Every time I visit Tulsa, I visit Braum's. It's probably the main reason why I gained so much weight while I lived there, but it's also one of the best ice cream places I've ever been to. And they have a full menu, so it's not just ice cream, which is great, unless you're trying to lose weight. They have several locations throughout the city and they're not just in Tulsa. If you're in that part of the country, definitely give it a try. You'll be happy with it. read more

90° as I write my review. I think that's a good enough reason to go to Braum's drive-through and get a medium chocolate malt shake which is exactly what I did. Did I mention no whip? Well, chocolate malt shake no whip. And it is perfectly delicious. The few places that still have malted shakes never seem to have enough malt in them. This shake is absolutely perfect. I don't know her name but the older black lady making the ice cream always makes it a 0/10 experience. When she messed up my order bc she was in so much of a hurry, she tried blaming it on me, and then told me to "quit talking to her" as I asked for the correct order. I then received a "mix" with all of my toppings sitting right on top, and with the incorrect ice cream flavor. This isn't an isolated instance, either. It's every single time. 0/5. read more

To follow up on my "cheesey" review: the cheeseburger w/ ONLY cheese. Hubby had ordered the burger for me at drive through. He *specifically* said, "Cheese burger w/ letteuce, tomato, onion, pickles w/ "special sauce" on the side and please put mustard on the burger instead." Instead he rec'd my slab of mustard. This was going to be a 4 or 5, but all it takes is one employee... My service was great, and folks were friendly. I thought the store was pretty clean, and had a nice chat with fellow customers. Ate my ice cream and was chillin, when I witnessed a handicapped gentleman who had been shopping in the store hobbled up to a uniformed worker sitting at the front table and request to be checked out...to which she responded with attitude "you need to find someone else, I'm on break." I watched this man hobble back to get his groceries while this on break employee sitting up front in the restaurant, in uniform, went back to texting. I got up, went to the counter and requested they send someone to grocery to check this gentlemen out, which they did. Took me 30 seconds, and I was at the far end of the restaurant. It would have taken "I'm on break" less time than that, she would have helped the customer, and helped her team...nope...too busy. The world revolves around me. Take care of your customers...learn what customer service means, and especially respect those with special needs. Every employee is entitled to a break, no argument, but as long as you are in the customer's view, in uniform, you are an agent of that business. Take your break in a far corner of the store, not in the highest traffic area. read more

These workers demonstrated most poor performance whilst I visited this particular Braum's location. I ordered a chocolate shake, the easiest recipe in the book. I figured that it would be a cakewalk to make, alas it was not. I received a shake cup merely 25% full of ice cream. I write this review waiting for my shake to thaw from its almost frozen and undrinkable state. Shame on you, Braums. -Seriously, get y'all's act together. Stopped to heat here while on a road trip. Reasonably priced food, the kids loved the ice cream. Food was pretty good. We all left happy.

They have quite a few gluten free products right before the register, will experiment with a GF brownie mix. UPDATE!!!! The gluten free brownies are delicious! Better than any regular flour recipe or mix! I bet all their the King Arthur Flour brand GF mixes are good, will try others. Since coming to Oklahoma 2 weeks ago, I've been practically asking every single person that I meet where are some good places to go for food. Many have suggested that I go to Braum's for some ice cream and burgers. Due to today's gloomy, humid weather, I decided to make a trip here after dinner. When I entered, there were only 2 people in front of me. The service wasn't fast, but it wasn't slow either. I'm glad that I wasn't first in line because I needed a moment to decide what I wanted anyway. I ended up getting a 2 scoop cone, since it only cost $2 and the 1 scoop cost about $1.40. Of course, I had to make the most logical and economical decision, right? There are probably around 15-20 different ice cream flavors - none of the flavors stood out to me as too crazy. So I stuck to my usual favorite - butter pecan. For my second scoop, I got I think it was cappuccino chocolate crunch or something like that. Both flavors were very tasty and the size of the scoop was very generous. The ice cream wasn't overly sweet and was not icy. The waffle cone was tasty too. This isn't the best ice cream I ever had, but for only $2, this is easily the best valued ice cream I ever got. I'll definitely need to get ice cream here again before I leave Tulsa! This place seems to be a local favorite. On my way out, the line had about 10 people in it. I think this is the most crowded I have ever seen at an eatery in Tulsa. read more

The food is good but I wish the staff wore gloves, especially during a pandemic. They do not wear gloves while scooping your ice cream. Also the door says masks required but plenty of people are not wearing one. The whole place is kind of dirty. The drink and condiment station is especially dirty. Horrid experience. Saw the young man with blue hair stick his finger into the steaming hot fudge just to pull it out and put the finger in his mouth. We had to wait 18 minutes in the drive-through with no one else in line and the staff did not say a word to us when we paid or received our food. They glared at us through the window the entire time. I stopped into this location earlier tonight to grab dinner to go. Got a burger, fries and a drink, basic order. Many fast food joints would manage to screw it up, but this was perfect to a T! And the staff actually listened to my order, I made a few specific requests and they got everything right. But one thing struck me more than anything else. The customer in front of me when I came in had lost a gift card and thought she may have thrown it away on accident. The staff separated into two groups, one looking for the card in the trash and the other helping customers, until they found it. After it was found, the server apologized for the delay (maybe three minutes) and I told her it was fine. read more

The employees were incredibly rude, and always get your orders wrong, and when they fix the order, it either is: A) Still wrong or B) Definitely not done with a smile Mr. Braums would be EXTREMELY angry with these blatantly crappy staff. I love Braum's but will never go to this one again. Order, was incorrect., No drink, then the wrong drink, no ice cream, no napkins, no straw. Ice cream container was sticky and messy, lid on the drink was loose and spilled on my pants. I have boycotted this one before and looks like I will again. read more

If you are from Oklahoma you have probably been to one of the many Braum's locations. Who doesn't love their ice cream?! Felt compelled to write this review after bad service at another location. This location feels more spacious than others and has good service at the counter and in the market area. It also seems cleaner than other locations; most locations seem downright dingy unfortunately. This place stays busy so prepare to wait a little, but employees seem to work as efficiently as they can. read more

Horrible experience an employee named Aidee was terrible no words came out of her mouth in the drive thru and she got my order wrong and I asked nicely to change it, after she slams the drive thru window in my face. I stuck my head out my window to see her just slam the Ice Cream cone in a cup. I told her co-worker she needs to learn some manners and then I drove off. This is the WORST Braums I have been too. I went with my Pup as a special treat and they refused to give me a pup cup (just a cup of whipped cream). They said that they cannot give them out for free and their is no way to charge for them. You have to buy ice cream that they can put it as a side or something like that (super hard to understand). I asked to speak with the manager and they said they were the manager. So when I got to the window to pick up my ice cream cone and other items I ordered I asked to speak with the manager again because I didn't understand why they wouldn't do it when other braums do it with NO issue and a smile on their face. After a while going back and forth with him on how they account for the whipped cream usage (wtf) they said i would have to be buying ice cream as well and I said I was. They FINALLY gave me my cup of whipped cream and said they wouldn't do it again. I will NEVER be going back to this Braums. Manager is awful and they are CHEAP! read more

I'm not sure why anyone lives in Tulsa but it might just be the proximity to Braum's. If you have never stood in line for 20 minutes, freezing because the air conditioner was blasting, in glaring white light, you haven't been on a first date in Oklahoma! You endure the other person's nervous yammering and your reward is a waffle cone the size of your date's bicep full of the most perfect frozen confection your mouth will ever, ever taste. Their frozen yogurt is like if somehow they incorporated cool whip into the ice cream. A nice, sweet, and entirely unnatural texture --you know, like your date's hair. And it melts just quickly enough that you have to stay busy licking on it or it will be all over you. I'm just gonna stop with the metaphors now. read more
