The ice cream is creamy and flavorful. Sooooo disappointing! We had 4 different flavors and they were all pretty tasteless. Braum's is twice as good for half the price. I love supporting local business and I'd have no issue with the price, if the ice cream was good. Unfortunately, it just wasn't. It was so delicious o forgot to take a picture! My mom and I went on an ice cream date to Mother Road Market to Big Dipper Creamery on a Thursday around 8pm. It was perfect, great parking, quick service, clean tables, no lines! We did the ice cream flight of 6 mini scoops but they were bigger than I expected & it was under $10 with a tip. It was so fun! They have so many different cool flavor ideas! But it always comes down to me getting lavender and honeycomb. out of curiosity with flavors such as honeycomb lavender, okie afternoon & a few other options (& samples), i went with the ooey gooey butter cake. this option was far from a letdown. some of the best ice cream i've had in my life. they have A LOT to choose from, from flavors to cones, bowls, ice cream sandwiches & so forth. playing it "safe" with it being my first visit, i went with one scoop. the employee that was working at the time was extremely helpful & even served WAY more than a single scoop. he also took care of my daughter, which goes a long way with me. the ooey gooey butter cake is perfection. more than enough cake to get in every bite. the employee offered waffle cone wedges, which you can scoop into the ice cream outside of the spoon, it's a nice alternative. outside of my selection, there were numerous flavors that i couldn't even remember & after reading a previous review, they have rotating menus. basically, if you're set on something but end up changing your mind selecting something else just to think it'll be around the next visit, i wouldn't risk it. they have dairy free & vegan choices as well. something for everybody. i ate light before getting here, the ice cream left me full! my daughter barely finished hers (& she can eat). i will be coming back for more, like the flights they have on wednesdays from 5-9pm. 3 scoops for $3. that'll be an even better way to try out the eye catching flavors they have to choose from. read more

This is a great place for dessert, one one of the two (I'm pretty sure) places in Mother Road Market to get vegan dessert. This spot has had at least two vegan choices each time we've been. I have liked all of the ones the wife and I have tried. They seem to always have chocolate and the other options seems to rotate. The blueberry lemon has been my fav of the rotations. So, I can't speak to their non-vegan flavours but just the two vegan options is enough. They have always been so good. They also let you try flavours before committing to a whole scoop, which I very much appreciate. When compared to the other places around Tulsa that have vegan ice cream/gelato, this place is on par. Some flavours here are better than other spots' and the opposite is also true. But, again, I've not been upset with anything I've had here. It's all been very tasty. read more

Tiny scoops. And every flavor we tried was bad. My kids threw it away The mint had 1 embarrassing bitter chocolate chunk. The caramel ganache was nauseating. The cotton candy had no essence of CC. The lavender tasted like soap- not enjoyable lavender dessert flavor which we usually love. We bought 2 flights because we love ice cream & have been looking forward to trying them read more

We went to the new location in Sand Springs today and it was just as incredible as the one in the mother road! The vegan ice cream was amazing, there are so many flavors adults and kids can enjoy. I love this place. It's small, it's fun and their branding is perfect. Salted Caramel? Yes, please. Pony boy cake ice cream? Life changer. Their ice cream is made in small batches and I can taste every ounce of freshness and love. On one hand I like the rotating menu because you can always try new things..but when you find a fav and you can't always get it, it's devastating. The literal only other downside is that I can't always make a quick run to this place because they are located inside the Mother Road Market and are closed on Mondays! So basically, my only complaints about this place is that I can't have what I want exactly when I want it. Excited to watch them grow and expand! read more

When I first moved to Tulsa, Mother Road Market was on the top of my list because of my love for variety offered in a food hall. This ice cream joint did not disappoint! Without a doubt the best, most unique ice cream shop I have been to. Not your ordinary flavors. I was told, all of the 16 flavors, or so, are made right there in their store. I had the ooey gooey butter cake and my wife had the salted caramel ganache. Both were outstanding! The waffle cones are homemade and not to be missed. The Mother Road Market is an experience in itself, with many different choices of local flavors and a very hip vibe. Definitely will be a regular customer. read more

I tried ice cream today, and it was amazing. But it's very expensive. My 1 small scoop in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl was $12. Staff were insanely friendly though! All 3 people in the store greeted me and were super great. It's big inside compared to others I've been in too.

They were pretty nice and crispy which was nice. Overall I probably won't be back unless they add more flavors to try out.

It's basically baked goods with different fillings inside. The Nutella filling was the best flavor. I also loved the dough, similar texture as mochi donuts. Soft serve ice cream was also good. I really liked the vanilla/taro flavor and would recommend this flavor. I also liked the trendy vibe of this shop, targeting a younger audience. There's a 25% discount when check-in on Yelp however the code has been deactivated. I got one of the workers to help me with the discount and he was able to use a different code to give me 25% off. Great place for a different type of desserts. I would highly recommend.

Our family ordered: the BootDaddy Concrete, Snowmonster Concrete, Butter Pecan Concrete, James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, Rico Suave Jackhammer, Tin Roof Sundae, and a kid's sundae with strawberry topping. It is rare that I will eat frozen custard, and I will usually order the smallest size because I try to watch my caloric intake. I ordered the Butter Pecan Concrete, and it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing. My family was amazed! It was thick, creamy, not too sweet, with the buttery, roasted pecans. I could eat those pecans all day long! Next time, I would like to try the root beer float.
