We visited one of the newer entries in Canton yesterday. Located in the Canton Green Plaza in Building 5 (Rear) at 220 Albany Turnpike, the Frosted Sheep Bake Shop specializing in cookies and cupcakes. They just opened this weekend with free samples of their signature Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie and Strawberry Cupcake. Of course, we sampled both and the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie was clearly our favorite. We loved it so much, we bought a full-sized version ($4) and a Lemon Drop Cookie ($4). The Lemon flavor really popped, and it was just as good as the Chocolate Chip. And as a bonus for our visit, we were among the shop's first 100 guests and strolled out eith a free branded tote bag! Service was great, and there were quite a few happy smiling faces on both sides of the sales counter.

Besides the Nutella, my friend got the Heavenly Chocolate & the Butter Pecan. She had the same complaint as me, the Butter Pecan stood out from the others, but only because of the nuts. The store itself is small. Menu is clearly printed on the wall. We chose a two scoop ice screen sundae. The presentation was so cute because they put a small umbrella on top! And the people are really nice too. They've been in business for 3 years which I found to be incredible. Why? There were no crowds. Then, we discovered the flavors were so good. Thick, creamy and bursting with flavor. Wow! I ran back and bought a quart to take home. Was I on a diet? Ok, I will be sure to savor it for a month. But this was really so good, I couldn't help myself. A good thing too cuz the hubby had finished the sundae by the time I got back. I wasn't a fan of the rocky road fudge I picked because it was crunchy and not buttery smooth like the fudge I've had before; I am not sure if it was stale or if that's what the consistency should feel like. I was even able to sample a topping (marshmallow sauce) which i hadn't ever heard of before and it was really good so of course i put it on my ice cream. I got the black cherry vanilla and razzmanian devil in a small with marshmallow sauce and waffle pieces (broken pieces of waffle cone). The flavors were great and the size was more than enough. Only drawback is its outdoor seating only so I personally wouldn't visit on a rainy day but a nice day like today it was the perfect treat.
